I was contacted a couple of days ago by a bogus agency [email聽protected]nets saying that I had been selected by a partner company for a job as they had seen my CV on a job site. I was invited to attend a telephone interview by logging onto a supplied website. As I am looking for work I duly followed the instructions on line I also received a text and email from Tim Marshall about a telephone interview that was cancelled. Then I got an email with a employment contract. This is a very unorthodox way of being granted a job without having a proper face to face interview which leads me to be very sceptical about the company. I tried calling the number that was provided and was on the phone waiting for more than 15min therefore I hung up which further increased my scepticism about the way they do business.
The true scam is I was referred to http://www.smart-checks.com/ for background check and they charged 拢150 which I'm suppose to pay upfront in a very suspicious and unusual payment option.
Further online checks revealed many people have been duped in the past
