Having made several aborted attempts to contact Groupon re an undelivered ( paid for ) article. I am now forced to abandon this search completely. would I ever place another order ? Sorry to say NEVER !

Ordered a hedgehog house. It arrived with a nail sticking out the side – obviously I don鈥檛 want to injure an animal with a faulty damaged home that could impale it when it goes for refuge. Emailed several times for help to be told I had no other option but to either take it to the post office at a cost to my time and petrol bill or take the day off work for a collection as they couldn鈥檛 do one on a Sunday as basically they do not want the cost but would rather it cost me their customer a day鈥檚 wages. I would recommend not to order from Groupon as I took this to higher management and a customer service advisor told me to basically put myself out as a cost to myself to return. Horrendous really given I didn鈥檛 send someone out a hedgehog wildlife torture house complete with nail for impairing wildlife. Cost me as well???!!! Lovely.

It took a while to learn my lesson, as Groupon use shiny adverts and exploit the human addiction for discounts and 'deals'. Nothing purchased via Groupon has lasted more than a week. I actually received a broken toy and as expressed by other customers getting a refund is near impossible.

They don鈥檛 deserve 1 star. They arrange delivery through Hermes who are the worst courier for leaving your parcel outside no where near your door and neither groupon nor Hermes inform you they have delivered the parcel. It wasn鈥檛 until checking delivery status I found out it had been delivered yet wasn鈥檛 by my door and nowhere to be found. Groupon did t help and said contact Hermes who just send emails saying they are looking into it after I made formal complaint. 3 weeks later no refund no replacement and no resolution by Hermes. Closed the account and outta pocket for second time this year with this crap company. It鈥檚 not worth even ordering from as its luck of draw if you get your parcel and in my case I鈥檓 once again out of pocket!

1 star is generous but cant complete with less.

Ordered a bed Washington Double in Velvet Grey.

What was delivered in 2 parts was a Slate Grey Fabric Headboard Colour Code Grey 1989 and Velvet Grey Sides Colour Code 1688. Colour wise not what was ordered (well the sides were) not the headboard as all should have match. In addition…. no foot board to join in all together, no fixings and no slats!!!

Contacting Groupon is a nightmare. DM on social media only. Takes ages to respond and when they do it is generic canned responses most of the time not from the U.K.

Offered to collect and then once returned refund could take up to 14 days. Asked for 3 collection dates in next 7 days which were provided, these had been taken! was asked for 3 more and these were taken then they stated collection could be 3rd August which i accepted. Then this date couldn't be arranged but my details will be sent to courier and they would contact me… time frame 'unknown'….

So right now Groupon have kind of washed their hands. I'm waiting on a courier service with half of a bed which is mismatched.

As i mentioned 1 star is generous.

impossible to contact-Groupon has made it as difficult as possible to follow up on anything- in my case a product which was not received . Luckily of low value but lesson learnt -the appalling reviews are justified

I booked a spa experince in Novemer for my sisters 40th Birthday in May this year. Due to covid it was rearranged. However the company have moved premises and can no longer fulfil the agreement, Groupon have refunded the payment as a credit on my account, even though I paid by credit card. I have emailed numerous times, and i just get an automated response saying it has been refunded. So if i don't get it back to my card soon, I am going to have to get some advice because I'm sure they are not allowed to do this. And I will not be using Groupon again that is for sure.

Ordered a mattress from Groupon in January. It is now lumpy and sagging in the middle 7 months later. They will not refund. I think this issue needs to go to trading standards as we must have some comeback regarding clearly substandard products

ordered 5 items from Groupon , 2 arrived in reasonable condition. 2 items got shipped to Northern Ireland and we are in Surrey, still trying to get replacement but not holding my breath.
The final item just seems to have disappeared, not sure where it is. Requested shipping update but still awaiting a response.
The original order was placed on the 11th June, it is now 8th July.
All in all, will not be using them again.

Groupon is deceiving you to buy things from them. Bad quality items purchased from them, and the price is not low at all. Not happy with the customer service, they are not helpful at all. Don鈥檛 buy anything from Groupon!

The have cancelled my order 3 times and now refusing to refund my money, instead they gave me Groupon bucks. I intend to take legal action against this company – i have set up an email to take legal action with other customers who have been scammed.The email is grouponscam at outlook.com

PLEASE never buy anything from group on. Purchased an item for more than 100 pounds but my mistake bought 2 instead of 1. Tried to cancel one item but Groupon staff refused to refund my money. What a group of cheaters they are.

Bought microwave toaster and kettle . Delivered 31st December 2020
I have used the microwave 3 times and now it stopped working .. I have tried endless times to contact groupon . No response .. I have printed of a label to send back but dont know where to take a heavy package . They say its royal mail .. I cant carry this parcel but cant get to speak to someone who will arrange a courier to come and collect .. dont think I will use groupon again

Groupon have delivered a damaged item. You cannot get hold of them and they don鈥檛 reply to emails.

After reading the reviews on here I think trading standards need to intervene!!

Buying from Groupon is like throwing your money in the bin. Their products are not fit for purpose, they make your life hell when you complain, and you never, ever get a refund. Plus, I was blocked from posting a bad review about the product. If you're disabled or vulnerable, then Groupon make your life even worse. They will never speak to you by phone and nothing is their fault. I recorded the two phones calls I got after 2 months. Appalling.

So the response to my groupon review after my complaint about an order not turning up….call customer service/online chat! very helpful as of course I haven't tried that a million times already!! Avoid groupon at all costs-use Amazon instead!

I purchased 鈥淟ooking4Parking鈥?Groupon voucher worth of 拢4 which said it will be up to 35% discount. Instruction on Groupon was not clear or concise, it just said to put Groupon code while booking. The only option to enter the code was at the beginning, before you pressed the compare
button, which I did but no discount was shown. Even more the price
with the Groupon voucher was 拢76.95 when if I would book without
voucher it would cost only 拢67.72 which is 拢9.23 more. At that time
I presumed that discount would be deducted at the end so I carried on
with booking. However it never did.
I phoned Groupon and I was told that I need to bring printed voucher on
arrival to the company and will get discount refund. I phoned the
company for confirmation but was informed that Groupon provided me with
false information as no refund will be given. Also they confirmed
that my booking is not discounted and I can not change or cancel it
due to the type of booking. They said they can not help me here and
advised to contact Groupon and solve the problem with them since I
bought the voucher from Groupon. However when I contacted Groupon they advised me to talk to 鈥渓ooking4Parking鈥?to sort out the issue and get refund of any surcharge from them as they would not going to pay back any difference that I lost using my Groupon voucher, even though it is Groupon who advertise that they have contract with the company on their site and they should take responsibility when something there is a problem.
Groupon absolves itself of responsibility by throwing problems back at their loyal customers. Groupon just misleads customers and deliberately conceals the full information which leads the customers to believe it is a good deal when in reality it is just a con. I am very disappointed with Groupon services and "deals?" luckily it is not a large amount that I have lost, though stop using Groupon in the future.
I am relieved that I realised what a shady company Groupon is before investing into a more expensive deal.

WORST customer service I have ever received

If I could give less than one star I would

I have sent numerous emails asking for a refund for an item I ordered on 28 July that has never been delivered!

All I get is emails asking me to wait a few more days!!

My requests to cancel and have a refund and their complaints procedure have been ignored.

Groupon seem to think they are above the Consumer Rights Act 2015 so let鈥檚 see how they like Trading Standards!

I鈥檓 done with groupon!!!! I am deleting the app and never again shall I order anything from groupon.

I purchased 3 items:

1. Hand made memory foam mattress
2. Ottoman end lift queen size bed frame WHITE
3. Mattress topper

1. The so called hand made mattress is completely sub standard to what was advertised, hardly any support around the edges. Not worth the RRP, ok I paid a discount price however it is just about worth that price. Not what I would consider a saving as advertised. It came vacuum packed and rolled up. Only way to see the quality is to open it up.

2. The queen size ottoman bed in white is not white, it is an off white, more of an ivory colour. Secondly, the build quality is quite poor. I imagine the bed frame won鈥檛 last long.

3. The mattress topper, as described but better quality available on Amazon for the same price.

I really can鈥檛 be bothered going through the motions of emails, repackaging, waiting in for curriers, waiting for refunds etc… imagine trying to send a mattress back once de-vacuumed.

What I have received will do for now based on what I have paid. The point is, I haven鈥檛 made a saving. I paid a cheap price but got cheap goods. It is the so called 鈥榮aving鈥?or 鈥渂argain鈥?which is just not the case. It鈥檚 just poorly manufactured rubbish being miss sold as higher quality products.

I feel like I鈥檝e been screwed over so I will never order a single item from groupon ever again – EVER!

Just money grabbers, had a voucher for the Ganges and Gurkha Plymouth (crooks) as a birthday present, booked on Groupon site followed up with telephone confirmation. Arrived at restaurant all shut up, tried to call, no answer, had to get food elsewhere. Next day tried to contact Groupon, phone did not work, on-line contact form did not work, but the did however show that the Ganges had cashed the voucher, and Google Maps review showed that others had been robbed in the same way. Contacted Groupon who simply said we cannot talk to you as you are not the account holder, meanwhile they are still knowingly selling worthless vouchers for non existent meals.

It is very worrying that I find myself writing more and more reviews about dodgy companies like this, we need new laws and enforcement officers to protect us from these morally corrupt organisations.

Kept telling me there was a fault

Bought an electric weeder from them. Fine but the fuse cover of the plug fell out in two pieces, exposing the fuse.
Emailed them about this – email bounces.
Went on website but cannot seem to contact them without the hassle of signing up – no email address found.

Do not use, total waste of your hard earned money. Bought tickets for a concert that was cancelled on the day of the event. Contacted Groupon & informed I cant have a refund? Total joke of a company. AVOID.
