I entered my tax info online thru my cpa's website, hit save after each section-nothing was saved. I tried again, but each time an error popped up "Cannot Save Data, Shutting Down". I contacted my CPA & was given possible way to resolve problem. I did & immediately got WARNING: YOU HAVE BEEN HACKED, INFECTED WITH VIRUS CALL 18552600064 IMMEDIATELY / MICROSOFT HACKED It also indicated this is part of Yahoo & Google? Not sure what that meant. I called # & spoke with 2 people. Andy or Adam Smith-used different name each time. He took control of my computer – I can't believe I fell for this but was afraid if I let it go, I would suffer. I gave him permission thinking he was legit based on instructions from my CPA. He said many IP Addresses infected – Russia, Canada, other countries were infecting my computer. When he finished he said I needed a Level 6 Anti-Hacking Expert-James Anderson. I was guaranteed everything ok & they cleaned up any infected areas. They installed some sort of program & wanted me to send money order in amt of $999.99 next day by Fed Ex. I said I don't have that kind of money. He said to send $649 to guarantee 1 yr protection. Told me to call them as soon as I had moneyorder in hand. I was to send to: 6509 Pennsylvania Ave, Apt 204, District Heights MD 20747. At this point I was afraid & looked up address/company-property was forclosed on. I don't know who these people are but do not want to get involved with them. I rec'd calls & now email from James Anderson wanting their money. I actually had my Computer Handyman of MD come to my house & he cleaned any programs this grp installed. He could tell I was being hacked in Feb by this same group approx when I began entering my tax information online. I didn't know it until 3/11/17 when this all took place. I filed complaint with Federal Trade Commission, contacted my bank & filed report with the Loss Prevention Dept and pray these people will stop harrassing me. They also told me if I sent moneyorder, I had 30 days to terminate & get full refund. Got another reminder email from James. I responded that I did not send moneyorder as I felt violated based on information I learned about them. I received a phone call from him again last night wanting money. I hung up. I don't know what to do at this point. Can someone give my advice? I know I made a huge mistake & am afraid of what they'll do next.

I called a number yesterday in hopes that it was for Yahoo official headquarters. I found the number on Google, and it turned out to be a scam fraudulent website call GSTS (globo
system Tech Solutions). This company promised to clean my computer system out of any previous hacking encounters. Once they did that they automatically installed some software in my computer for security protection. They proceeded to ask me for a $230 money order tracking number to secure payment for one year of protection. I never agreed to purchase the protection. The representative told me the protection is automatically installed and if they do not activate it my system will be blocked permanently where my computer will not be usable at all. That's exactly what they did I can no longer use my computer unless I give them $230 to start the activation for the security. I did a little research and found out the address they have in the United States Maryland must be a fraud because their IP address was out of India I researched their IP address when they were remotely connected to my desktop and it was out of India. Please help I would hate for this to happen to others they should be stopped thank you

On October 7 I was trying to log into TSP.gov when the following message appeared: (Paraphrased) YOUR COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS. DO NOT LEAVE THIS PAGE OR YOUR HARD DRIVE WILL BE LOST. CALL THIS NUMBER IMMEDIATELY FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
Of course I did call that number and a technician told me he could fix my computer online for $400. I agreed to that, and a couple of hours later the "problem" was fixed. On October 15 I tried to log into TSP.gov again and got the same warning I had received the week before. This time I merely turned off my computer. When I turned it back on my hard drive was still working, and I am sending this message to you.
