Growth Street

None of the money that I placed on their platform has been invested since 15 June 2020.
It means that I receive no interest and that I have lost the welcome bonus because I won't comply with the minimal amount of 2000拢 invested. In other words there is no point about keeping money on this platform anymore.

I tried to contact the support more than a week ago to confirm that I won't be entitled to the bonus but I haven't received an answer even an automatic reply.

Growth Street is very easy to use – in essence – just invest and forget. With each investment only being for 30 days, you never have to wait long if you need to withdraw it. I have actually "drip-fed" my investments so that they are spread out all through the month. Initially to ensure diversification in loans, but i was assured that was unnecessary due to the provision fund. However, it does mean that should I need to make a withdrawal, I only have to wait a few days. By having the automatic re-investment option set, repayments are reinvested, often immediately, but certainly within a day or so, so it can safely be left to its own devices while I get on with my life 🙂

Growth Street makes P2P investments about as straightforward as possible. I've been with GS for just over a year and my returns are very close to the quoted 5.3%.
The website is very easy to use, and there's only a couple of days cash-drag (when deposited money sits in your account earning no interest awaiting investment).
Recommended.

Transferred from a cash I.S.A to the I.F.I.S.A which was simple and straight forward to do. Only been going for three months, however, so far so good. No complaints.

Now I'm up and running everything is unbelievably easy using auto reinvest settings. I am still trying to extricate myself from losing money in Lendy, so I'm particularly appreciative of the GS P2P approach to lending!

I had some technical problems getting the account set up and the human-computer interface for the web site could be improved.

Joanna surely deserves man-of-the-month award for taking ownership of my problems and getting a work-around from the GS IT supplier.

Just coming up to the end of my second month and the GS system has kept me fully invested, rolling over loans and spare cash effortlessly.

Thanks

An interesting variation on many P2P models, with loans restricted to a maximum of 30 days. This is largely a 'hands-off' investment – put funds into your account and loans are set up for you. Been using Growth Street for a few months now and the returns are as expected, happy so far. Funds I have put in have been invested into loans very quickly. Growth Street offer an IFISA subject of course to current ISA regulations. The website is easy to use and offers the option of regular monthly withdrawals of just interest, or both interest and capital.

As with all P2P lenders, any funds invested are not covered by FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme) protection which needs to be borne in mind when deciding whether/how much to invest.

So far, so good. I opened the account a couple of months ago. Everything seems, for now, very smooth, transparent and simple.

I would like to think that it is my anger at being rejected that is driving my view but unfortunately it isn't. It is the explanation: a company that Growth Street work with has elevated us and given Growth Street a score which meant we didn't meet the criteria. Who this company is, they will not let us know; and yet this company claims to have the ability to evaluate our business within our industry and score us. What information they used they will not let us know. What exactly the score said they will not let us know. If you need money, do not bother with Growth Street. My favourite lie, sorry line is: We love helping businesses grow. Growing businesses can be misunderstood by traditional finance providers. We鈥檙e trying to change that – yeah, sure

Overall I find the platform easy to use, with investment and re-investment automatically diversified across loans. There seems to be little information for the investor regarding the performance of the loan book and the type and number of businesses taking loans however.

My main request for the future is that Growth Street provide some sort of transparency for referrals. Many P2P platforms provide this information, including a list of referrals and notifications when a referral is used. Given the generous referral bonuses it's disappointing that this information is not readily available via the website.

The site is very well designed and easy to use. The rate is good and the auto-reinvest is useful.

Simple and works well compared to other p2p companies.
I have been invested for two years and had no problems.
Just trying out their recent ISA which hopefully is just as good.

Great savings product – you deposit your money and can forget about it. Or you can log in every day to see your interest grow. Very hands off, with great returns and if I need my money I can withdraw in 30 days. Would recommend to anyone

Pain free P2P investing so far. I've been investing here 3-months and returns are the advertised 5.3%, I use the auto-invest mode so there is no hassle. This is one of the simpler P2P platforms to use. When I invested there was a 10% cashback offer on a 拢2k investment (拢200), cashback payable after 12 months investing – I think the offer is still open.

Fantastic way to earn interest on savings!
Simple and quick setup.
High interest rate of 5.3% currently.
Would highly recommend!

Security of funds is a major concern for me and the only thing stopping me adding more funds.
Provision fund is around 3.5% prefer 5% or above.
Otherwise everything seems to be going fine so far. Software is straightfoward and simple.
Transfers usually tak茅 around a couple of hours on a weekday and the lending queue is about an hour. Does what it says on the tin!

I鈥檝e been using Growth Street for 3 months now. So far everything has gone like clockwork and I鈥檝e been very impressed. There has been no delay whatsoever in getting money lent out. Whilst I wanted both to make an initial investment with Growth Street and two subsequent top-ups since, cash back incentives applicable in all 3 instances have been most welcome. It鈥檚 great that the loans are only for a month so that in normal circumstances you can readily gain access to you money. Now, if only they鈥檇 offer an ISA – come on guys!

One of my favourite peer to peer lending platforms. Easy to use (no real choices to make – you invest at the market rate [5%ish] and that's it). I like it because:
-it has a provision fund to minimize loses (so you are effectively diversified against the whole portfolio)
-the loan terms are fixed at 30 days, so you can easily withdraw as needed
-You don't need to invest a large sum to get going
– I've had good contact with partners throughout, including answering specific questions to do with the process.

It used to be a rather slow to be matched with loans (hence the 4* rating rather than 5*), but this has been much improved over the last year or so.

Very good investor customer service and an impeccable record on safe loans and full repayment to investors.
My only problems are that as there have been quite long periods over the last year I used Growth St when my money was not earning interest – and after eventually coughing up tax on the interest I think I have lost money in real terms due to inflation – I have sadly decided to withdraw funds and invest in secured bridging loans which earn about double or more interest but much longer length investments.
This will help other current GrowthSt investors as the amount I am withdrawing will reduce the current lending queue by about 40% and therefore they will start earning more quickly.
When they paid 6.5% it was much more viable for me.
Growth Street is much better for investors who need the 30 day access to their capital, I don't need this right now.
Its been good but I have to vote with my wallet, Thanks Growth Street!

Very easy to setup and manage. I have only been investing on Growth Street for 2 months, though have been using other P2P platforms for 5 years. Growth Street is by far the easiest to use, as it provides no investment choices, yet gives a fair return and with the protection of a provision fund. Excellent as part of a balanced P2P portfolio.

Out of the 3 p2p platforms that I invest in Growth street is my prefered option. I find the reinvestment times quick and efficent and so far the interest rates are consistently competitive.
