Hi everyone I'd like to share my experience with this company. I ordered a carbon fiber hood for my car it takes 6 to 12 weeks to make it then longer to ship it. I also ordered the most simple thing rain guards for my car and takes 4 weeks to get it.if you don't want to wait for your parts for a really long time when you ordered a part don't come here they are the worst. I found that eBay had everything there I needed and cheaper I might add and got it sooner only a week. I'm still waiting for my hood for my car from this company getting close to cancel my order I hope this helps my fellow car guys and girls have a safe drive thanks

They are bad, I ordered an item only to be told a day later no stock, I then contact them about another item and NOTHING. The email I got says their photos are broken? Worst online company I have ever dealt with, no I have to try and recover the $550. DONT ORDER FROM HERE!

My brother ordered for me a combo 38/40mm EWG package and give it to me for Christmas gift over a year ago but I haven't unbox it until now but when I open it the up pipe and wastegate are 2 different size and it won't fit together because the up pipe was 44mm but on the box say 38/40mm so I try to email them to get it exchange but they barely reply me back and ( the answer is no) they won't get it exchange for me when I still have the receipt and order number for it. I unfortunately won't buy anything from them never ever again! Suck as company if I can I will give them 0 stars

I guess I'm entitled and wrong for asking for support over a chat and waiting for 3 hours for the obvious owner to respond with me upset… I spent quite a bit of money on a part with this company. I didn't receive and confirmation other than what paypal gave me nor did I receive any tracking or status order after spending almost a grand here… Once I stated that I was going to cancel my order. The Owner… decides now is his time to send me a F-Off I'm busy, I'll get to you when I can message. Bottom line I am working to cancel my order with pay pal now because whether you are BUSY or not does not give you the right to be [email protected]$$Hole to a paying customer. So yea I guess I'm entitled to reasonable service… Which this company absolutely has none.

Bought new exhaust system from them. What they sent was a used dented system. I called to complain that the system was used and dented and there answering system stated they are not taking calls due to covid 19. I contacted my credit card company. They contacted them and I got a RMA number and prepaid return shipping label They told my credit card company i never returned items and they never got them. I have a receipt from fedex stating who signed for items and the date and time. Total scammers. I believe now this company is trying to collect from fedex stating they damaged it during shipping. That is not the case. Box was undamaged and the items were put in box damaged and used. Beware if you buy from them

I ordered an infotainment head unit for my 2016 WRX cuz the one I have has a cracked screen. I installed the new head unit just to find out the touch screen doesn't even turn on. I put my old head unit back in to see if it might be a blown fuse but it turned on no problem. So pissed cuz this item can't be returned and I am
now out $300 on a defective item.

Three for three! of the items ordered were missing parts, gaskets, and or retainers necessary for the installation of the items ordered. I received response for the first two rather quickly but was told to contact the manufacturers who sent me back to Import Image Racing for help. About two weeks later the missing parts were replaced. But the third item I have yet to receive a response and without the missing part the item is useless. I suppose I will either have to file a dispute with my bank or purchase the missing part elsewhere and eat the extra expense.

I have ordered a EDFC TEIN active control package. The suspension arrived in a Torn flimsy box. The EDFC system also came the same day but when I opened the box I was very disappointed to see the old outdated EDFC style my friends has from 10 years ago in a new style EDFC box. I thought I'm being scammed but when I reached out to the company they said they will reach out to the supplier. That was the last time I was able to reach the company. I tried calling, but the voice mail box is full so it hangs up, I tried the email support to have no answer. I tied the support chat on the website only to be ignored for days on end. That is the last time I will order from them. Good luck

Ive spent over $5000 with Import Image Racing, and with each purchase its arrived Safe, Fast and most importantly correct. Dane has been a saint and soo much help with my car as well as friends vehicles as well. Josh is one fun guy as well! Its always a pleasure shopping with Import Image Racing!

Import Image has great prices and Josh, the owner will deal and beat other's prices.

I recently bought over $2,500 worth of parts from Josh. I talked to him a couple of times. Some parts got here so fast it made my head spin! The BC coil-overs took over four weeks, supposedly, partly because of customs and partly because I wanted non-stock rear springs. However, Josh was not good about communicating the delays to me. It was always me having to contact him for an update. I bought Whiteline end links to put on Agency Power lower control arms. They didn't fit because of a goofy adapter Whiteline gives you to adapt them to an earlier model end link they sell. I didn't know this and Josh didn't know it either, so I ended up with something I couldn't use. I will be putting them up for sale any day…
I asked Josh to help me out with a sweet deal on end links that would fit. He delayed and then said he was working on it. That was the last I heard from Josh, even though I emailed him again. BTW, End links are stupidly expensive. I ended up adapting $36 Blox adjustable links by making my own lower spacers!
Later, I tried to buy $2000 racing seats from him. Because I made a negative comment on IWSTI's vendor feedback area (and sent an email communication to him suggesting he fix his customer service), he would not even respond.

Bottom line is Josh is very, very busy with his huge sales volume he is so very proud of and brags about. You can get very good pricing from Import Image, but don't expect a lot more. I think if he doesn't see a big profit in the works he may forget about you. I think he is trying to do too much with his small crew for the volume. If sales continue at his high volume then why should he change his business model?
Just understand that you don't get something for nothing. Some items may get backordered or delayed because he doesn't really have inventory on many or most parts. You may have to wait an extraordinary amount of time for your parts to arrive (and he won't tell you that up-front).
If you are unwilling to pay a little more then don't expect the accustomed or usual etailer service, response, consistent notification of ship status and follow-up and good customer service after the sale..
