I have unsubscribed multiple times to the list. I have blocked emails. Yet, I keep getting their cheerful "Try us" emails.

No way would I ever use or recommend this company as they'd likely embarrass you with their slimy tactics. Do you want you or your business to be associated with spammers?

as others said this is just a company that started spamming my clients out of nowhere. They spam my client inbox almost daily and hard to remove them.

Just a company that started spamming us out of nowhere.
They didnt even bother correcting their mails. Sender says "Joanna from Iloveriver.com" and inside the mail its Asia Zukowska.

No way to change and protect your account password. Zero customer service.
No invoicing. No nothing.
I have emailed multiple times and revived nothing in return. I have made attempts to contact them via Twitter and nothing.

i have just started my free trial and not impressed. Nothing they come up with is even close to the area of my instagram account. The only page that has anything to do with my target area is suggesting I like my own page. I will give it the 2 day trial but I see that it is not worth paying for. I am sure that they will say something about there suggestions come from instagram algorithms. I run a fishing guid service and everything they come up with is clothing, fashion or dogs and cats. I do not see that Instagrams algorithms link my content to any of these.

Really all this did was mess up my statistics and my real numbers. False data that did not do anything to help me.

1. This "company" has been emailing 8 of my public facing email addresses, which are only found on contact pages and web forms.

2. This "company" has been emailing 40 of my spam traps, which are only accessible to bots that know how to find stuff that shouldn't be found by humans.

3. This "company" has ignored all unsubscribe requests.

4. Their "Unsubscribe" button does not work, because it will accept any, and every email address you submit to it and say it has been unsubscribed.

–> getriver.com / unsubscribe

Sorry for bypassing URL filters. This is important.

5. The 3 test emails I have submitted to the "Unsubscribe" list which have never been disclosed to anyone else, or publicly, have started to receive regular marketing notices to buy Get River services.

Draw your own conclusion. This fake company with fake people is terrible, and everyone should avoid at all costs. See other reviews from folks that have been brutally spammed.

Do you want marketing services? Don't trust any marketer that relies on spamming techniques to promote their own business. Spamming is easy. Real marketing talent is not.

Whatever the in between of less than okay but not terrible is, they are it. Pros (2): 1. gain TONS of likes for posts, 2. increases engagement percentage so that you are considered by other companies to become a paid brand ambassador.

Cons (4): 1. LIKES is the only thing you really gain. You gain following but they ALL unfollow you after a few hours NO matter if you follow them back or not. 2. Its 29 USD a week for a basic service. Their monthly plan is 99 USD a month. NOT WORTH IT. Typical 99 USD a month services have an actual human managing your account, increasing engagement, likes, AND following permanently. 3. Lots of BOTS. 40 percent Bots, 60 percent real people who will unfollow you later. I wouldnt use it. 4. If you pay with the weekly option, sometimes they'll charge a day or two ahead of the week mark

They're nothing but scam artists. They got hold of my email and have spammed it for months. I don't even use instagram. I finally figured out that I could set up a filter to have gmail automatically delete their emails. Thank goodness, because it's dangerous to click "unsubscribe" from this kind of company. Legitimate companies will unsubscribe you. GetRiver will spam you more after you clicked unsubscribe because they know that they've successfully reached you and you are in their evil clutches. Stay away at all costs! (Even if you actually want instagram followers, don't give them a cent.)

I have received countless emails from this company always trying to con me into taking on their services even though I keep unsubscribing from their mail list. I don't want to pay for a service through IG but they don't take the hint or even a direct email.

We have received spam from them for MONTHS, sent to an address that is not published anywhere online, except in the HTML source code of a contact form – so they are either buying EMail lists intended for spamming, or they're scraping websites for EMail addresses themselves. Regardless, this means that they are sending commercial email marketing to addresses that have not consent to receive them – in blatant violation of this country's anti-spam laws (without even so much as ATTEMPTING to comply with anti-spam laws).

They also have continually ignored all requests to stop their spamming, which we have sent both in response to their spam EMails & publicly via Twitter. They also appear to use standard spammer tactics of sending their spam from multiple different domain names, to evade filters (I've received spam from river[dot]com, getriver[dot]com, Gainstriver[dot]com, riverify[dot]com, Qualityriver[dot]com, Rivergroups[dot]com, Instantriver[dot]com, Onlyriver[dot]com, etc). And suffice it to say, it's probably NOT a good idea to get marketing services from a company that violates federal laws for their OWN marketing – they likely use the same unethical practices (or worse) to market their customers, meaning it's their customers who will be stuck with liability for that, not them.

I would give them 0 stars if that were possible. We have reported them to the appropriate authorities for violation of federal anti-spam laws – and will continue to report them as long as they continue illegally spamming us. If you're also located in Canada and have been receiving spam from them, then I'd recommend doing the same (google "CRTC how to report spam").

The worst service ever!!!
Don鈥檛 sign up with them! They can鈥檛 keep up with Instagram limits and you end up being banned for using too many likes during the day.

After the big change introduced by Instagram last year October, the number of likes dropped by half. When confronted River, they advised that it鈥檚 not their fault and sadly there鈥檚 nothing they can do. Excuse me? Charging a fortune for a handful of likes??

Now their system keeps on logging me out. I haven鈥檛 had any activity on my account for over 48 hrs and they won鈥檛 compensate. Like this is normal?!

I will raise this with my bank and will get the refund this way, because they won鈥檛 even compensate if you want to cancel early.

I am on the first day of trial. I want to cancel but there is no option. There are fake email addresses listed on the website that do not work. I am getting mass bot likes on my photos by the hundreds that we do not want. I have changed my instagram password probably about 10 times now and they keep getting into my account still. How is this possible??? Mass liking my photos is not gaining genuine followers, in fact I have lost followers. PLEASE STOP MY TRIAL!

I have NEVER signed up for a subscription with this company, I have NEVER requested information & had NEVER even heard of them until they started spamming our email. We've been getting emails for months now from a variety of domain names: Gainstriver.com, Instantriver.com, Qualityriver.com, Rivergroups.com, Riverify.com, Superiver.com, Ultrariver.com and Riverstatic.com

"Asia Zukowska" – you are annoying and have absolutely no credibility what-so-ever.

I can not believe that they are doing this to my account. I am a real person with a real business. This is an honest review. Don't subscribe to them.

I am not happy with their service so I wanted to stop it but the cancel button on their site doesn't work. So I started emailing them about cancellation request several months ago.
I sent so many emails to cancel the service because it didn't work for me. they have been following too many and really weird accounts on Instagram. But they kept ignoring my cancellation requests and kept charging so I called my credit card company to stop the payment. It was blocked but River has its own tricky way to get away with charging your credit card even with the block.

So now I'm stuck. It's really bad what they are doing here. My credit card company said they will dispute but if River doesn't respond to this request there is nothing I can do but keep giving them money 99 dollars every month. You can't cancel because they don't respond. you can't block charges because they keep changing their ID on credit charge and you can't get money back because they will simply ignore and take your money. this system is really shady and I can't believe they can get away from them.

Spammers and a ripoff company. There is no way to get off their lists. They also spam from quality river dot com. Their spamming practices alone tells you to stay away from these scammers.

If you EVER get a message from this "Asia Zukowska" woman she is not real, is a spammer, and likely a scammer. You cannot get yourself off their list 鈥?even though you will never sign up because they buy lists.

In fact, their address "180 Sansome St., San Francisco, CA 94104, USA" is a place that you can rent office space by the hour.

STAY AWAY THEY ARE NOT GOOD/REPUTABLE!!

I've been getting countless spam mails to signup for their site, i've warned them several times that i will go to an instance to sue them if they continue to send me spam mail since i've clearly stated i don't want anything to do with their services. And i'll state it again here. Next time one of your super annoying spam mails goes into my mailbox i will make sure you'll have to shut down your bussiness (if it's even legitimate). My advice to anyone looking into this bussiness, if a bussiness sends emails without you being registered they're usually scam just like this one.

I can't even be bothered explaining how rubbish this service is. If you are dumb enough (like I was) to read what their users say about them and still sign up, then you deserve what you get.
