Absolutely the worst customer service when solving disputes, has been going for 6 months and lost more money for stuffing up disputed transactions with other companies and not taking responsibility for their error. Customer service is useless and doesn't know what to do and claim they have solved the problems but never has. I have had to chase up this bank multiple times and still these problems have not been resolved. Been put on hold and talked to over 10 different people on the phone in one sitting as they just pass me on to different people.

Where the hell is my money combank??? where is it?

Needing to call this bank over the past few weeks has cost me almost one day in time to make 3 phone calls. One time after waiting 80 mins l had to hang up. They pride themselves on their service team being in Australia while they keep you waiting for hours on end. Much prefer a quicker service from a Phillipines call centre!!! Their customer service is disgusting. I鈥檓 leaving this bank! Their interest rate is not at all competitive and they are liars. World most lousy bank

I normally bank at a different Commonwealth Bank branch, and my visits are seamless and uneventful as one would expect from banking.

On this one occasion, I visited the Corrimal branch, where I was confronted by an older and overzealous woman, holding an iPad, who intercepts me at the door.

She instructed me to use the inside, automatic teller instead of a personal teller and I explained how this would not suffice my banking needs. The lady continued to insist and poorly advise me upon using the automatic teller. She refused to listen so I continued with her prompts on how I must bank automatically, which resulted in an error, that complicated the matter further, delayed me time and resulted in visiting the personal teller regardless.

Who is this lady? What is her purpose?

CommBank is deceiving their customers claiming they have great COVID19 support packages but the fact is, nothing other than marketing. Their support package towards credit card is hammering rather than supporting. They offered to defer payments for 2 months, which will also accumulate for customers to pay it back towards the end, along with reducing interest to 9% during the deferral period. Nonsense
Majority of the banks have suspended interest and payments for 3 months, this is what I classify as great support.
CommBank kept telling me to go for the available package (better than nothing). I refused to support their statistics as I鈥檓 sure they will promote themselves as a proud bank who helped that many customers during COVID19

In the cold weather the security guard made me wait outside the bank for more than half an hour with my toddler and two teen children. They would not allow me in because of coronavirus measures as only I could get in but now two of us not even my toddler. The branch is small but not crowded and they kept allowing singular adults in. After a long time I went in and a woman Tarun took my case to find out why my name is not attached to my sons Dollarmites account and she said only my son can see his account not me etc and I couldn鈥檛 verify him cos I forgot to bring his change of name document and his passport has just expired so it鈥檚 invalid so I said ok let close his account and she did so but conveniently transferred his money to the anz bank account number and typed in one digit wrong and did not give me a receipt
For the transaction so fast forward one day I called them and was put on hold
To various departments and in the end they said I have to go back to that horrible
Branch again to rectify a mistake that I did not make and after a miserable experience wasting my time for two hours at the branch now I have to go back again ? Please do not open any accounts or have anything to do with commbank Unless you want to be pushed around and treated rudely likeThe Banks in third
World countries. Btw I was at westpac earlier and they were so friendly and even though they had social distancing etc they didn鈥檛 leave young kids in the cold waiting and they were friendly and quick thumbs up to westpac.

About a month ago I put an application in to change my home loan interest rate to a lower rate. A month later still no change. I have been on the phone so many times for hours, gone to the local branch, and spoken to my customer relations officer who keeps telling me she can't help. Not sure what to do. It seems to me that while the bank does advertise on their website that they are offering lower rates to their customers during this pandemic, they are not actually doing so. They continue to charge customers at the higher interest rate on the pretext that the application is being processed. Their excuse is that there are too many applications to be processed, if that is the case why they are not hiring more staff or giving their relationship officers and local bank managers authority to make the changes? Looks like false advertising 🙁

CBA Niddrie Melbourne best ever friendly staff. I have been dealing with NAB which are absolutely disgraceful not the actual branch but the call centre I went into CBA the staff are so friendly I walked out with a smile.
I will try a few more times if they are good I am transferring my account to CBA.
The only bad thing about the CBA is you can only have two credit cards per account that is disgraceful, please fix that up that is no good. Besides that 10 out of 10

Dont trust them this is the bank criminals in suits that conns the erderly especially the sick under duress into unlock senior equity loans ( reverse mortgages) knowing they cant pay it back then they take their homes this bank cannot be trusted stay away from them they have destroyed thousands of families with many taking their own lives. It looks like the royal commission taught them nothing.Head to smaller lenders stay away from the Commonwealth bank they are dishonest and couldn't care less about you but i assure you im going to be your worst nightmare thats never going to go away im what nightmares are made of.

It's never a good time to call 132221. Each time I have called this number I have waited on average 45 minuets – absolutely appalling for a big bank – hire more staff to address peoples concerns!! My last call – i waited in line for 31 minutes only to be hung up on. Obviously didn't want to answer my call at 7.30pm. Once my home loan is able to be moved I would be looking elsewhere.

A good internet banking site and app. Branch is between ok and good, at least people give you the impression they are trying to help and be nice. One experience was pretty nasty at Waurn Ponds about 3 or 4 years. He literally treated me like I was disgusting. He didn't want me to put money on my card, and I bet he wanted to say to me, 'Are you still here? Can't you take a hint?'. I felt like saying 'Don't listen to the voices in your head! Don't trust the voices!!!'

It's ridiculous that a bank that makes so much money makes you wait more than half an hour on the phone before answering your call.
