I was sent a share from VIDANTA (GRUPO VIDANTA) saying I had 20 shares valued @5,000 each. This was from the Mayan in Puerto Valarta. I owned timeshare in the Mayan some years ago. I received a share trade agreement from Imperial Brokers stating they could sell said shares. Diamond Title would look after my interest and opened an account with them for 10,000. I agreed to pay taxes to Mexico at the rate of 11%. If I transferred the monies would guarantee disbursement of the funds. Transferred 11,000 to the bank. They did not disburse, the money. Contacted by a Jorge Castillo from Mexico saying the paperwork for the release of the funds were tied up by the attorneys and would need another 5,000 to release the paperwork and funds. It did not happen. The Title Co, Diamond Title wanted me to send them an additional 4,000 for an insurance policy to disburse the funds, which I did not do. So I am out 26,000.00.
Diamond Title should be part of this claim also. 847-906-0684

Karen Smith called our land line on 1/8/19 asking if we wanted to sell our 20 stock shares of Pueblo Bonito. She informed us we needed to get the certificate from Diamond Title Services, reference PEPMI-100296, & needed to call them at 847-906-0684 or 847-787-1173. We were unaware we owned shares as we have never been out of the U.S. She inquired about time share stuff & we have listened to various speals. Was convincing & said even if wrong that we should inquire. Never asked for personal information & was understanding of my confusion.
Imperial Brokers shows up on multiple sites that say beware. They seem nice but information is power in the wrong hands. Never went forward with any of the requested search.

Francis has called me several times for the last 3 weeks or so saying he wants to sell my 20 shares of stocks for Pueblo Bonito. He said I need to get the certificate from Diamond Title Services and need to call them at (847) 906-0468 with reference # I-191426. Then I needed to call him back after I get the certificate. I told him I never bought any shares. He asked about time share stuff and I said I did listen to a speal for time shares about 18 years ago when I was in Cancun. He said that could be where it came from. He was very convincing and almost a pleasure to talk to. Very polite and understanding of my confusion. He never asked me for any personal information though. Only confirmed the street I live on and he did call me on my land line, not my cell phone. I never called the numbers he gave me. Instead, I looked up the numbers on the net and found this site. So glad I found this site because I was starting to think that maybe I had won some shares or something. It was so long ago that I could not remember what I may have filled out or entered while I was in Cancun. So beware! He seems very nice and like he wants to help you but I believe its a scam. Not sure what I will say to him if he calls back again.

We also received a call from Mr. Thomas Matina representing Imperial Brokers offering to purchase 20 shares of our Vidanta vacation property . He was very persuasive about the process staing that Vidanta is going public and that this offer is part of an IPO. He gave me the name of Diamond Title Company as their partner that would be coordinating the acquisition of the shares certificate. The person that I spoke to was Mr. James Wolf who seemed very professional and and also explained the process. We were even directed to the "Finance Department"' at Vidanta .When we were emailed the Share Trade Agreement, there were many red flags including the mandatory deposit of thousands of dollars to be deposited in the financial institution trust account. I let the "Manager of International Trade" (didn't get his name) finish telling me what the agreement stated and I asked him if he was aware that there were people posting about this SCAM and he became somewhat hostile and told me to to address any concerns with Mr. Matina. I told him we were going to investigate them with the SEC and there was dead silence.

James Mancina of Imperial Brokers Inc.(White Plains, NY) sent an offer to me by email to rent 6 weeks of my vacation plan with Vidanta for 53000. I signed an agreement. Diamond Title Services, LLC (Wilnette, IL) represented by Eli Marshbanks, was selected as the escrow company to hold all funds in escrow until everything was finalized. I paid for the usage fees for 6 weeks of rental, Mexican licence fees, Mexican VAT (value aged tax), and legal fees. All of these expenses were to added to the original rental offer and were to be paid out to me. The payout has never been paid with various excuses given. Eventually they would not respond to any communications from by phone or email.
