CareerExcuse

I came to Career Excuses with a rather unique situation. Amey Lytle from the start was so helpful, kind, and understanding. It felt like a best friend helping you out and having your back rather than just a company providing service. I couldn't be more grateful for how attentive she is with her clients and fast responding, even while working long hours. I was highly impressed with her skills and ability to put the info together in such a short amount of time. Thank you! If you need any assistance for a good, professional, reference. This is your company. They will be there when you need them most like I did.

I should've read the reviews first. I'll be disputing with my bank. Just so everyone in the future knows it is one of the 3 valid reasons to dispute. They'll stop scamming if they stop making money. I encourage people to dispute immediately if they are not providing the resume service they were paid for.

I worked with Jennifer and William and they really helped me because I was already turned down for a position because of a past employer who harassed me and made me quit, so I could not put them as a reference. CareerExcuse gave me wonderful and glowing references they made me outshine the competition and I got the job! I am so happy!

Very quick and detailed response.

We received our QS report within a week.

Great turnaround as timing is everything when Tenders need to go out.

I have been a white collar plan member of Career Excuse for more than 1 year. I honestly can say this is a legitimate service and it does work. We all face hard times in our life due to sickness, layoffs, family emergencies. Well Career Excuse is the answer! I was laid off my job and denied unemployment compensation. Additionally, I had to explain employment gaps to perspective employers. I was running out of options until I found CareerExcuse. Thank you!

This company is disgusting! They take advantage of desperate people having a hard time but looking for work and are just scamming people. I am having a hard time getting work because I have not worked in so long due to the time I took off to care for my husband after a bad accident. Now my husband has recovered and has left me and this company has scammed me out of the little money I have and harassed me for a week robbing me of the little time I have to look for work before I lose my house.

If YOU are reading this review… let my past experience influence YOUR decision and consider it YOUR sign on what NOT to do. THIS [FAKE] service is a SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. Don't waste your time, effort(s), nor your hard earned money on considering it. JENNIFER HATTON, AMEY, WILLIAM, BILLY BOB or WHOEVER will just kindly and effectually sell their services and the MOMENT your funds are received……..CRICKETS. Not even subtle about it. lol Against my intuition and better judgement i tried it, and was burned. ($220) That said: I will do everything within my scope of ability, connections, and acumen to EXPOSE this fraudulent service and any other BOTS &sites that are connected to them. Please reference the text below. It is a snapshot of my convo with Jennifer (scammer) Notice the fluidity of our conversation then 5 min after payment she never responds again. If you need any additional insight, feel free to email my guy at [email protected] (He has more time/resources on his hand to fiddle with this so he's happy to educate you more on this). Consider yourself warned…Thank me later 🙂

I had been working as a consultant for the last 4 years. Most of the roles had been with private equity firms, which often prefer to keep the relationship with their portfolio companies discreet. I signed several confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements. Those agreements seemed innocuous at the time. However, when I sought to re-enter the corporate world, I quickly learned that the nondisclosure agreements also meant that I couldn't use those co-workers as references. In fact, some of the companies might pursue legal action if I disclosed that I had worked for them. A reference check is the final hurdle for most professional roles. Without references, there is no chance of getting hired. So, I was left in a precarious position.

That is where CareerExcuse came in. CareerExcuse created those missing references. My account rep, Jennifer Shanahan, carefully listened to my situation and made some suggestions. Then they got to work and the results are impressive. They created supervisors, companies (complete with a local address and phone number), and e-mail addresses. I still had to get through the interview rounds, but CareerExcuse meant that I wouldn鈥檛 lose the job when HR did the final verification. I stayed compliant with the nondisclosure contracts, but wasn鈥檛 locked out of a new career.

I believe that reference checks are a relic of the past. Your next job shouldn鈥檛 be dictated by whether you made friends in your last job. Each person鈥檚 career accomplishments should stand on their own merit. However, reference checks are still a part of the hiring process. CareerExcuse is a brilliant way to level the playing field for everyone. There is a long list of people who could benefit: Parents returning to work, professionals with a gap in their resume, people who have been out due to illness, or anyone who had a really bad boss in their last position.

I would highly recommend their service. They were responsive whenever I had any questions or anything else that required their attention. Jennifer and William were both professional and efficient. Especially if you are hesitant, it's always good to have a contingency plan if your plan A falls through.

I needed to make an emergency withdrawal from my 401k but they were only allowing for dire circumstances with proof. I reached out to Career Excuse and got them to provide a notice from a verifiable leasing office stating I was being evicted and it was just what I needed. I consider the price to be a little high but this is the only place I seen that can offer something like this.

I was initially pretty skeptical of what these guys could do, but after texting Amey, I was blown away by the results. A couple days ago, I only could imagine what I wanted my future career to be. Today, she showed me a flawless website and references that are rock solid. I was really impressed by what she put together in such a short amount of time. She was a pleasure to work with and I feel better about my future career than ever. 5.5!

Amey has been the best taking me through the process. In this day and age to have a business rep like Amey that responds to the text within 10 mins even on weekends is absolutely unheard of. Need a job and a patch to your resume, call Amey and she will set you up.

Needed a job reference, was thinking of having friends assist, but this new idea is done way more professionally. They even have phones numbers of the area codes that you want. If you need a job reference due to issues with former employers, CareerExcuse is the perfect site to go to for a job reference.

Needed a reference for my partner who already had put a deposit on a property. The company was hounding her for the reference or lose deposit and property..

Contacted Amy, and within a few hrs i was provided with all the reference details and website. Few hours after that… confirmation email from agency saying thanks and references had gone well.

Amy is very calming and definitely knowledgable and understanding having been in the role for so many yrs. she listens and takes care of attention to details, and makes sure every angle is covered. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is still not sure.

If you are looking for a job, but don't have a work history, CareerExcuse is for you. If you're looking for an apartment, but don't have a previous landlord history, CareerExcuse is for you. Everything needed to assist you in getting a job or an apartment, CareerExcuse has you covered. Their attention to detail is unmatched. Company name. Company domain. Company phone. Reference provider name. Reference provider email.Supervisors title. Ref provider ext., and so much more. It's life changing. They have real people on call to handle and verify your affairs for you. Extremely professional. I don't write reviews. In this case, I had too. It saved my life. Thank you for reading my review. Paul Hunter

Amy is an expert and she'll counsel you on the best way to make use of this service. After doing this for a long time she's going to have a good idea of how you should present yourself, whether it's industry specific or just generally. I would take her advice. I really mean that; if you're smart, you'll take her advice. Getting people jobs is her job, and you can tell how good she is at it just by talking to her. She'll also explain how everything works, and you'll know exactly what to expect. She's given me the rundown on the whole operation and it's well organized. It's crazy well organized. I have a CDL and they even have a DOT Number to provide a reference for commercial driving jobs, that's INSANE! That alone should tell you how well put together this whole business is. She's done everything she's said she would do and more. Above, beyond, and in great detail.

I don't understand where the negative reviews are coming from. They sound absurd to me. This woman works well into the night. Ration this for me: She answers all of the incoming calls for potential clients and then does the job of the reference providers too. She can answer every text and email you send her the moment you send it? Come on.. Somebody has never had a busy job. What do you want her primary objective to be? Yeah, that's right, answering the phone for you reference calls. Every time this has been the case she's let me know via text pretty much right away. Imagine a girl with the phone to her ear providing a stellar reference, with another phone in her hand texting you that she's on a call and she'll get back to you asap. And there's 20 of you.. All with unique needs and stories.. That's what's happening. She's not blowing anyone off. Scam my ass. After working in the trucking industry for so long, I know what it's like to be expected to be a machine that can do inhuman $#*!. AND! I know how pissed people get when the impossible turns out to be impossible.. I can see the irrational and unfounded butthurt in these negative reviews.

Let's say you land a job that pays 50k a year plus benefits.. The Blue Collar Plan is $150. Think about the economics there. Do you understand the value here? Are you going to be reasonable and work with this girl that works so hard to provide that for you? Or are you going to get your panties in a twist when she can't answer you immediately, and go trash her on the internet like a hoe?

I had kids young and chose to be a stay at home mom for several years effectively creating a big gap in my resume, and making me unappealing for practically any kind of job. Enter Amey professional, thorough in every capacity and without her help I would absolutely not have a job worth every dime and than some….

I was panicked when unable to locate a former boss and an offer depended on it and I couldn't provide a phone number. I had little to hope but filled out the online form, explained my problem and the urgency, Almost immediately Amey Lytle texted me asking if I'd like to make the appt sooner. She worked around my work schedule, called as soon as I could talk and I explained in total panic that I couldn't locate my boss and my duties and the company were very detailed and I didn't even have a phone number to.provide to the interviewer. Amey was remarkable! While I was talking about the problem, she listened intently, asked a few questions and compiled detailed notes. She was professional, calm and so understanding.. I paid a reasonable amount and within minutes she sent me a profile she created from what I said and a phone number. I was able to send the interviewer the phone number, and Amey arranged for William Schmidt, another incredible person to call the interviewer back the next day. William called me and reviewed details, listened patiently as I kept adding more info, gave an excellent reference and called me back to let me know. I had another issue with the person listed from my current company (former coworker) not calling back so Amey gave me a discounted rate and gave a reference herself after quickly absorbing even more detailed info about my company and job duties. The interviewer had detailed questions and Amey somehow answered all of them, gave a very professional and thorough reference, and I got an offer. I cannot say enough about her service; I know she was busy but both my situations were very urgent and she respected that, was fast and very thorough in getting the details, and was in constant communication with me. She made me feel like I was important and I can't remember ever getting such amazing customer service. And as I said, she picked up all the key points I made, typed them up and remembered everything when talking to this very detailed interviewer. It is so rare to get the privilege of such competent, fast, accurate service and have someone like Amey who also showed genuine compassion and kindness for my situation. I want to give Amey Lytle the absolute highest possible recommendation! This is an amazing company and I am so grateful to Amey!! She went so above and beyond and could not have been more pleasant!

I found them online while searching for resume help. Amey talked me through it, found out what I needed, and helped build the resume and provide references. I haven't started applying yet, so I'll post another review once I get hired somewhere to share how that all went, but so far, I'm pretty satisfied. The only bad thing I could say is that it took longer to get everything done than I expected, but they made up for it, so it's all good. They even put up a couple of websites to make everything look even more legit. Very friendly and professional too in my experience.

I needed a landlord reference for my a new place and I thankfully came across Career Excuse online. Amey has helped with this process so much, and has made everything so clear and straight-forward. It's been an amazing experience and I can't thank her enough. Career Excuse made the impossible possible with their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the same situation.
