Company is. Total scam! Don鈥檛 buy the protection plan from ANY retailer!
purchased 2 $1500 sets and purchased the extra $200 Guardian.Put in a claim in for damaged hardware, sent Picts guardian refuses to cover! Claim Number 7364803 I have been emailing guardian since July (3 months)! I sent pictures of the hardware malfunction and because the hardware is still attached (and doesn't "look" damaged, they are refusing to repair or replace. I keep sending pictures and telling them you can see the spring INSIDE the hardware cane loose and that is why it no longer works. I have a $1500 piece of furniture that looks like garbage now in my house because we can't put the door back on! I have sent several emails and picture with the door hanging off and their response is "the hardware seems fine". Total waste of money, poor customer service and I feel like I got scammed! I want the item FIXED! Or i will be forced to file a small claims suit.

The absolute biggest waste of time and money. They will do everything they can to get out of fixing what you pay to have covered whether its a couch, recliner, or coffee table. Save your time and money with their plans. This should be a legit scam and forced to refund and compensate anyone who purchased this

They said the plan I purchased from The Room Place does cover my furniture for stains and that all damages must be relatable to a single incident. Since I reported multiple stains in various locations on the head board which can not be from a single incident.
So I鈥檓 guessing, the world they live in, toddlers can鈥檛 put food stains in multiple places even after they learn how to grab things and lift up no matter how dirty their hands are.

So I bough multiple furniture from Bobs and bought the warranty with Guardian Protection Plan. So one day my kids accidentally damaged all of the bed set in their bedroom while playing with friends. Guardian Protection plan states that kids can't damage items the same day, then it's not a accident, it's intentional. Kids play and while playing, they damage things. So what is the point of having a protection? If the kids accidentally damage the bed set, why isn't it covered. They make up things as they go. So the supervisor told me that each items has a multiple damages, and I said let's go picture by picture and see what the multiple damages are. She refused to look at the pictures with me and kept saying kids actions can be stopped. How can I predict what the kids will do. They refuse to listen to my points and just denied them without providing a valid claims. They also said how can you determine when was it damaged, they said it can't be done in one single incident it probably happened overtime, but failed to let me know how they can tell it happened overtime. I also asked if they can send somebody to inspect it if they don't believe me, they do not want to hear that. HORRIBLE SERVICE

I purchased a bed frame at Bob's discount furniture one year ago. Additionally, I purchased Guardian Protection Products because in their contract, they claimed that they would cover all accidental damage to the bed frame. Two weeks ago, the bed frame broke in my sleep. I called Guardian Protection Products to file a claim and my claim was denied. They refused to fix the bed frame and refused to reimburse. I pleaded with them on the phone that what they were doing was immoral and illegal but all they kept claiming was that it was my fault and that I did it on purpose. TRUST ME- don't purchase this plan, especially if you are buying furniture from bobs. I was told not to purchase it beforehand from friends but I did anyways and I truly regret it. This will only leave you feeling frustrated and aggravated. It is not worth it.

98% of Claims are Denied
I filed a complaint with the CA Attorney General's office to have them look into how they process their claims. Almost all claims are denied. The furniture store told me to lie when I filed my claim.

I purchased a protection plan with Guardian. I sent a picture of the scratchs that were covered under the policy and they denied my claim and refused to pay or replace a new table. They are scaming customers. The Contract definitely covers scratches and they said the picture was a fade not a scratch never ever sent a representative to check out the scratchs. The table set was $682.91 with the $69.99 goof proof plan. I purchased from Bobs furniture. I am definitely going to sue the company in small claims court if this matter isn't rectified.

Bought sectional sofa & loveseat from Bobs with Guardian 'Goof Proof' 5 year protection plan.
Headrest mechanism stopped working after 18 months.
Filed claim explaining situation.
Claim was denied based on the fact that the breakage was"not due to a single accidental incident/was caused by misuse of furniture".
Appealed and was dealt with an insulting and unprofessional manner that defied logic.
Why buy a protection plan that doesn't protect?
