They make it seem like your on the website of the hotel your trying to book with. But if you see guest reservations get off that page. They will charge you outrageous fees and refuse to cancel or modify the reservation. Use the hotel your looking for website they will be cheaper than guest reservations.com for sure and at least you have the option to cancel or modify your reservations with the hotels.

I made a reservation for a Best Western Hotel through this website. When I went back to try and modify it they said they couldn't modify my reservation and that my only option was to cancel the whole reservation and I would have to pay the full amount even though I was trying to modify this four days ahead of time. They said they have no 24 hour cancellation policy, once you've paid you're stuck with paying the full amount even if you want to modify the nights that you've booked. This is total BS.

This website is outraging! They hide a lot of fees and charges that you'll only find out after booking and they won't let you cancel! BEWARE!

They draw you in by making it look like you're booking directly with the hotel, but you're not. Next thing you know you're stuck with MASSIVE booking fees and there's no warning until you're through the booking process. I tried to cancel my reservation and they showed no remorse. I was had. $50 fees down the drain on an $84 hotel reservation. Complete bastards.

Their URL makes you think your making the reservation with the hotel when in fact your not. They added a $50 service fee to the total without notifying me and then refused to refund the charge had to initiate a dispute with my CC company. I made a seperate reservation by calling the hotel which was 30% cheaper than what guest reservations was billing me. Beware

This company is a fraudulent rip off! I am a pretty savvy travel purchaser… this one got me. I was in a hurry… but always go to direct hotel site to book! Thought I had… my booking came to $422.00, I was charged $638.00… over 200.00 service fee! That is over 50% booking fee. My fault for not paying closer attention. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau… how many have been charged and had trips ruined?

You think you are going directly through the hotels website and then you don't get to verify your purchase total and you get charged outrageous fees. This is a scam! I don't understand how they have any good ratings at all. I was charged $65 in taxes and fees that when I got to the hotel I was told they would not have charged me. My $130 room was suddenly $195. Scam scam scam!

I agreed to a 200$ charge over the phone (including taxes and surcharges). They got my email wrong, so I never got a confirmation of the cost. The Thursday following my stay I was charged 40$ over the amount they told me, which equates to 70$$ in surcharges! Why would anyone agree to a "low rate" hotel room and then get charged the equivalent of another night stay. Garbage customer service, they just out source their billing to another company who won't do a thing about it because its not there fault.

This company is a fraud. They make it look like you're visiting the actual hotels website and offer a great rate. Once you enter in all of your billing information and hit confirm they add on an astronomical fee AFTERWARDS. When you call to ask why you were charged an extra $72 on a $187 room charge you get a very unfriendly customer service rep from another country who basically tells you oh well, you hit confirm and we don't issue refunds. Don't give this company your money and watch out when you're booking, they're sneaky and try to make it look like they're the hotel when using Google.

Troubled that this company advertise a price and then almost double it with hidden fees. These are tucked away in the small print, after the booking confirmation form.

The online works… calling the number and booking by phone does NOT work… Just hope breakfast will be available this time… last time we stayed at this Inn none was served even though the advertisement said it was included [ btw, no reduction for no breakfast was offered or issued – that really is deceptive advertising]

I have been traveling a lot the past few weeks and think I have a reservation for Saturday Aug 1( 1 night). I looked for it in my emails but could not retrieve it. Have had spotty
Wifi the past week… Hoping the one night stay for Saturday can be cancelled. Would really appreciate it. I also have a service dog that will be with me. Highly trained CGC mastiff. So a dog bed and food bowls would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be more honest to show actual cost — include the steep service fee add on in the upfront quote

Awesome rate for the night before a holiday. Hampton Inn in Saco is where we stay whenever visiting family there. Love the waffle machine.

Easy to reserve a room. Let's you know what's available. Left a day early and found out no return on money not unless you book hotel directly.

$105 per night turned into $456 for 3 nights, why ???? Your add does not explain the overcharge of $141. !!!!!!

Be aware of this booking chains inability to work with the customer. I booked a stay at one of their hotels and tried to cancel it moments later.
I called and talked with an agent who logged my complaint and told me they couldn't refund my funds. Along with the hotel room rate there was a significant hidden fee.
I would advise anyone who is thinking about making a reservation through them to reconsider. Buyer be ware!

GuestReservations.com spoofs the name of a hotel you are interested in and dangles a low price for the room. Then after you enter all your info they spring a ridiculously high "tax recovery fee, about 40%, and make it sound legit. So you wind up paying much more than if you had really booked directly with the hotel as you thought you were doing.

Stayed here several times when visiting family. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean, and priced well. Love the pool.

Booking process doesn't clearly display the fees that they charge for booking. I accidentally stumbled on their site and booked at a hotel I have stayed at my times. They charged 45% of the overall booking!!! They hung up on me when I called to contest the charges. Their call center is amateur hour and unhelpful in every way. It should be against the law to mislead and scam like this.

Why on your website says $89 but after submit comes up $131.80. $43 tax? Its a half of the amount what I paid for a room
