Worse Expensive Experience Ever. First off. They made us go to 14th Street and pick up the tickets. Then there was no organization for going onto and off the boat. (NYPD needs to investigate, will send videos to them). Then the food was nothing more then a buffet and not anything worth the money you expect when you pay top price for the event. The boat was possibly the largest and further to the fireworks. I can鈥檛 understand anyone that has or will leave a possible review. To be honest. It was not worth the money we spent and hopefully no one will book this event or boat ever. Decommission ASAP.

We found the event online about the New Year Eve Party on the Hornblower. After talking over the phone with Adam about this event we decided to purchase the tickets. However, when we got on the boat, it did not meet our expectation as It appeared to be overloaded. In order to walk onboard the ship we had to bump past other people and shoulder through. There was no place to sit or even put our belongings, it was impossible to have a drink and snack at the same time as no place to put a glass or a plate, no place to sit down either. The dance hall is so tiny that it might fit 30 people at the most not the 200+ on the boat. We got off the boat and went to talk to Jannettte, who was representing the company at the event, to see what possible resolution would be offered, she told us that the refund would not be an issue. After talking to Janette, she advised us to leave the boat before departure since we were not satisfied. This was the solution she offered us in order to get our money back. This is exactly what we did, we followed the instruction that was given to us. She informed us that if we get off the boat before the departure, we will get our money back. If we were not satisfied and still got on the cruise then there would be no refund. The company is ignoring this fact and keep changing the rules that they refer to suit their current argument.

I have just returned from your iEvents July 4th cruise on the Cornucopia Majesty and I write to advise how extremely disappointing the whole thing was.

Visiting New York from England and having the good fortune to be here on 4th July gave a special opportunity to enjoy a tradition that in the UK is not possible.

I booked two seated tickets.

I expected a family event, with reasonable food, a trip down the rivers and to see the Macy鈥檚 fireworks.

We arrived in good time and went to our table, which was full of new people to befriend. However this proved completely impossible due to the deafening techno music played in the room where we were seated. The music was so loud we remained at our seats for about 10 minutes before heading to the sun deck where, although the music remained loud and playing the most family unfriendly music I have ever heard, even my 16 year old son could not believe how poor the choice of music was, we did manage to find somewhere where at least we could talk without screaming at the top of our voices.

About an hour in to the trip we decided to eat and joined the long queue for moderately warm food, with little choice and little flavour.

The drinks available at the bar gave tiny (less than 125ml) measures, unless it would appear you were drinking cocktails then it seemed to flow.

The music remained at the ridiculously high volume throughout the period that the food was served so again we moved upstairs. It was getting busier by now and there was no where to sit, so for 2 hours we stood waiting. We could not return to our seats which we had paid extra for as it was too deafening (in fact I noticed that the room was almost empty about an hour before the fire works and certainly no one, yes no one, was dancing despite the invasive nature of the so called 鈥渕usic鈥?

The fireworks eventually started and due to the boat being late leaving we got stuck behind a bridge which resulted in hardly any of the fireworks being seen, we were too far away, they were obscured by a bridge and unless you got a chance to stand at the outer railing of the boat, the view was almost nil.

The techno music continued on the journey back to the pier and we finally docked around 11:15pm. There then followed a complete fiasco to disembarked which had elements of people trying to leave the Titanic!

Quite frankly I am horrified that you have managed to get away with this.

It was pricy poor quality and in reality a huge and total disappointment. Having written this complaint I now propose to post all over social media.

I have just been to New York for 5 days over New Year and attended the Moonlight Party Cruise on the Great Point and I have to say I have never been so disappointed in all of my life.

On boarding the cruise (which can I just say, it was not a cruise, it was a ferry boat) we were in complete and utter shock at how small and unsatisfying the vessel was. iEvents advertise on their website that it is a 'huge vessel' which it is not, it was an extremely small boat especially with how many people that were on board. They also advertise that it has multiple levels for us to explore however it did not not, it had 2 levels and there really wasn't much to explore other than a soaked floor that everyone kept slipping on and a handful of wooden tables.

The condensation on the windows meant we didn't have any views of the city skyline or its landmarks and to get any sighting of the fireworks you had to go on the outside deck (also cramped to hell). There was absolutely no heating what so ever on this cruise so I sat with my big coat, scarf, gloves and hat on for the majority of the night which isn't exactly what I planned to wear to go into the New Year. I found that the hardest thing to understand, it was -12 degress outside and everyone was freezing on board the ship.

They advertise that we would have no problem taking over the dance floor on the cruise however the dance floor was so small and not even sectioned off I was slightly confused at how it could even be classed as a dance floor. We overheard one couple saying they had done this cruise on NYE 2017 and there was an LED lit up dance floor, I think this was what we were more expecting.

The lights on the boat stayed on for the full night which again, every party I have ever been to has been dark with disco lights/led lights. How are we meant to feel like we are on a party cruise in full beaming lights?

My partner actually proposed to me on the morning of New Year's Eve and as you can imagine, I was completely overjoyed about this and even more so in the mood for the cruise because of this.. both myself and my partner have actually said the cruise completely ruined the day for us so not only did it spoil our New Year's Eve plans but it completely ruined a very special day for us that we were wanting to double celebrate on.

I have contacted iEvents directly asking if there was anything at all they would do to help our major issue and they just refused and were so cheeky about us.

They also said that they were a small company (yeah right) and that I shouldn't be doing this to them as a business owner myself (which I am not, no idea where they got this information from haha)..

I feel we paid far too much for this yacht and I am extremely disappointed.

If you have any uncertainty of booking a cruise with this company, let me help you make your decision.. DO NOT DO IT!!

I bought tickets to an event on NYE in chicago at the Aon Grand Ballroom on the Navy Pier. The event was hosted by iEvents (also under ChiTownEvents) and it was very much a disappointment! I paid 400 dollars for a Vip table for two on their balcony. Not only were there two other people seated with us but the tables were tiny. Definitely not enough room for four people and our table was also within 6 ft of a large trash recepticle for the bar that was constently being used! On top of that, the food (if u can call it that) was very subpar with the flatbreads being soggy and the pasta, hotdogs and hamburgers being overcooked. Plus there were no lights on the food tables so everyone had to use their lights from their phones to see anything bc the balcony was so poorly lit. Then there were the bartenders who seemed they hadnt bartended a day in their life seeing as one of them asked me the ingredients to a vodka cranberry. Wow. So after this very forgettable night that we traveled to all the way from Orlando, Fl for….I decided to call and see if they would give a partial refund for the experience i had. The man i spoke to, i believe Adam or Andrew was his name, said no he couldnt do that even though he claimed to be a supervisor. So my recommendation is to stay away from any events hosted by iEvents, period!

I have purchased a ticket in iEvents.com. I wanted to get a refund because I won't be able to make it. The people who I talked to are so rude and ill mannered, terrible service even the Supervisor. They denied my refund request.. Terrible company, service and a ripoff. WARNING: DO NOT MAKE PURCHASE TICKETS FOR ANY EVENT WITHIN THIS WEBSITE!!
They will steal your money!

I proposed at this event and it couldn't have been any more beautiful. We were a group of 30 and felt that we were all given excellent service. The food is fantastic and I highly recommend it. People tend to get very drunk on this boat, the food may help before the binge fest begins.

Adam Riccio was so helpful with everything.

Service was pretty poor and overpriced. #1 I had reserved for a party of 6 a couple weeks in advance and yet we were shorted two chairs upon arriving on the boat. Although I was guaranteed my party would be able to sit together despite what package they brought from the site. #2 I ordered one of the celebration cakes for additional charge and at first no one knew where the cake was. Eventually, it was presented to me in a soggy looking box and the server did not bother to present it nicely with any sort of candles. To top it off the cake was very small and had nasty stale taste that no one in my party end up eating. I asked for a refund and will not be given one. #3 When I first boarded the boat and noticed the table and cake issue no one was around to answer my question on the boat, I was told to go outside and find someone. #4 The added buffet option is not really a buffet and should not be advertised as such. #5 I had organized this for my special someone's 30th birthday as a surprise (so just imagine how frustrated I was getting!) and I had told the planner in advance that it was his birthday. He said we would also get a special shout out from the DJ and that never came. The only reason I give this two stars is because despite these hiccups, I still managed to have a good time since the DJ was really good and the views were beautiful.

We had a really great time, my only issue is how crowded the rooftop became once the yacht left the dock due to really nice weather. I wished there were a bigger yacht since it made dancing and walking around almost uncomfortable. Otherwise, nice cruise.

Music and the view was wonderful. Food Buffet wasn't what was advertised. The staff was less then helpful and was really rude except for the bartenders. The celebration cake that we paid for was $35 and it had to be the smallest cake I've ever seen. It tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for about 10 decades an ended up infusing with mold. All around I would give this particular cruise 3 out of 5.

It was horrible. I thought we had to be on by 8:30, didn't even leave… left around 10pm because we never left the dock. Food was horrendous too. Don't waste your $$

We had a great time on the "booze cruise". Seemed everyone was drunk by the end of the night but that means everyone had a good time. No issues or problems. I'd say the only thing that came close to an issue was when booking and asking questions through the phone number provided and dealing with Adam. He's not the friendliest customer service representative.

I had a great time with my girlfriend who is now my fianc茅 which the guy in charge of the cruise helped make that happen. They stopped the boat near the Statue of Liberty and let me use the microphone to propose to my now fianc茅 everything was perfect and this is a night I will be telling my kids one day I can't say thanks enough.
