Great slippers/clogs. Love the material and the soles. Very comfy.

Only worn for a few weeks and since day one they鈥檝e shed, today I鈥檝e found they鈥檝e shed so much there鈥檚 a hole. I鈥檝e only worn these in the house, so I鈥檓 pretty disappointed about the wear on the wool especially for the price. The soles are great, but I鈥檓 finding wool everywhere.

They ran a bit wide for me, but thank goodness they have cinching. They are warm and cool, so my feet are just right without sweating. I wear a 7 and purchased a 7. I did measure my feet prior to ordering per your size chart and would have 1/2" room from toe to end of the slipper. So those that said they run small and had to order a larger size, must not have gone through the measuring process or they must not have cinched them. If you don't cinch them, your foot may move to the toe as you walk.

I plan to order another pair to wear outside…so I'll have one for indoors and one for outdoors.

I discovered Giesswein online by doing a lot of research about slippers. I run quite warm so my feet get hot easily so I am wary about slippers in general because they are too warm to wear for extended periods of time. I also was looking for a slipper that could be worn outside so I could go in the backyard, get the mail, etc. At first I thought that $80 was a lot to pay for slippers but I realized that if you pay for the highest quality products, made with the best materials and also supporting a smaller, more thoughtful company that it was worth the investment and they would last for years to come. If you break down the cost for how long you can actually wear these then the price is totally worth it. In the end, I am very happy with my decision to get these. I wear them everyday and because they are made from the best sheep's wool, my feet stay dry and at a good temp. The soles are awesome too. You could, if one wanted to, wear these as "shoes" to run errands. I haven't reached a point where I want to wear my household clothing to the market but if that is your bag then go for it. I highly recommend this company and their products. Ordering and shipping was a breeze. I live in the U.S. and, amidst the Coronavirus, the product shipped fast.

I highly recommend Giesswein for both their customer service and their product. I was hesitant to switch brands of slippers from an orthotic brand I've used for years, but I'm so happy I did. The Veitsch slipper is supportive, comfortable, good looking, and is very breathable. The rubber sole is awesome; it's flexible and isn't slippery on surfaces, and is sturdy enough to wear outside.
