I have used Directory Opus since the Amiga days. They continually strive to keep the software up to date, bugfree and what their users want & need. I use it constantly.. at home and at work. It is hands down one of the best written piece of software I use.

I've used GP Software's Directory Opus file manager for over a decade, after trying around 20 other alternatives to the one included in Windows. Some of those alternatives were very good, and usually free, but DO is outstanding enough to warrant repeat purchase.

DO has way more than I need, the main benefits for me are:

Access speed鈥擫ayouts view is 2-click access to various groups of folders I need for a task, especially useful when there are 2-3 FTP sites needing login as part of the job;
FTP client鈥擨 used most of the top-rated ones last decade, but DO's built-in FTP is far more reliable and robust than those good ones ever were;
ZIP manager鈥擲hows ZIP [& other archive] files as a folder, and allows contained files to be operated on as if they were independent;
Renaming鈥擮nce you figure it out, the bulk renaming functions are excellent;
Rock solid鈥擠oesn't crash or freeze or throw any other tantrum.

Summary鈥擠O has that extra super-slick feel of outstanding software.

Bought Directory Opus back in September 2008. Never had any problem with payment or with the software. Truly an amazing program!
