It was our first trip to India. Through the hard work and expertise of Madeleine, Shiv and team (and special shout out to Sanjay our fabulous driver) we had a perfect first trip to Rajasthan. Madeleine was great in helping us put the itinerary together and to help us find the right mix of mid level and high end hotels and she had great suggestions on how long to stay in each location .The local tour guides she organised in each major city were excellent On reflection, there is nothing we would change. If we are able to visit India again we would definitely book with Madeleine and the team

What an amazing holiday! Indian Excursions took care of everything down to the smallest details. We initially feared that some of the extra excursions, such as the dinners and dance performances were going to be tourist traps, but they turned out to be some our most memorable times in India. Thank you for all the extra research it must have taken. Sanjay, our driver couldn't have been better. Thanks again for making our trip so incredible, we can't wait to come back.

I wouldn鈥檛 trust my travels in India to anyone else! Madeleine and her team took great care of us at every turn. Our driver, Dalget, was an absolute gem. Guides were knowledgeable, charming and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. A top notch tour company for sure!

We had an absolutely amazing tour. They took care of everything from the moment we arrived until they dropped us off at the airport. Our 24/7 driver was always there for us and made us feel safe as we explored the country. The guides were very knowledgable (almost to a fault).

The car was very comfortable and the hotels ranged from good to spectacular.

My daughter and I had a great time in India this time.
Everything was well organized and went smoothly. The driver was very good, he was well mannered, very patient especially while driving through crazily heavy traffic and two guides in Agra and Jaipur were very good as well. We enjoyed listleing Indian history and stories of palaces, mosques, etc… from them. The guide in Delhi was good but we thought he was less experience.
There was one thing we were not satisfied with was the hotel room we stayed in each place, they were either no good view or located on the first floor right by the pool.
But other than that our first trip to India was great and made a lot of good memories.

My wife and I spent 17 days in Rajasthan with Sanjay as our driver in November. Unless you鈥檙e prepared to spend months in India, getting around by yourself can be quite difficult. Finding someone to help organize it can take a leap of faith. From the moment of contacting Madeleine things went very smoothly as she seemed to intuitively understand what we wanted. The itinerary actually exceeded our expectations. From the time of arrival Shiv鈥檚 organization was faultless. The hotels, guides, connections, all worked seamlessly. We always felt safe in the car with Sanjay and he was able to make the travel time both interesting and enjoyable.
In terms of planning I鈥檇 recommend reading the experiences on the website as I found them to be both stimulating and very accurate descriptions. We absolutely loved the slightly off the track places of Churu, Nagaur, and Narlai.

This is the BEST way to visit India as an NRI (non resident indian born overseas) to give yourself and children a well organized, safe, clean and comfortable trip to India. Indian Excursions took care of everything and made the whole trip stress free which allowed our family to enjoy visiting our motherland after many years. They are very flexible, professional and detailed oriented. I am glad we went with them and would do it again!

From the very start of the planning process all through our special trip, Indian Excursions Co were consummate professionals. Madeleine was receptive to all our requests and put together a great itinerary. When an internal flight was cancelled just before we left home, there was no panic and alternatives were suggested in a calm and professional way. We felt totally confident. Shiv is a hands-on COO who maintained contact throughout. Hotel recommendations were spot on, driver and guides were great. Madeleine, Shiv and team made this trip a true celebration for us and we felt cared for every step of the way.

My wife and I recently made a trip to Rajasthan with our daughter for whom it was her first trip. Madeliene and Shiv made the all the necessary arrangements from before we landed in Delhi to when we departed from Delhi after two weeks.
Our driver Daljeet was also very flexible and reliable which made the two weeks of travel by car very comfortable.

My mum and I did a private tour with Indian Excursions Co at the end of October for two weeks which included Varansi and various parts of Rajasthan. We had the most brilliant time with so many special moments. Both Madeleine and Shiv were excellent with helping us to plan and co-ordinate our itinerary, and were great with their communication. The local reps and tour guides were always very knowledgable and helpful. Going from one place to another was smooth and hassle free. The hotels were lovely and we were made to feel very welcomed. I was going to be in India for a family wedding and decided to tour Rajasthan prior to the wedding. As a woman traveling alone, I had many questions and concerns. After researching many travel agencies/tour companies I chose Indian Excursions because of their overall professionalism (prompt and detailed responses to questions, organization and presentation of itinerary and travel materials, very individualized service, and reasonable pricing).

Maddie and Shiv, along with my tour guide and drivers made sure that my Rajasthan adventure was everything I had dreamt of. The hotels we chose were exceptional, within my budget, and provided unique experiences. At each hotel, my guide would accompany me to check-in and follow up to ensure that my luggage had arrived and my accommodations were okay. My daily itinerary was well prepared but flexible in case I wanted to add or remove something. Each day my driver had plenty of bottled water and snacks in the car. They even had sun shades in all my cars upon my request. While on my journey, I wanted to visit a hair salon so I emailed Maddie, who promptly engaged Shiv. We spoke briefly and before I knew it, he had made an appointment for me at the salon of my choice. The Indian Excursions team saw to every detail and made my trip effortless and exceptional.

From the moment we were met by Shiv at Delhi Airport to ten days later when we departed we experienced a delicious taste of India by this highly efficient Travel Company. Our Driver Madan kept us safe which was a miracle! The Itinerary suggested to us was just perfect and all the guides were expert on the cities we visited. This is company we would not hesitate to recommend to our family and friends – and we already have! Cannot fault their service and attention to detail!!

I travelled to Radjasthan with a woman friend, both of us in our 70s. In the first instance we had contacted a well known travel company in London who specialised in personalised tours. Then we heard about Indian Experiences from my daughter who had travelled with them earlier in the year.
Indian Experiences came up with an excellent itinerary which fitted in well with our plans and wishes. They put together the whole trip and were flexible to make any changes we required.
The organisation before our arrival was clear and comprehensive. From the moment of our arrival we were perfectly looked after by Shiv and the team. We had an excellent driver, extremely important in the very individual Indian driving conditions, and very competent, and pleasant English speaking guides. We were met at every new venue by an Indian Experiences rep. Everything was made easy for us, so we could enjoy our visit to the maximum.
Just a small example of Indian Excursions attention to detail. While at the Lake Palace in Udaipur, we opted to take the Sunset Lake Cruise. While all other hotel guests packed on to crowded launches, we had a boat to ourselves. It made us feel very special.

Very well organized Rajasthan tours. We stayed at the Taj Palace hotels in Jodhpur, Udaipur and Jaipur which were truly Five star in every sense-hotel amenities, rooms, restaurants and very friendly hotel staff. The Indian Excursion Company arranged our stay at these hotels along with airport transfer, visit to the cities, helpful guides and comfortable air-conditioned vehicles. People were very courteous, eager to help and willing to mould our trips according to our needs and desires.
The price was appropriate for the level of services provided and payment methods were convenient

I can honestly say we have had the best holiday ever. Your company were absolutely marvellous from start to finish and my husband and I cannot thank you and Shiv enough.
Everything ran seamlessly, and there were so many highlights, from walking with elephants, to the Amber Fort, to the Taj Mahal to spending time in a Sikh temple at such an important celebration for them and so much more.
The guides were superb and really helped us understand the different view points from all the religions and to give us all the history we could possibly want for the magnificent sites we saw.
I would also like to say the biggest thank you to Sandeep, our driver who just made everything stress free. It was a pleasure to spend our time in India with him so please pass on our huge thanks, we already miss him!

My husband and I have just returned from the most magnificent three week holiday in India.
Our tour was organised with Madeleine from Indian Excursions Company and from the very first email contact with Maddie she was friendly and professional in helping guide and advise us on our desired private tour and everything was perfect. We stayed at Oberoi and Taj hotels as well the Sujan Rajmahal Palace in Jaipur and Dev Shree in the coutryside between Jaipur and Udaipur. All of our accommodations were superb and beyond our expectations. Shiv greeted us on arrival and departure from Delhi and was courteous, professional and friendly, all the while being most helpful. Our drivers were wonderful, maintaining spotless cars and providing us with professional, courteous and friendly service, our favourite being Sanjay. Our guides likewise were friendly, helpful and professional in providing us with expert knowledge of their city/town. We could not recommend Indian Excursions Co highly enough, they are the best tour company we have ever used for our overseas travels and we have travelled the world! The western part of Rajasthan-Tour was our second tour with Indian excursions ! Once again we are more than happy having booked trough Madeleine and her team. We can highly recommend them.
They work extremely professional: the guest is a real king. Everything is perfectly planned and organised so that we could simply enjoy the tour.
Our tourbus was very comfortable and it had even a snack bar on board. Our driver brought as safely from one place to the other and he knew good places for coffee breaks or for having lunch.
Last but not least all suggested hotels were breathtaking – just like a dream!

Just finished a two week trip to Delhi , Agra . Jaipur and Mumbai . Everything organized by Indian Excursions to provide a seemless and memorable holiday . Have no reservation in recommending Them and will definitely be using Indian Excursion on our next visit to India .

What a fantastic vacation we have just had with our family (2 adults, 2 kids 10&11 yrs). Planned and executed wonderfully by Madeleine and Shiv. The Tour Schedule was well prepared and made in line with our discussions. The welcome at the airport on arrival, followed by the attention to detail to deliver tours and different hotel experiences during the vacation really impressed us.
We would have no hesitation in using Indian Excursions again and would recommend to friends.

We had the most amazing holiday with Indian Excursions and can recommend them wholeheartedly. From our initial contact, we were impressed with the friendliness and professionalism shown by Madeleine. We eventually set and paid for an itinerary but at a later date, I decided that Delhi wasn鈥檛 for me and Madeleine happily replanned the entire holiday to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted.
We visited Shimla, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra – all of which were amazing in their different ways. En route between Udaipur and Jaipur we were offered the choice of flying or staying in the countryside at a place called Dev Shree. This is such a wonderful place – as well as the place itself, the hospitality, food and excursions were incredible so this was one of the absolute highlights.
The planning of the holiday and its seamless execution, from being met at the airport to waved off there at the end, meant that we had no problems whatsoever. India can be a difficult place in many ways and we could not possibly have enjoyed it without the Indian Excursions team. The hotels chosen were incredible (and we were upgraded in several of them!) plus the guides were all very knowledgeable and we felt safe with our drivers, especially Prem who was great.
My husband chose this holiday and I freely admit to being reluctant to go, but our only regret is not making the holiday longer and staying for three nights in each location.

Maddie and Shiv were terrific tour designers and hosts and we had a great experience — both planning the trip with them and then actually living the magic of our Rajasthan adventure. Because we are seasoned travelers we discovered we didn't need quite as much guiding or hand-holding as many clients no doubt prefer, so we communicated that to Maddie and Shiv and they instantly made adjustments to fine-tune our experience.
