I have a phobia of flying. Which I am trying to overcome but for now greyhound is my only option to go Dallas to LA. Luckily I don鈥檛 have to go too often. I have read the many angry reviews about greyhound, and was afraid this would be my trip. However it was not. Bus was on time, drivers are not super friendly but they are professional and I have no complaints (they deal with some interesting folks) The most important thing I want greyhound to understand is how important those outlets are. Our outlets were down for 5 hours on my trip. I had 55 more hours to go. The driver fixed the outlets and by doing that saved the trip from being a nightmare. If you are a young lady traveling alone please travel with caution, and sit close to the driver. Dress warm the busses are cold, even in Arizona, just trust me. The other passengers are your biggest obstacle. I saw one guy try and get in the drivers seat and drive away while at a rest stop. Cops were called. I saw a young attractive woman start yelling that a guy was touching her. Cops were called. The driver handles these situations and he/she deserves your respect and cooperation. He/she is the authority on the bus so do what they say! People also get grumpy but also you get to know some passengers. Some will be on drugs or Perpetually half drunk/hungover. Some are just normal people. The security is loose, so mind your own business. Keep your belongings close but I experienced no theft on my 3 trips totaling 180 hours on greyhound. Brings snacks, but the bus does stop occasionally. Can鈥檛 think of anything else for now. If your don鈥檛 kick the bee hive you will be alright.

It was nice because hardly anyone was on the bus. Normally, I don't do Greyhound because of the sheer amount of people and delay times. The bus could of been cleaner, considering it was a nice, new, bus. The hand sanitizer dispenser in the bathroom was broke. That is NOT okay with the COVID-19 going around! The seat next to me was sticky, like, someone spilled soda sticky. It was obvious it was not cleaned from the previous trip because there were old cups and whatnot throughout the bus. The driver was extremely nice. Kudos there! Overall, since only myself and one other person was on the bus, I had a relaxing time. Peace! And I hope you fix the delays at trouble spots in Colorado and Texas. Good day.

Everyone (staff-bus drivers, security, and receptionists 馃挏) made it a effort to ensure that they went beyond their job duties to create a memorable and comfortable experience on Greyhound bus services. I enjoyed every minute of my trip and it was made safe and relaxing by all staff at Greyhound the whole way through. I can't explain how much my experience traveling was made so great by everyone who worked during my travel!
Thanks Greyhound for your service and support!

Sincerely,
Guest Che'Dee Taper

The greyhound bus lines. The experience I got with them I won鈥檛 be thinking to travel with them again. Thought I would be saving some time traveling with this company turns out I was wrong. I booked a ticket for Friday 17th April, 2020. All goes well I had to reschedule my trip for Tuesday 14th April, 2020. I called the number they told me I had to pay $20 rescheduling fee. I did. The email that was sent to me stating the address. Got there don鈥檛 know which side of the road I should be on. No instructions saying which way is Where. How should first time travelers know which over of the road they should be? Now I can鈥檛 cancel my ticket. I pay more than I鈥檓 supposed too. I鈥檓 at a loss and didn鈥檛 get to my destination I was stranded with nobody that was close by to come get me. This experience is horrible being it the first time I was going to use this service and despite in a time of the COVID19 pandemic.

Shout out to Greyhound employee Stephanie at the Port Authority station in New York who took care of my mom and I on Saturday, March 7th, as we were returning from celebrating my mom's 70th birthday in Spain. Stephanie, who shares the same name as my youngest sister, was very understanding, accommodating and helpful. She made our trips so much more comfortable and easy. Thank you Stephanie!!!

The bus on the rides to my destination was early in the morning, the bus left on time, was clean, had the special features that was described. On the other hand, the bus leaving to come home was outdated, dirty and the special features stated that it had, didn鈥檛. Overall it was my first experience on a greyhound and won鈥檛 be my last. You can鈥檛 beat the price!!

Excellent trip. Comfortable, WiFi, and, most importantly, a pleasant bus driver. I enjoy my semi-monthly commute much better by bus than I ever did by driving. I get to work on my laptop and have gained all this productive time that I lost when driving.

Greyhound is a great transportation to the people, but we the people need to see these avenues of transportation through the eyes of the company. while we do pay for it, it is a service that is cheap and reliable… greyhound is subject to delays do to traffic, and subject to some quite indecent individuals, but the staff has always been courteous and strict when needed, they do the best they can… i choose greyhound for their exceptional service, and a cheap price… however i do hope the employees are treated with good pay, benefits and leadership

The On Board Entertainment Access thingys helped improve my experience some, but the that's just part of the experience stuff. The other helpful things I like to think of is… 馃檪 the Restroom in the back corner, Looking around out the windows At The Sceneries Nearby, annd the Friendly People of both the Passengers and the Driver during the times. & I liked how I got to ride with all or most of the same people during my round trip I had from wrj Vt to Nyc around Feb 15th. Along with me and most of the people I remember riding with, was able to get 2 seats to our selves (or, a seat available for a carry on luggage next to our seat we sat in).
A few tricky/normal things is that the prices change depending on the moment u confirm a ticket & buy em. The bus was about 20 minutes late leaving Wrj Vt cause of a maintenance thingy that had to be checked on. Buut that gave us riders a few extra minutes to check in & chat with the driver nearby and the terminal cashier while making sure everything was safe & settled in.
& Something I had to get used to when in the bus restroom was that the light's motion sensors would dim a little too soon sometimes, and I had to wave to the ceiling to make sure the light stayed on.
Coming back to my hometown areas it was snowing out during the 2nd half of the ride. The driver had to pull over a couple times to clear the windshield wipers from icy snow. & During both parts of my round trip, 馃檪馃憦 the driver did well.

The bus was suppose to go from Hampton to Norfolk and was two hours late. Then once in Norfolk waiting for the bus it was three hours late because they didn鈥檛 have a f.cking driver. This is ridiculous people pay money for GOOD service . They take our money and do what the f.ck they want and it鈥檚 drivers just sitting here looking dumb. F.ck all the stupid b.tches who work at greyhound

It has been years since I last rode on Greyhound. The fact that Greyhound has been around for a long time, passengers should have and expect a good experience. My wife and I did a round trip from Memphis to Atlanta. We had a nice trip both ways. The drivers were professional and the buses were clean and I think on the first trip the bus may have been a newer model. Years ago I remembered smelling exhaust from the buses but we didn't suffer that at all. At my age to have someone else do the driving was great! 'No stress but rest when you ride with the best!!' You can use that jingle if you like.

I used to ride with Greyhound in the 60鈥檚 and remember it as a pleasant experience. I am handicapped now and can not drive. Several months ago i used Greyhound Package Express for the price. It was such a value and a rewarding experience I decided to take Greyhound to visit my son in Yakima WA. Wow has Greyhound improved with time.
My first Greyhound employee interaction was with Kelly at the Amarillo station. She has been the clerk each of my three trips. She is very knowledgeable, pleasant and kind. She makes you feel like the most important traveler in the world. On my last trip there was a frail, elderly lady who was obviously very anxious. Kelly reassured her that she would look out for her and make sure she boarded the correct bus. Which she did. I was simply an observer of Kelly鈥檚 interaction with her. However she and i sat together all the way to Yakima. She is 75, a widow and had traveled to San Antonio for the sudden unexpected death death of her daughter.
Your motto on the wall says 鈥淐ourtesy Matters鈥? It sure does and Kelly exemplifies this to the utmost! She was my first impression and this is my third trip. I find most of your employees professional and courteous i have not been disappointed but the example Kelly first set.
I try to take the phone survey with each new driver but many times have been unable to connect. Thank you
