Pretty good resource for public domain printed music. Saves a lot of money just being able to print off just what I need.

This website is a safe, reliable resource for LEGAL and free classical sheet music. All scores are in the PUBLIC DOMAIN and it is simply a website that categorizes countless scores and offers them for easy downloads. Additionally, it warns that copyright rules are different based on county, furthering its credibility.

One of the GREAT resources of the internet for classical music lovers. Thousands of scores that are in the public domain can be downloaded for free.

Very conservative regarding what is in the public domain, and they seem to prefer to err on the side of caution. It can be frustrating to find that a score that is in the public domain is barred from the site, but that is a minor gripe compared to the wealth of music freely available.

GREAT SITE.

A very useful community driven, public domain, music score library that makes music more accessible to everyone. A project much like Wikipedia, for music.

I love this wonderful open source sheet music project. So much older sheet music costs a lot of money but the composers are long dead. That seems wrong to me. The International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP) puts sheet music online and makes it available for free which is just lovely for the public. I read about all in this New York Times article International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP)

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

A good site for old orchestral scores that have fallen into public domain over the years. No problems whatsoever.
