Granuflex rubber roofing mats (I bought the green version): Being marketed and sold specifically for 'WALKWAYS AND BALCONIES' … Nowhere on their site do they mention that there is a severe flaw with the product – i.e. that it gives off an extreme black, carbon dye that stains to the touch – fingers, feet, shoes, clothing – which then ultimately stains whatever you come into contact with e.g. carpets (this would seemingly be from the recycled tyre aspect of their product.)
It is a known fault (having spent a small fortune on the product, I then complained to my roofer's supplier, whereby the defect was immediately admitted without question and eventually (aided by a few legal threats) my money was refunded … yet Granuflex themselves – who are ultimately responsible, do not admit the fault anywhere on their marketing material.
This product should be withdrawn from the market as it categorically is not fit for the purpose it is being sold for!
