My wife's credit card had funds fraudulently deducted by Immogroom. Firstly for 1 Euro (testing) then over 2000 euro. The credit card requires an OTP 2 factor authentication which was not provided by the bank. Immogroom has advised that this was an online transaction but over the last 6 weeks they have been very slow to respond, evasive and with no willingness to cancel the fraudulent transaction. They have not advised who made the transaction. Surely identity had to be provided by the perpetrators who stayed in the falsly booked apartment? This all makes me question their integrity. There is no sense of urgency on their part to resolve this theft.
