I was looking for an activity for myself and my partner for the weekend and decided to book a burlesque evening atCecils night club. After I booked I realised that the event was not on until April 2017! This is most unusual. I phoned customer services as I thought there had been a mistake only to be told that I could not get a refund. The event is 6 months away and I called within 5 minutes of making the purchase. They referred me to the no refund rule on the event which I had t noticed. They then refused to negotiate at all, not even to leave a credit on my account. I think this is very poor service, especially as I am a regular purchaser of Groupon products. I will not be using this company again.

THIS COMPANY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF, DELIVER DAMAGED GOODS AND DO NOT GET BACK TO YOU EVER! I BOUGHT A 拢300 BED WHICH ARRIVED DAMAGED OVER A MONTH AGO AND DESPITE MANY EMAILS TO THEM, NOT A DICKIE BIRD BACK! I HAVE HAD TO DISPOSE OF THE BED AND BUY ANOTHER ONE AND I STILL HAVE NOT A PENNY BACK FROM GROUPON AND YOU LITERALLY CANNOT GET THROUGH TO ANYONE!!!!!!

I am still waiting for an item I bought in November! I wanted to update my adress but it took 10 days to Groupon to answer my email saying they couldnt do anything, without offering any solution. I asked them if I could get my money back but still no answer 2 weeks later. Now I am trying to call them, still no answer 20 min later…

I ordered two different packages, both guaranteed on the deal to be here before the holidays and I still haven't received the second one!
called in first time waited 35 mins to get through, told me I had to wait 10 work days before they could give me my money back.
Called in a second time after the 10 work days waited 45 mins (!), and the agent couldn't help me with anything, but just told me they would send a mail to their delivery department and it could take up too 30 days.
Incredible.

For months I've been trying to get a refund from groupon without success. Earlier I purchased a coupon for two massages at a spa in Goteborg. the first massage was a terrible experience – my back was severely bruised and I was in terrible pain for three weeks afterwards. Groupon said the spa must confirm that it's okay for Groupon to refund me 50% of the price I paid. FInally the spa agreed and said they would notify Groupon to refund my money. Groupon says the spa never contacted them….I don't know who is telling the truth, but I will not be using groupon or the spa in the future.

I trusted Groupon and bought several coupons over the years for a variety of things. Some were successful and some were not. There were several companies that I could not get a hold of after numerous times of trying to call and overall a waste of my time. It doesn't stop there – when I contacted Groupon to get my refund, they decided to only refund 20% of the money I paid ??!!!! So after trying to get my services and products and already having a terrible experience, Groupon decided to keep 80% of my money. How is this not fraud? By law when two people agree on a sale, it is an equal exchange. Groupon takes no responsibility for their partners and also trick to keep YOUR MONEY. BE CAREFUL! I will never ever purchase from this company again and will make sure that everyone I know will not either. I will also start a case with the konsumentverket in Sweden!
