I ordered a weighted blanket from this mob and Couriers Please could not understand my address and sent it back. Now they can not find it so I have had to ask for my money back. Lets see how long it takes for that to happen.

I ordered couple of automatic toothpaste dispensers. They never got processed even after 6 weeks of waiting and I am still waiting. There is no way to email or contact Groupon and it is a con. They will never consider an exchange or refund once purchased and paid, and once paid, you are trapped, these guys don't know what customer service is and will cheat you to their advantage. STAY AWAY from their website www.groupon.com.au

I purchased a box of wine and received the incorrect ones. They are slow to respond to emails (now more than six days) with no resolution. Sent photos as proof of wrong delivery and their "online chat" they say they will investigate with their supplier and still no response four days later. They will not resend the correct order until their supplier has proof of return of the incorrect wine. My contract was with Groupon, not their supplier, yet I will need to take unpaid time of work to take the wine to a post center to return the wine to fix their mistake. Due to security of the wine it can not be left outside of the house for their courier to collect, especially when they could not give a time when the courier would be able to collect it. They have my money for the incorrect goods, yet they want me at my cost and time to sort their mistake out. Groupon appear to have no phone support with the only means of contact is on line which they then are extremely slow at responding to and treat you as a inconvenience for their business. There is lack of follow through or urgency on their part with no one being responsible or accountable to resolve a problem. Perhaps by making it so difficult to deal with them they hope you may give up. There is no possible way I could recommend dealing with Groupon or recommend them to any of my friends. Even a rating of one star for their customer service is too generous.

Nothing.
… except a broken item that I didn't order, a bunch of wasted time and money, and a stack of infuriating, useless, condescending customer support chat logs.

If you ever need to use their customer service, it's absolutely awful.
My item never arrived, and the tracking proved this as it was marked "on board for delivery" for weeks, but never "delivered". This isn't their fault- but getting their help to find the item or refund was like pulling teeth.
The first time I contacted them, after waiting 6 weeks for my item, which was coming to a metro area, they told me I hadn't waited long enough.
I waited again another few weeks, by which time it was nearly 2 months, and they FINALLY agreed to refund, however, when I didn't reply to their chat message in under 2 minutes, they closed the chat and I had to start again. Seriously? The Groupon website doesn't have any indication that you have a new message like noise or a flash in the tab, so unless I was literally waiting and watching for the messages she would close the chat right away. Her messages, however, were taking like 5 mins. They finally agreed to a refund this time, but the experience was so bad- I don't think I will ever shop with them again.

Wish I had known that the cushions I ordered were from Shenzhen or I wouldn鈥檛 have got them.Now I have to see if I ever get them as nothing is coming from China.

Groupon refuses to extend the expiries of or supply refunds for vouchers I purchased earlier in the year. Vouchers couldn't be redeemed due to the coronavirus lockdowns, and as a result were left to expire.
I had an email come through saying they would extend the expiries of all my vouchers, but none of them were extended.
Also, most recently they're running some promo code offers and their banners refer you back to the FAQs page to check for exclusions. When you head there, everything is just generic and there's nothing to indicate the exact exclusions. If you seek help via live chat, the reps admitted to not even having a list of exclusions. That's how incompetent this company is.
Avoid at all costs.

Very frustrated with their customer service.
I ordered a standing desk. It arrived after a week but one item was missing from the package. I contacted them the same day and informed them about the missing item.
It's been a month and they have not come back to me… every time I contact them again they say they are sorry and the ticket is with the management!!!! There is no way to trace the ticket and I can't use the desk… The customer service repeats the same thing every time: "we are very sorry for what happened. The ticket is with top management and under review. We will get back to you in 5-7 business days."

I purchased a service on Groupon and the business never responded to my multiple requests to book the appointment. I am legally entitled to a refund under Australian consumer law as the ordered service was completely failed to be delivered several months after I ordered it. The support kept weaseling their way around this statement and instead that I get my refund in Groupon credits. I argued that I am entitled to a cash refund to which they eventually just basically said "okay, we here you, but we don't care, here's your refund in Groupon credit."
I will be contacting the ACCC and will be following up on this matter until I see that reasonable action is taken. I don't care so much about the money rather that Groupon thinks they can rip people off and get away with it.

I ordered a cabinet from Groupon and waited three months but it never arrived. After complaining numerous times online and on live chat, Groupon "investigated" for six weeks but never came to any result. I will not buy anything further from Groupon and their unreliable suppliers.

After sending and receiving multiples with Groupon Customer Support, Groupon refuses to refund or extend a voucher I bought right before COVID-19. As the business was shut down for the whole period of my voucher, it was impossible for me to use it. Now that the business is up and running, my money is lost, as Groupon will not extend the voucher. At this point, it is practically stealing…

Received a gift Groupon for a restaurant. Went to book (with only a week before it expired). they had no availability. Asked Groupon if they could assist. They required the person who purchased the gift to sort it out. Be aware if you are purchasing as a gift they will only deal with you not the person holding the voucher. I won鈥檛 be purchasing from Groupon in the future and someone wasted money on a voucher that couldn鈥檛 be used.

Terrible customer service. Lady was very rude and short with regards to extending expiration date for a Groupon whereby the validity period of the voucher was during Covid lockdown. The clinic was more than happy to extend however it appears Groupon would prefer to keep the entire fee to themselves despite extenuating and unprecedented circumstances. No empathy whatsoever. For shame Goupon Australia.

I created this account with Groupon and tried to buy a car tinting coupon. My wife used her credit card and initially it came through but after 30mins for some reason they sent me an email saying it got refunded and cancelled.
I then retried using my own credit card and the same thing happened. Initially it worked but then after 30mins, I can't even login now. Apparently they closed my account for no reason!
This is absolutely ridiculous and rubbish. They don't even have a hotline to call and their live chat is as good as a bot as they just copy and past replies to you and say they will get back to you but never does.

I bought a set of rubbers for boxing training more than a month ago. They're still not delivered. There's no way in the world that I would buy another product from this company. If there was a rating lower than one star, it would be more useful.

I purchased a One Aquarius Hair Dryer Curling Tool for my hairdryer. After waiting 1 month for it to arrive from NSW via post (which I understood due to the increased parcels from COVID19) I received it only for the product to not work as it was advertised via Groupon's website. The tool doesn't stay on the end of my hairdryer, or my sisters or friends hair dryers. The ad makes this tool out to be a one hand use, easy styling tool but you need three hands to use it – one to move the hairdryer, one to hold the tool on and one to work your hair. I lodged a faulty product request with a video showing the tool falling off after a few seconds of use, the best Groupon can do is offer me a Groupon credit with 3 months expiry. I have spoken to three different people via email – they can't even have the same person handling my faulty product request. This is my first time using Groupon and I won't be coming back due to their false advertising and then appalling customer service and conflict resolution skills.

After requesting a refund for a product I can no longer use (due to covid19) I have been told I cannot get one. After losing a job and struggling to put food on the table this is unacceptable. I only got given 1 option – take the credit or go away- "you didnt ask for this within said time frame" – yeah well I didnt ask to be in lockdown either did I?
Worst to feel so helpless against a company. Thanks for wrecking my day.
