Called for sanding plus "lud&saebe" in a single room this week. Fast response and execution time, but the outcome is under-average and not fully satisfactory.
Few hours delay in starting the job in the morning as the workers were not informed about the type of task and had to go and fetch another machine and come back. After applying the "lud" layer, they didn't perform the intermediate sanding, the result being not as smooth as other parts of the house done by another company. Unsatisfactory replies from the customer service on this matter.

a. You flagged my review as "not from a costumer", in spite of me providing invoice nr from the beginning, and thus keeping it offline for more than 3 weeks. Once on-line you were quick in actually recognizing it as from a costumer. Strange.
b. That's not true. We didn't have any phone conversation after the work was done, you didn't offer additional "polering". Your reply to my concern was: 1. Everything was done correctly. 2. I should pass more layers of saebe. Only in the last email you wrote to call if I thought something was wrong with the floor. I didn't call, at this point I would rather deal with somebody else.

On May 2nd, the employee showed up, looked at the floor and said that he cannot do it because there is some unevenness on the floor. He connected me to his boss over the phone and he confirmed that it cannot be done, stating that the floor is basically destroyed and that it needs to be replaced. Then the worker left鈥?br />
Needless to say that we were in shock, in particular since we explicitly asked GulvKanonen PRIOR to the booking if they need to see the floor first. Also costly arrangements were made from our side based on the commitment GulvKanonen gave to us (booking hotel & removing furniture).
Luckily we were able to find another company who was able to come the same day and they basically said that the statement from GulvKanonen was ridiculous. The 鈥渟evere damages鈥?they stated were just normal wear & tear which can be easily handled with a normal sanding. The other company finished the job in the meantime and -as expected- the floor looks like new again.
So my conclusion here: either they do not have the knowledge to do an easy sanding of a wooden floor or they were overbooked that day and did not have the balls to inform their customers beforehand. No matter what was the case, it is unacceptable.
