By the time their website actually started working, so I could activate the card, it had already begun to lose value. Needless to say, I think very poorly of this "service".

Having a Visa gift card with our company logo to give our employees is hardly worth it in the bad feelings they get if they forget to use the card before it starts reducing the balance by $4.95 per month after about seven months. At minimum, tell your employees that and remind them to use the card.
