Shambles of customer service. Ordered code for 拢10 for sons Fortnite and when it was inputted was immediately told it had expired. CDkeys have had 3 weeks now to fix it and refund but still haven't. They've now asked me 3 times to take a photo of the error code which I've done and I'm still waiting. Dreadful. A once loyal customer will not be back

The key CDKeys.com sold us didn't work, and to this day we don't know the reason.

From the beginning the attitude from CDKeys support staff was pretty much: "We have your money, the code looks fine our end, we don't give a monkeys if you're still having problems or what they might be, go away and don't bother us." And you are literally blocked – CDKeys Support ceased to reply to me, even after having been nothing but courteous and very patient with them from the beginning. I have the emails to prove it.

This situation to me is a bit like buying a car and a few days later having concerns about the tires or finding that the engine won't start, and the only response you get is "Unfortunately, according to us, the car was fine the day we sold it to you, so deal with it and go away."

From looking at other reviews online, if you're lucky and you don't have a problem with the code you get, it looks like you can get some good deals from them. However, if like me you do have a problem, expect support like I've outlined: tough luck if you've paid for something that doesn't work, you're on your own. Because as we've experienced, CDKeys does not care what the customer experience actually is. All CDKeys cares about it seems, is that they have your money.

I'm sorry, but to me the heart of this way of doing business is rotten to the core. Handing over cash to CDKeys is clearly a lottery, one that we refuse to partake in, and they will not be getting our business again.

To try and end on a helpful note, here's what I think good customer service looks like, and I hold CDKeys responsible because I am one of their customers: we have paid them to be able to use a game, and we can't download it, and they've kept our money:

1. Responsibility should not begin and end with the alleged (we only have their word for it) suitability of a cypher that's been sold. We have paid to be able to use a game, a gift for me, and I can't download it. The technology you've chosen to facilitate that objective along with its validity is neither here nor there, because it doesn't solve the problem; I still cannot download the game we paid you for.

2. Being helpful instead of dismissive. You've taken our money, you claim everything is fine your end, and therefore that's the end of the story? You stop replying to me? Really? Well everything is not fine: I cannot use the code you sold me for the stated purpose.

3. Go the extra mile. If technical issues might be a cause, I'd expect helpful advice on how to solve them. Not silence. If it looks like a third party might be responsible (like a game site hosting a download and where a key must be redeemed), I'd expect at least some rudimentary knowledge of that third party's systems, again coupled with expert advice on what to try to solve the problem, or to be directed to the relevant persons, after all you are partnering with them to achieve your sales. I don't expect silence.

4. Not being left with the feeling that we've been robbed. And of a Christmas present no less. I have no problem with CDKeys concluding internally that the problem may lie elsewhere, but I do mind when those actions leave us feeling this way, and that we are well and truly on our own with seemingly no recourse. Is piracy too strong a word? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

5. I don't think it should be too much to ask any Support department for help in identifying the cause of a problem, but with CDKeys, it seems to be. I have no idea why the code they sold us doesn't work, and they've not helped me at all in trying to find the cause. And as a paying customer, I really feel it should be their responsibility and not ours to get to the bottom of the matter and provide a solution, not slam the door shut and leave us hanging out to dry.

I bought an expansion pack for my son. It was fake and did not work. They told me it was fine. It has been a horrid day, my son is very down losing his pocket money. Avoid. Stolen money and poor customer service.

Bought a PS Now subscription. They said it was legit and was valid the day I purchased it. It was not, it was already used 2months in advanced (confirmed by PlayStation support themselves). Customer service was non existent and unhelpful, claiming it would take 3 days to respond with resolution… Still no response or resolution after 8 days.

I've had nothing but issues with this website.
I purchased FIFA points, 拢71.99 worth. They have not went onto my account, all proof of that has been sent through to them. They do not care a jot.
They also have a "promotion" for Cdkoins that build up like clubcard points. Biggest difference between the two though is you can actually spend your clubcard points.

In summary, they dont give you the productions you buy and when you complain they tell you there is nothing they can do and their promotions are fake.

Stay away at any cost!

I used to use cdkeys and had no problems till now. I recently tried to purchase Cyberpunk 2077. Anytime I added it to my cart and clicked on "secure checkout" it asked me to log in… after I already logged in. After I would log in again it would tell me my cart was empty. I rinsed and repeated about 10 times before giving up. This site sucks.

Great prices and very easy to use, i had just bought multiple codes from these people and they all worked perfectly fine and the codes came almost instantly and with a backup code sent to my email just incase of any issues, DONT worry about the bad reviews on this website, it should just work perfectly fine and if not then im pretty sure they fixed the bugs with customer support so they should be able to help sort any problems with your order.

I bought a 12 month PS Plus subscription from them but when I entered the key, it had already been used. I contacted their support and sent screenshots etc. but got nothing except "sorry for the delay". After 4 weeks I got PayPal involved but it's not covered by their Payment Protection scheme, so I've lost 拢42.

Buy keys from reputable retailers and avoid these scammers!

Never had a problem with CDkeys until the last purchase i made on the 27th Sept they took my money on that day i did not recieve the code i emailed them it took 4 days for them to answer back and told me i had to wait 72 hours for a refund its now been 4 days and stil no refund. Do not use these people, i would sooner pay more and guarantee i recieve the item i pay for. So be warned

Take my advise and do not purchase anything from CDKeys.com. I paid for a game which I bought from them 2 weeks ago. I tried to contact cdkeys.com support, and still no game code, no money back, no answer on my emails. All positive reviews on Trustpilot are made by hired troll farm/s to cover very bad reputation and reviews… google be for you buy

Bought a birthday gift for an 11 year old and the code didn't work it kept saying already in use. Got that situated with PayPal (still being reviewed)
Long story short I must be a sucker because I purchased a cheaper game card and now it's saying Under Review and no customer service is available so that's 100$ gone fml

Someone fraudulently used my financial information to purchase from here. It could not have been any more obvious it was fraud as they made purchase and then immediately changed email for delivery. Company will not refund. They also don't want to give email up for security reasons so protects the thief just not me.

I purchased a game from the website with the region setting being "worldwide". Two exceptions were listed (US and Canada) so, as they did not apply to me, I felt safe to get the game from them.

The game did not work due to it being region locked which was confirmed by the company when I complained. I was refunded but, the advertising for that game, and likely others, is incorrect.

After repeated attempts by me to make contact with the company about this false advertising, My complaint and concerns have been ignored and, even now, The game is still be falsely advertised as having a "worldwide" region key.

Dishonest and untrstworthy.

Additional Info — CDKeys Support staff closed my open ticket addresssing the false advertising claim about the specific game I purchased (order No. 11367875897), Snowrunner on PC on the 22nd July, 2020. The ticket was closed with NO contact from the company, NO warning it would be closed or any contact in the slightest.

PS — I have chat scripts, screen shots and emails to back up everything I am saying about this company/issue.

If you like paying for something, not getting it, and not hearing from customer service after you complain, CDKeys is the site for you! When you place an order, their confirmation email says you just have to create an account and link the order. When you create the account using the exact same freaking email as your order and try to link the account, they'll tell you the email on the order doesn't match! When you email customer service, you get a standard form letter response that solves nothing, then you don't hear from them for days.

Terrible experience after purchasing RAGE 2 PC (ASIA) + DLC. Received the wrong key. After using the key on Bethesda.net Launcher an error is received mentioning that the key is invalid. It is clear that they are selling fake/used cdkeys.
Did get in touch with customer service who acknowledged the issue but did not provide any assistance. They mentioned that it would take 10 days to decide whether the case was eligible for a refund. I have not heard from them since. Ticker number that was logged with CDKeys '2974965'

If you are planning to buy the game code from this website, make sure you use it within 7 days of your purchase.
I bought two codes as there was a deal going on, thinking I will use it later. But later when I tried to use it, it did not work
I asked the support desk and they told me to contact Microsoft, and MS confirmed that my code is being used by some other account other than me.
They asked CDkeys to contact if they need more information. I went back to the support and they said even though we asked you to contact Microsoft but we also have 7 days non refund policy.

It felt more like I was screwed and was asked to resolve it my self and then CDkeys had the trump card of 7 days policy.

Never buying again!

HORRIBLE! Bought a key for GTA5 PC. Never received the game. When I put the code in it says code already in use! Emailed them and they said there's nothing they can do and if I want I can get in touch with Rockstar. I didn't buy it from Rockstar! They refuse to help me in any capacity. I even provided them with proof that I don't actually have the game and the error message using the code they sent me. HORRIBLE company. Be very very careful if you choose to give them your money. You're taking a huge gamble.

I purchased legitimate keys from CDKeys.com that worked as intended. However, they charged me an extra 26 cents that was not authorized and was not explained.

While this is a ridiculously insignificant amount, when I questioned the charge I was advised that my bank must have charged me a fee as it wasn't them. I knew this was not true but I checked with my bank just to be certain. The bank confirmed my belief that they didn't charge me anything and when I followed up with CDKeys.com to let them know my bank doesn't charge random, unexplained fees, they promptly stopped replying to me.

While this isn't a huge deal financially, it's still upsetting that they can get away with this and makes me wonder if they're charging a bunch of people extra fees? I mean, it eventually adds up for them.

I had made a purchase for my grandson only to find out what we ordered was not the right one for his Xbox. So within five minutes I made a request for a refund. They sent an email saying they are reviewing this but that was a month ago. I have sent many emails and those crooks, thieves refuse to answer or give me a refund And I get no response from them I decided to go ahead and open the code to give to my grandson. Well guess what? I can't, they say it has expired. So now they took not only my money but the purchase as well! Do not deal with this company!
