I applied online at grundy insurance for a quote I submitted with all my classic vehicle and personal information to include my drivers license number, I was then given a quote amount as well as for the replacement value and all the coverages. Then I received a email stating the amount of replacement value coverage needed to be increased to their minimum and the annual premium would also need to be increased along with a form to sign by me if I was in agreement to the changes and to send photos. I agreed to the changes and complied promptly to their email with my signature and photos of the vehicle to proceed with coverage. I do have a perfect driving record and credit so I was somewhat surprised of the change after their original quote. I then received a email saying they needed pictures , I promptly emailed pictures again and advised them I already had originally sent them. after not hearing back I emailed them and I was told they still had not received them and to send them in different emails which I did right away. I then received a email they had got them and would be sent to underwriting. They sent me a declined application stating my vehicle has no collectible value and is not worth the the policy replacement value which is totally insulting for a original in great running and no damage on a 1968 Chevrolet C20 truck that is highly collectible and not to be meet their min value replacement amount as well as not being of a collectible status ? Their underwriting competency needs to questioned. My experience with them was a total waste of time. I have had the same type and year vehicle insured through another reputable auto classic insurance company and they had no problem insuring it as a classic vehicle ?

Been a Grundy customer for about 16 years,paying over $3000 total. Bought a second classic auto. Because I had claims on my daily drivers (not at fault) they refused to cover my new truck. Ridiculous. I shopped around. Both Safeco and Hagerty were better and cheaper. Goodbye Grundy

Have a few collectors cars and wanted to try a lower cost provider. The experience started out okay on line but ran into snags and due to non intuitive form fill out with lack of reopening and editing capability once submitted with errors the trouble began. I compared the experience to Hagerty and Geico and the rating has to be low. I was quoted an initial teaser rate to move me along based on incomplete information which kept my attention and made me push through misunderstanding and stress. Today I lodged a complaint to three Grundy emails and received a decline notice within a half hour after they said they pulled my driving record which they asked me to go to DMV website to provide (I have a point and so does my wife). Frankly the decline seemed like a blessing as I can only imagine the what the experience would of been like to make a claim to replace the something like a stone chipped front glass on the Ferrari for 5K which Geico earlier this year, slick as a whistle. Grundy should behave like Hagerty and Geico showing the utmost respect for the customer interactions and improve the digital experience. I am sad it that did not work out, the teaser rate was 50% what I pay for the Ferrari now.

I found them to be very unprofessional as well as unwilling to resolve a minor error. They used bully tactics and mislead me causing a great deal of time effort and money. I am happy to speak to anybody interested in my review but I would strongly suggest you look at alternatives as this company does not understand customer service. I have been a car collector for decades and they single-handedly provided the worst insurance experience I鈥檝e ever had. At best they don鈥檛 even deserve one star for their total lack of professionalism.

Cheapest quote I could find for my viper. Drive it once or twice a week to work. Drive it less than 2500 miles a year. They claim they dont mind occasionally being driven to work and that you dont have to keep track of mileage.

Declined. Pretty sure you need to have a garage/trailer queen.

The previous owner of my collector car was insured through Grundy and gave a glowing recommendation. I called for a quote which was returned quickly. The process was straight forward and handled electronically when I decided to start my coverage. The whole process was easy, friendly and very professional. I will recommend Grundy whenever the topic comes up in my personal and networked auto connections.

My experience was great! Not really painful at all. I provided some information, some pictures, and payment for my estimated amount of coverage. Then they gave me an amount of insurance they were comfortable with. I decided if it worked for me, and after proper signatures, the policy was a done deal. Any over-payment was refunded. Thank you, Grundy!

Wasn't sure why I had to increase coverage on all of my other vehicles (daily drivers), in order to get coverage on my classic. That caused an unexpected increase in my premium.

The contact and info was poor I signed up and started 10 days prior to competing policy lapsed .finally got coverage after my previous policy was lapsed By several days never in my life had this happen Communication was bad .

My 1st time experience with Grungy was great.

The young man I talked to(i have forgotten his name) during the application process was really good. He was friendly and efficient and expedited the process so that i had coverage when he said I would.

The underwriting process was also very quick.
