I never got it so I've optimized them several times and they refuse to take it off my credit report

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND DEALING WITH SCAMMERS LIKE GETTINGTON OR ANY OF THE OTHER 12 DBAs they go by.
They put your personal information at risk by sending you that 1990 catalog

My account was closed for no reason without my knowledge. I was getting ready to make an order, but found out that the account was closed without any notification or any phone call. Terrible way to conduct business. Worst of it all, I can't reapply for a credit application through Gettington. This is not the way to treat your valuable customers that have done great business with you in the past. Gettington needs to be investigated on how they conduct business with dealing with their customers going forward.

Never received a jacket i ordered 3 weeks ago for Xmas gift. Called customer service three times. I have to go through so much to try to solve. There still trying to charge me. The worst policy I've ever heard of.

They have the worse made products and don't stand by their product. If you have a return you have to pay to return and they decide weather it's returnable after u pay for shipping then send it back or throw it away with no credit to your acct. Their customer support is horrible. They don't care about their customers. I gave them one star only because I had to.

Stay away from this company, I am reporting them for unauthorized activity using my bank account. Two Transactions were done, one for $685.50 and other for $500 and are already cleared from my bank account. This is the second time they tried to mess up with my finances. I am wonder how many people they are stealing using bank accounts. I am reporting this activity.

They closed my account because I have yet to order. It's not my fault they didnt have my size for the item I wanted. And then they said they not accepting reinstatement or new credit applications. Sounds like financial trouble for them.

I have had an account with Gettington for quite a while. During Covid I have not utilized it. I do not have a balance, and I have NEVER made a late payment. They closed my account "due to inactivity" and they sent me a note saying I can use other forms of credit to purchase from them. No. If this is the way they treat good customers I'd hate to see how they treat bad ones. I won't be doing business with them again.

I initially opened an account with Gettington to help further build up my credit. For five (5) years I ordered items here or there, and always paid the balance off within 30 days. Got my credit score up to a 775. This week my score took a 25 point hit. After investigating why, I discovered that Gettington closed my account (without warning to me), causing my available credit to drop by $1500 and my credit utilization to rocket to over 30%. My average age of credit also suffered because this was my 3rd oldest open account. They penalized me for being a responsible consumer by not ordering their overpriced items unnecessarily during an economic downturn. You heard me right. My reward for being a loyal customer for 5 years, with not one late or missed payment, not one bit of drama, by kicking me in the nads for no reason! Forget you too, Gettington / Webbank / Fingerhut!

Beware! This company has a habit of closing accounts without your knowledge while affecting your credit history. They do not stand by the products they sell. They are overpriced by up to 2x the value on some items. Supervisor VIC employee number 410 is un help and made an excuse for another person named ALAN who contradicted another employee named Alexa. I waited two weeks for them to fix the issue on my account only to here lies being spun. Also… I believe the supervisor VIC and ALAN were the same person I spoke to and all they did was lie to me. They have lost my business and trust.

Who do you think you are? First I will say applying for this card was a mistake on my part. For not realizing it was a catalog store like the dinosaur shopping catalogs. I decide to take a stroll through the ads after credit acceptance and was shocked at the high retail costs of the merchandise. Even the quote on quote SALES left me in shock. So to this day I haven't seen one item that even desired me to whip out the card and yell CHARGE IT! So time goes by and I get an email from my security advisors that the account has been closed, which creates a negative impact on my credit score. How dare you do such a dastardly act! First of all, you can take the individual who is closing accounts and give them a new position called CUSTOMER RELATIONS! Here is a great idea corporate world, get in contact with your customers if they are not using their account as, why? So my question to you is since your not my guardian, POA, executor, or spouse. Then who associated with Gettington/WebBank is going to handle getting this account closure off my credit report and list it as inactive. I look forward to your response.

If you're looking to build credit, beware! Unless you purchase from them with some frequency, they will close your account and that will affect your credit score. They wont tell you they are closing you, nor do they state up front this may happen. I had a 0 balance and they closed me because of inactivity. Not because I was behind on payments. So avoid them unless you plan to use them frequently.

Shipping is ridiculous! But you can get free shipping codes. The thing that is highly irritating to me is that just because I didn't make a purchase for a few months, during a pandemic I might add, they closed my account and reported it to all 3 credit bureaus that "account closed at credit grantor request" so the credit bureaus take that as it being closed for non payment and put it as a derogatory mark on my credit. I called Gettington to see if they would please report a different reason since the account was paid off months before they closed it and to find out why they closed it without notification to me before hand. The woman told me they close all accounts that go more than 3 months with no purchase history and that I should have bought something and there is nothing they can do about how it is reported to the credit. I will never do business with this company or any other company that is sponsored by WebBank……I'm fixing to close my Fingerhut account now!!

I guess being laid off and smart enough to keep a zero balance and not run yourself into credit problems isn't good enough for webbank. I wish i could say what i'm thinking, but then this review would never make it to publishing.

I loved Sahalie and used to buy their clothes before they became part of Gettington. I still love their clothing, but Gettington's shipping prices are too high. I was going to place an order this morning, but they want nearly as much for shipping as the cost of the items. I probably won't buy from them again.

This is my least favorite company. They don鈥檛 have much to choose from and they are so annoying! They will start calling my house 4 days before my payment is due. I have my payment set up in my banking account to sent the day before it鈥檚 due. As soon as I get them paid off I鈥檓 closing that account!!

I had been Gettington customer for years, Had a credit limit for almost 4,000, I paid my bills on time, last month I got an alert that my credit line with them was dropped to $ 1,500.00 due to inactivity, this is BS, they shouldn't do that, I understand if I don't pay my balance on time, it is fine but, in this case was not, plus these are hard times who wants to spend money on here??
That is not the way to treat good credit card holders. I won't buy nothing from them anymore…

I purchased a travel bag from the a year ago and as I was making my first payment on the item I realized that I had made a double payment on the item. I asked for 1 of the 2 payments to be refunded. It was but from then on they keep claiming my account is past due. With the payments I have made since the bag has been more than paid for and I have until recently been paying late fees on my account because of this and those fees are unjustified.

I called their customer service who asked me to fax in bank records of this error which I did to their back office as they put it. A place where they could give me no names of anyone who would see this fax and take care of my account at all and the late fees have continually been assessed. I even paid a double payment on purpose just to try to settle the matter and still this continues.Again they claim both payments were refunded and I have sent proof that only one was and their customer service was of no help at all with no names or contacts to give me regarding this horrible situation.

I hadn't even had this account for a year and they closed it without informing me due to non activity, 6 months of which were during COVID 19 pandemic when I had no extra money to spend! I will NOT reopen this account EVER! Meaning the company lost a potential future customer forever. Their loss…

I ordered an item from Gettington, they sent me an email saying it was on backorder, with an estimated ship date. That date came and went, I emailed them, they sent me a new estimated ship date, that day came and went. I logged in to check the status, they canceled the order without even notifying me that they would not be able to get it at all. That is very poor business practice, and they have just lost a customer.

I wished I could click no star but I am not given the chance. I bought a laptop for my 10 year old son for Xmas gift. I gave the laptop to my son on and the laptop stopped working within a week. I contacted them and the staff said that they will send me a label so that I can mail the laptop back. They are refusing to send the label and I have insurance through assurion and the insurance is not willing to replace the laptop. I have contacting both assurion and Gettington n, but no luck so I am going to repair the laptop

I wished I can give you zero star. I bought a laptop from this agency and the laptop did not work for 2 days. I bought the laptop with insurance n December 6th gave it to my son on January 1st and by January 22nd. I have been calling them and they have been playing games with me. They don't repair or replace the laptop

Lousy customer service! They are rude and don鈥檛 help. I miss Sahalie and went to place an order , $75 worth of product and $44 shipping and handling. MORE than 50% shipping and handling charge! While I thought it must be a mistake, I was informed it was not. So obviously I didn鈥檛 place my order and I never will!
