GROHE support service does not answer calls and emails! I have a problem with Grohe products. I think that they do not care about customers! They do not respect their customers! This is unbelievable! Mark Grohe lost her reputation in my eyes, and in the eyes of many people!

Wrote 4 emails to Grohe US re: a replacement hose for my kitchen faucet. Finally called and got a slightly rude lady-Natalie who asked what web site I wrote them to because they have lots of websites. I said Grohe US as I was looking at the site while I was talking to her. She said to send the pictures of the leak and faucet to her and she would get back to me immediately to tell me the part number and cost. I wrote another email that afternoon-no answer. 2 days later-no answer. Customer service really sucks. Bought a new Pfister for the sink and the bar sink. Grohe no more!!

We installed 2 Grohe faucets (Sommerset) in our master bath about 9 or 10 years ago. Two years ago or so, the oil rubbed bronze finish began peeling off. Today they look terrible. I tried contacting their customer service and sent pictures but got no response. I purchased Grohe because I thought they made a quality product, but these faucets are a mess. No more Grohe products for me.

I had this installed by a professional plumber in April/2017. In Jan/2019
And in the last few months, we would find puddles of water on top of the granite by the backsplash and faucet. About once every week or two.
We didn't think too much about it because it was hard to see with our granite top color and just would wipe it up.
I finally checked under the sink and it was totally wet. We were fortunate that a bucket under the sink caught a lot of it. still , a mess. and water everywhere It could have been leaking for a month for all we know. I did check all the hose supply lines and they are not the problem. it must be an internal leak somewhere. I filled out the warranty info online and was told to send it back (no RMA /RGA for tracing purposes??) They "tested" it – while running the water – no leaks. sent it back to me -telling me it came with no supply lines (I took them off for shipping purposes -which I explained in my note -And they never read. They assumed that was the problem -so I called them.
Their customer service (after waiting on line for over a half hour ) is terrible. They didn't even read my email ,or look at my pictures I sent, or read the note I enclosed. They didn't call me to discuss. I talked to a 鈥渟upervisor鈥?and she implied leaking supply lines – then why did I have a pool of water on TOP of my Granite sink?? She had no answer. Suggested/offered sending me a replacement cartridge.

There is no way I can put this back in and trust it not to leak and ruin my new hardwood flooring. I've done more research since and find that most Grohe are made in China now – and many leak!- do your research! Many floors ruined.
Please do your due diligence. For over $300 I expected much more.
I鈥檒l never recommend or purchase another Grohe product.

Was on hold for 45 minutes to ask a question about a part. When the female customer service rep came on the line she was immediately rude and "put out". She said, "if you want me to help you, take me off the speaker phone". I put my contractor on the phone to describe the part we needed. She said she did not understand what we were talking about with a totally rude attitude. Unfortunately, I purchased all of my shower parts from Grohe but would never do so again. I have several friends starting bathroom remodels and I will be sure to alert them to the poor customer service. Unacceptable.

15 years ago I put Grohe in my own kitchen and bath and loved the products. When my boyfriend decided to remodel his bathroom and then his kitchen I recommended Grohe to him and he used all Grohe products for both. His bathroom was remodeled 4 years ago and the kitchen was remodeled 3 years ago. The Grohe bathroom faucet he purchased, which was a high end model, lasted about 2 years and then it started to leak. My boyfriend wanted to purchase a new cartridge for it and repair it but found out that it was about $70 for just a new cartridge so I gave him an extra Grohe bathroom faucet that I had and he installed it instead. It has been 2 months since that faucet was installed and now the second faucet has started spitting water out at the top of the handle every 3 seconds when it is on ( I timed it). We are now replacing the second Grohe faucet with an Italian made faucet. About six months ago the Grohe shower head in my boyfriends shower started leaking water after the shower is used. I don't mean that it dribbles or drips–the water literally runs out of it in a steady, heavy stream for 10-15 minutes after it is used so we are replacing it with a shower head by Rohl. The Lady Lux kitchen faucet that my boyfriend spent about $400-$450 on dripped and the sprayer never did work right from day one so that was replaced about 6 months ago with a kitchen faucet by Rohl. We called Grohe at one point about the issues that we were having with their products and they couldn't have cared less and on a scale of 1-10 I would rate them a "1" for customer service as their customer service is pretty much non-existent. Neither I, nor my boyfriend, will ever purchase another product made by Grohe. The Handy Man store in Sioux Falls, SD where we purchased the Grohe products is a great store and has wonderful customer service and they no longer carny Grohe products because they said that Grohe's customer service is now so lacking that they can no longer in good conscience offer Grohe products.

I have an $1800 grohe kitchen facet. The finish is peeling off the base of one of the handles. I phoned customer service and sent a picture. They said there is nothing they can do because the model has been discontinued and I can't get a receipt from my designer who installed the facet 10 years ago. It has a lifetime warranty and it is a Grohe faucet. I don't understand why I need a receipt.

As a contractor, I'm sick and tired of the Grohe repair calls. I used to be able to get help and parts from their warranty people. NOT ANYMORE. I don't get the repair calls from other products like this. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a Grohe product. Please note, a Hans Grohe product is top of the line. I will never again install a Grohe product for anyone.

We were updating our kitchen and wanted a touchless faucet. This Grohe model was sleek and not as big as most of the ones we saw. It was a little pricey, $650.00, but we thought it was worth it. Wrong. During the LENGTHY installation process, our plumber could not get the water to come out more than a small dribble. It was their flow restrictor. Really? That was normal? After talking to Grohe customer service, they said they had another flow restrictor we could use and would be glad to mail it. Again, really? Once the faucet was working, it dripped constantly, then flowed constantly and came on without being touched and wouldn't come on no matter where you touched it! AND unlike Delta, you can not turn it off! The touch feature is always active. If it comes on while you aren't there it could flood your home.We finally took out the batteries. Called customer service. Sounds like to them we need some more parts. It took the plumber 4 or 5 hours to install this crazy thing and they want us to pay him more money to figure out what is wrong with their brand new product?! Not happening. Of course, he said, we could always take it back (this makes the return the problem of the plumbing supply place where we purchased it). We took it back. Do not buy anything from this company because customer service was not concerned at all that their product was substandard.

I purchased a faucet with sprayer in 2013, the cost was $400, twice the cost of a high end Kohler or Moen faucet. Typically, things made in Germany offer high quality but not this time. From the get go, my faucet dripped about 10 drips every time I turned it off. The licensed plumber returned to check the installation which was done properly, he determined that the issue was in the cartridge that controls the flow of water. I contacted Grohe to get a replacement cartridge, which they sent, but it didn't fix the problem. I wanted to get a refund back then but I chose not to because of the labor costs involved with installing a new faucet; I just lived with the drip.
Last October, the faucet literally broke off the sink at the base. The curved faucet is attached to the base with a small screw which wore out and broke – on a Saturday morning – water spraying everywhere! I immediately called the company that I bought it from (a local bath showroom – very high end). They told me they couldn't help me that I had to call Grohe. Turns out that Grohe is not open on weekends so I had to wait to speak to someone on Monday. I didn't want to go two full days without a faucet so I went to Lowes, bought a Kohler faucet and had a plumber install it later that day.
Getting in touch with a human being at Grohe is not easy. Every time I called, I heard the same canned message that they were experiencing high call volume and that I should go online to ask questions or register a complaint. I did that much to my dismay, I waited over 10 days and finally got fed up and made a comment on their Facebook page. That got their attention. Someone from Customer Service responded within 10 minutes and from there I got another major run around. I had to return the product to the store I bought it at. The same place I visited on the day I had the problem that told me that I had to contact Grohe directly. I finally got around to dropping off the faucet on 12/17/15. Thankfully, I had printed the email exchange with Grohe customer service because they still insisted that they typically don't get involved with returns. Really?
I wrote to Grohe 2 weeks later asking about my return, I got no response. I waited two more weeks and called the local store to see what the status was? They had no information other than that it was sent back and they were waiting to hear from Grohe. I called the local store last week, 7 weeks from the day I dropped it off, left a message but didn't hear back from them. I contacted Grohe customer service AGAIN and said if they didn't get involved my next step would be to call the Better Business Bureau!
Miraculously, I got a call from the local store the next day asking for my credit card number so they could issue me a credit.
4 months, countless emails, calls and not so friendly messages, I finally got my money back. As much as I like the look of their products, I will never [purchase or recommend their products to anyone (and I am a REALTOR) my customers often ask me for advice on such matters. I hope this helps you in your decision to buy or not to buy!
