I ordered books for xmas, long story short the items went on sale online, called the store and was told to order them again for sale price (online) and when the items would arrive i could return the ones that i paid more for. Took over a month for the items to arrive and then Indigo cancelled them and said out of stock. I called indigo to see if they would honor the sale price and basically told sorry you are past the 30 days. These were xmas gifts and very upset they are not honoring the sale price. Bad customer service

I received some gift cards from Indigo, so I've been using them to order books. Received emails saying when they would arrive. The items I ordered arrived in good time. Will use again

I ordered a book December 31 and it was instock. By January 19 it still hadn't shipped so I called customer service and was told it was in stock in another warehouse and so a message was sent to ship it. January 25 still not shipped and called back only to be told it is still sitting in the warehouse. If I hadn't called, there was no effort by Indigo to get the book shipped. Even with calling it is still sitting there and no real or clear answer as to why it hasn't shipped. This very poor online experience is what drives shoppers to Amazon. Shame on you Indigo for what is beyond $#*!ty online service!

My items shipped out the day after I ordered them, and they got delivered 10 days later in great condition. Very fast and got email updates throughout. Really refreshing in these times to get something so quickly.

I ordered bunch of things from indigo during christmas time, everything was good quality so nothing to say about their products but the problem is they make business with Tforce for deliveries, I never saw a company like that, they created fake delivery attempt, which it's not true I'm working from home, the delay is always so long, tracking number always says exception delay delivery.
I don't know why indigo still doing business with them. I saw the reviews from this company and most of the reviews was like mine, nobody have good experience with Tforce. So if you ordered from indigo keep that in mind

I ordered 4 beautiful candles from Indigo. They were wrapped in gorgeous bags upon arrival. They also smelled so fragrant & nice. I opened one of them and it was broken upon arrival. I went to the Customer Service website & I was able to get in touch with a live assistant almost immediately. He was so helpful & they offered me a choice of either a refund or replacement item, free of charge. I asked for the replacement item. The customer service agent was friendly, efficient, & professional. I will absolutely order more online products & continue to be a customer at Indigo.

I purchased a gift card for a family member on December 23. We realized right away that it was misdirected and I spoke to a customer service agent who assured me that the order was recalled and resent properly – while I was on the phone.
However, my family member indicated that they had not received anything. I spoke to another agent who told me that the first information had been incorrect and that I needed to buy another one to ensure that it went immediately. They would send me a refund in 7-10 business days.
Today, January 12, I called again to inquire and was told that they were busy and that it would likely be another 7-10 days. I was advised that there was nothing I could do, no one further to speak to and I just needed to wait. The challenge here is that I was misinformed 2x, and then on the 3rd call told that this is the way it is. You have my money 2x (instantly I might add) and I need to wait, with no offer of compensation or real indication of understanding for poor service. I chose Indigo expressly as it is Canadian as opposed to Amazon. Looks like a poor choice.

Decided to buy books from Indigo instead of Amazon to give Indigo a chance.
Never. Again.
bought 5 books. few days later, 1 book got cancelled by them because no stock. then, 1 book got delayed for God knows how long. Other 3 books took about 3 weeks to arrive IN STORE for me to pick up.
I could have gotten all 5 books from Amazon and get it shipped to me in 2 days for about the same price.

Chapters Indigo has got to stop using Loomis to "deliver" their online books. My books arrived in Calgary on 16th December. It indicated that the books were outbound for delivery on 17th. The tracking showed the parcel going out 3 days and not being delivered, and then the following week 3 days indicating bad address and not delivered. I phoned and they had my address correctly and they said that the parcel would go out the following week. No parcel. So Loomis expects me to drive over 100km round trip to collect the parcel from its Calgary Depot. This is beyond stupid. We can get deliveries from every other delivery service, but not Loomis. I am not going to buy from Indigo online as it is a sham.

Extremely disappointed. I contacted them about a shipping address issue as soon as I got the confirmation email, but they took three days to write back, at which point the package had already shipped. There was still a good chance the delivery service would locate the destination anyway, so I waited a while, but two weeks later there was still no sign of successful delivery, so I鈥檓 trying to deal with the shipper now. Chapters/Indigo is not responding to any of my customer service inquiries. The shipper seems to want to charge me to redirect the package (and presumably to return it, if that鈥檚 what they end up doing). Never ordering from there again. Incidentally these were Xmas presents for my niece.

Hi, I ordered 2 books as a Christmas present for a friend who lives in another province. I thought I would bypass Amazon and go with a Canadian company. Books ordered on December 5. Lots of time right? Not so, the package finally arrived today (January 4) which seems like a bit too long, especially for a company that should have their act together for deliveries, considering how long they have been in business! All the updates that were sent to me indicated that everything was on track for December 23; until the date just changed at the last moment and that kind of looked to me like the items hadn't actually been shipped at all until after Christmas. It was also a bit annoying that every email to me called me "David"(who was the gift recipient) ; not "Sue" (me)! I like to think you can do better guys 🙂

Indigo winnipeg mb We had order 2 Christmas gift on December 6 the order went through. couple days later the order was canceled our money was refunded so we order somewhere else. than couple days later they took the money back said it was getting here December 23rd. Not only did they take money from us without our permission but now its January 3 our package is still not here !!! Says has been set to deliver Status since 23rd

Called Chapters December 28,2020 to see if I could pick up 2 books in store… the lady I spoke with said there's no in store shopping because of Covid-19. Because I live 20 minutes away I asked if they have curb side pick up and the lady said, yes but, I have to order on line and pay on line. I went onto the Website and ordered my books that were "In Store" and was told I could not receive curb side pick-up and had to wait for shipping. Because I live so close I ordered my books to be shipped thinking it wouldn't take long…! While tracking my shipment I'm told its going to take 10 days! I don't understand why we cannot order books that are in store and have curb side pick up. I won't be ordering books from Chapters EVER! Lost another customer!

This is the second year in a row that I did not receive my order before Christmas although promised to receive it a week ago. I will never order from Indigo again Luckily I ordered from Amazon 2 days ago & received my purchase this morning… can't do better than that.

I returned three items through Canada post which should have been free as it states on their website. But when my refunds were processed they had charged me 8 dollars plus tax for each of the items for shipping. First of all, I had to contact customer service to even process the refunds in the first place. But when the amounts were incorrect, I tried calling them again to ask what happened. The first person said oh it鈥檚 because I was charged shipping in the first place which didn鈥檛 make sense. I just wanted to be refunded the same amount I originally paid for them without them deducting 8 dollars plus tax for each of the item I returned. Second person I called said I was right and they would pass it on to their accounting department. It鈥檚 been 10 days and nothing. I didn鈥檛 get an email or any correspondence about this situation. So I called again to ask them what鈥檚 going on. This time I got the rudest customer service person on the planet!!! She tried cutting me off several times while I was trying to explain my situation. Upon looking at my account she said oh it鈥檚 because that鈥檚 the amount I originally paid that鈥檚 why it鈥檚 short. I kept telling her to please look closer as it鈥檚 in black and white on my account history what price I originally paid for and how much I was refunded. She refused to believe me until I said that I鈥檓 only checking the status of the refunds of the shipping cost and put me on hold. After she came back on the phone she was so rude. Told me not to keep calling as she鈥檚 dealing with three times the call volume these days and that they are working on it. How am I supposed to know that??? I also don鈥檛 want to keep calling. I just assume that when I return items to a business that they would process things correctly and in a timely manner. This shouldn鈥檛 be that hard to return items. Please be aware of my situation and probably try to return in the store so that you can avoid this whole nightmare.

I pre ordered a Billie Eilish book on October 1/2020 for my granddaughter for a Christmas gift. The book was released on December 11/2020 and. I was promised a delivery date of December 16/2020. When the book did not arrive I contacted Indigo online and was told… they were sorry and couldn't promise the book before the New Year due to the Christmas rush.
Last year they did the same thing to me.

Never again will I orderbooks from Indigo online.
From now on AmazonPrime or in store purchase only.
By the way I have checked in store at the Indigo stores near me and they havenoBillieEilish books at all.

My order from Chapters had two books that were on sale, one shipped – one didn't (shipper never got it from the seller). Order completed, card charged for two books. Support suggested to go to store and buy the book (at regular price, not sale price) to have it for Christmas. Not able to get the book from store against the actual order (sale price). I will not buy from Chapters ever again, not worth the hassle !

Ordered a gift on December 5 and delivery was expected on the 15th in London, ON. So far they have changed the date 4 times! Costumer services says they can鈥檛 do anything about that since it鈥檚 with their couriers, and that it might arrive after Christmas. Delivery company says the item is in Ottawa and they just don鈥檛 have enough drivers. I am NEVER ordering from Indigo online again!

I placed an online order for three books. They sent two of the three books in seperate packages and they arrived at different dates. My third book was still pending a month later. It was to be a Christmas book for my children but there was no hope of it arriving by Christmas. Do not order from them online. Horribly slow and inefficient. Also most books are out of stoc it seems. Awful, awful experience.
