Gutter Service Of Maine

Gutters! Gutters! Gutters! Do you need them or not? At my previous two homes I had gutters and put them up myself buying the different parts at a local hardware store. Well, after hours of measuring, screwing and sealing, I had them up and I must say they looked fantastic. I have sense sold those homes and to be perfectly honest I am not so sure the gutters played a factor in the sale. Well, recently my wife and I purchased a new home and simply wanted to know if gutters were really necessary? We discovered, after a bit of research that yes indeed, gutters are a vital feature of any home. They keep water away from the foundation, preventing cracking and premature crumbling. They also channel rainwater toward the sidewalks and streets and into city drainage systems, keeping the soil from shifting and eroding over time. We further learned that they are a smart investment if you want to prevent future structural problems to your property and can save you considerable cash over the long haul. So, with this in mind we decided to go with seamless rather than have myself piece together the system again. We decided to use a local gutter "guy", Chad Johnson of Gutter Service of Maine. Chad has been in the gutter business for over 25 years and was very informative during our first meeting when he reviewed our home taking measurements and after a few moments he was able to provide us with a reasonable estimate. Even though he was busy he was able to let us know that he would be able to install our new seamless gutters in a few weeks. About a week later we received a call asking if he could come then next day to install and we agreed. It took Chad two days to install and the system and my wife and I couldn't be happier.
