Comfort Inn Virginia Horse Center

Very Family Friendly! Great price (I'd wait until the day of if you're traveling through for the night because you can't beat the price for the quality of service)! First off the staff is super accommodating and friendly! The free breakfast is amazing, you actually get a hot breakfast (fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage with a sausage gravy) toast, croissants, bagels, yogurts, cereals, juices and milk, peanut butter packets, jelly's, Nutella, etc a very nice variety! The bedroom was cool and clean and smelt taken care of!! Best sleep after driving for 12hrs. Parking was wide enough for a pickup truck towing a car and we felt safe and secure! compared to the motel 6 we stayed at the night before which was horrendous and scary!
I would totally stay here again.!

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. Very clean. Housekeeping does a great job. Plentiful hot breakfast. Lots of items to choose from. Beds are very comfortable. Loved this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

My aunt and I stayed at the Comfort Inn while attending an event at the Virginia Horse Center. The Comfort Inn was VERY convenient as far as proximity to the Horse Center goes, there are two or three hotels located a bit closer, but the distance isn't enough to be worth the increased cost of the other hotels.

The Comfort Inn staff were all very friendly and pleasant, more so than many hotels I've stayed at and I would say that was what stood out about out about our stay.

The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of pillows!

The complimentary breakfast was okay, not stellar, but certainly adequate. The staff again was friendly and attentive.

I would recommend the Comfort Inn for anyone staying in Lexington. It's a good value, comfortable and the staff made our stay enjoyable. If we're down at the Horse Center again, we will be staying at the Comfort Inn for sure.

My husband and I blocked a set of rooms at the Comfort Inn for our wedding. I personally did not stay in this hotel, but visited several guests the night before.

The hotel itself looks like it could use an update (carpet and furniture looks pretty old). The room was clean and a good size. There was also a mini fridge, which was nice! Some of the other hotels located in Lexington do not have this feature.

The staff are very friendly and there is a small indoor pool. They offer a complimentary breakfast and are dog friendly. Parking is not an issue. They have their own private parking lot, which is a plus.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are having a wedding in Lexington and need rooms blocked. Comfort Inn staff kept my husband and I informed on our guest count and provided us with a list for our welcome bags!

I accidentally booked for next weekend instead of this weekend as I intended. Not only did the young lady behind the desk help me by canceling that reservation, but she got me a lower rate.

We were passing through Lexington on a road trip and booked a room for the night with the friendly front desk. It's a clean, no frills hotel that is pet friendly (we had our Maltese with us). There is a nice lawn on the property to walk Fido (but be sure to pick up after him). The free breakfast offered was standard, but included eggs and sausage. Great value hotel.

Tucked away from the noise, location was great. Room was good, clean and no funny smells. I would stay again and recommend.
Their free breakfast however was not very good. The eggs are fake and the sausage patty's seemed boiled? It was bad. The blueberry waffles were pretty good and the fruit. Trust me, you'd be better off to go out for breakfast. Over all stay was very good. Lots of pillows and plenty of towels AND a free rubber ducky which was a great surprise for my 2 year old grandson.

All in all this was a very nice place, free from any foul or musty smells.
… Inexpensive and low-frills but with great service and a polite and caring staff. The pool is small but the kids liked it.
Breakfast was satisfying and stayed open late. We'll definitely stay again.

Pros: This is a low-frills hotel but I found it to be very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and professional. It's also very convenient to downtown Lexington. There is a convenient breakfast offered in the mornings that is open for quite a long time (good for late sleeping teenagers).

Cons: We had some issues with our key not working. The indoor pool is rather small – but again it was well-maintained and a nice warm place on a cold day for the younger kids to play.

I'd certainly consider staying here again in the future.
