We ordered last night and we sat here waiting and waiting. Couldn't get a hold of anyone. 2 whole hours later received a message that our order was canceled with no explanation! Thanks a lot. So dissapointed!

Was given a delivery time of 8-8:10. Ok, but then it was delayed to 8:25-8:35. At 8:45 I went on Grubhub and it said my order was canceled! No explanation…nothing! It said to call the restaurant! I tried to call Grubhub and it said the wait time was 10 minutes. No surprise! The restaurant said that they had just received notice that the order was canceled but I could come get it if I could get there in 15-20 minutes. It would have taken longer than that! Thanks Grubhub! You lost my business!

When we first started using Grubhub a couple years ago everything was great but in the past couple of years the service has gotten really bad. One lady even went so far to say she couldn鈥檛 find us when we watched her drive around the parking lot but we couldn鈥檛 flag her down and she stole our food. Tonight we ordered ice cream from Coldstone creamery. We got so fed up with them pushing back the order because your driver refused to pick it up, so my husband ended up going to get it himself. I am sick and tired of your bad customer service.

Canceled my order?? After waiting over an hour? Didn鈥檛 say why. Just canceled. Thanks for that. Took 30+ minutes just to get their app to accept my address and complete a new account. First attempt but won鈥檛 use again.

Ordered a single menu item from an Indian restaurant and the order was originally supposed to arrive at 5:45pm. Text messages were received that the order was delayed until 6:00pm. Then notified that the order was cancelled. Called the restaurant to resolve and it was found out that GrubHub was at fault for not delivering the order. Definitely would not recommend in the majority of cases. Only ordered off of GrubHub during COVID 19 Coronavirus. Don't trust ordering anything off of these apps.

ordered 5 times received food once. Order through another company called SEAMLESS and they use GRUBHUB as the delivery. The FOOD NEVER CAME AGAIN. They only refunded me 2 of the four orders. They kept my money for orders never delivered. UNREAL STAY AWAY !!!!!!!

I left instructions to deliver food in back by garage but my food was left in the front on the ground between my neighbor and my house and no knock on the door to let me know it was here. The ants enjoyed the fries, thanks grubhub delivery person. My first and last time using grubhub. Can't answer any of the questions below because I never say the deliverer.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any food delivery service. I am a very easy going person and I am never one to complain. I am that person at a restaurant who, if given the wrong food or not what I asked for, I will just eat it because I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings or make a scene. But this time, this was absolutely ridiculous. I ordered from a local subway and it said it would be 40-50 minutes which is fine and it said it would be delivered between 1:30 and 1:45 pm. However, due to the current pandemic the delivery was no contact which I get. I laid out specific instructions for the driver on how to find my apartment including where it was located and what the building looked like. I was told I would receive a notification once the driver delivered my order. Not only did I not get a notification, but when I checked my order status, it said it had already been delivered. I walked to all of the nearby houses to see if maybe they had delivered it to the wrong address, but did not find any food. I contacted the customer service line and they tried to help me track down my food order by contacting the driver. After being on hold for 15 minutes, the customer service agent told me he is having trouble connecting with the driver. I waited on hold for another 20 minutes for him to tell me that they are unable to contact the driver. He said he would try again and if he couldn't get a hold of the driver in another 20 minutes then he would talk with his supervisor about the next steps. At this point, it is going on 2:15 and I am starving so I asked him if we could just get a refund and forget about it. I was issued my refund and will NEVER use Grubhub again. Pretty sure the driver took off with our food.

Ordered food from here via Applebee's, after 1.5 hours, NO delivery. Contacted Grub hub and they had order but NO info but it was delivered. Not to our house tho. Customer ervice manager did nothing but cancel our order and credit our account, then hung up. Maybe find and fix the issue.

I had ordered from a particular restaurant using GrubHub. The first time it was canceled, I was told the restaurant was closed, which they were not. After talking with the owner, It was confirmed they were not closed on the weekend. Yesterday I order from the same place around 7:30 pm. I received another notice telling me they ran out of the food I like. I was sent an email with no explanation of why they canceled my order. It was when I chat with them; the rep told me the reason was they ran out of the soup. I will not order from GrubHub for a while and for the restaurant, they will never use GrubHub again.

First night using Grubhub was told thirty minutes after order was confirmed the restaurant didn鈥檛 have a dish. So they started my order over again and had to wait another hour for it to arrive. Second night told me 30 minutes after they told me the order was confirmed that the order Was cancelled because it 鈥渃ouldn鈥檛 be fulfilled.鈥?Restaurant was still open. This was around 930 so most restaurants started to close. Told me 3-5 days to get a refund. Used Doordash for months and never had one single issue. Deleted my Grubhub app, felt the need to write this review and will never use again.

This company has no problem taking your money charging huge fees and not taking responsibility for their errors. I placed the order and payed. The driver goes to pick up the order which they personally (the driver) have placed on your behalf. She takes it upon herself to change the order to much less and cheaper food then drops it off. She leaves before you can check it. Restaurant confirmed driver ordered the wrong items. Grub hub wanted us to call the driver and work it out. When we told them that fixing this and working it out with their hired employee is not our responsibility. Long story short food ordered to get 5 people, just under 60 bucks, good received 4 orders of the cheapest item on the menu. Company response you can wait 5 business days for them to fix it as they are unable to correct the order or reorder what should have came. Must be nice to be able blow money like that and not worry. I personally do not have the money to do that. This was a special treat for us and grubhubs inability to provide the service I paid for means not everyone got to eat and those who did couldn't even fill up on what was delivered. Shame in you grab hub.

Third time we have ordered and third time we have been told thirty minutes into our wait time that our order is delayed and will be another 30 minutes from the original delivery time given. This is for some dang KFC. Called to complain and was told oh well, this is your new delivery window and if it doesn't arrive, call us back. After it was switched between three different drivers, I got an updated delivery time for an hour later. Had to call back and request a manager in order to cancel the order. 5-7 days for a freaking refund. Will never use them again

The order is always correct and on time. The drivers are always very nice. And if there is any issue with the order, they will call you and resolve it before picking up the food.

Grub Hub doesn't even deserve one star. I placed an order from McDonald's for my cousin. He was hospitalized so the food would go there. I added very detailed information about the hospital's location (including cross street) I also added the room number and his name. I received a call from the driver but I couldn't understand a word he was saying because he could not speak English. The driver harassed me with over three phones calls. Each time I could not understand a word he was saying. I called Grub Hub and the customer service gentleman had broken English so it made it very hard to communicate with him as well. I finally found out that the driver had left the food in the hospital lobby. It took over an hour to get this situation settled. The food was cold and inedible by the time my cousin received it. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This company sucks. I ordered my food for a party and 10 minutes before the party started, they canceled my order and now I have to figure something out. I will never use this company again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this company.

As a driver I like this company they generally make you feel like your part of the process. Driver support is fantastic and quick. The money is decent for a side gig. Unfortunately, they aren't as prevalent in our smaller area. For customers, these are observations only. I have been working for them about 3 months now so take these with a grain of salt. Hopefully this will make your experience more enjoyable. 1) We have a smaller sized city so drivers that work past 8 pm. are fewer than the rest of the day. In our area I would say to order your food before 7 pm. 2) If your food is really late it could be that there aren't available drivers. You may have ordered your food an hour ago but, the assigned driver may have just gotten it minutes ago. 3) Demand picks up more for the dinner hours than the lunch hours. Also, for bad weather so there can be delays. 4) The driver isn't responsible if the food wasn't cooked the way you ordered it. For example, if you ordered a steak well done and it came medium rare the driver doesn't know that nor would they. 5) As for fees for what I see online is that they charge the restaurant. Not sure on this but, I believe the restaurant can add it's own delivery fee to the price charged. 6) The further distance away that you are from the restaurant the colder the food could be. If your twelve minutes away then please don't expect food straight out of the oven. 7) If you see an Chicago area code and you have an order placed please answer your phone. It may be your driver trying to clarify something with the order or trying they maybe trying to find your location. For instance, if they don't have your drink or side choice then they might want to know what you want instead. Not answering the phone causes delays. Those delays can push into the next order. 8) If your at a business please put the business name in the notes. It's a pain trying to find the street number of a business that's in a group of businesses however, it's easy to read the business sign. I hope these help or clear up some of the mystery of what's going on.
