Scammers

On November 29, 2020 I ordered a cookbook from GRENNTERMO Happy hurry up Cookbook by Steven and Kathy Doocy. I paid by credit card and received an order #AB-10928. The company asked for my address and email. The ad indicated it would be a hard cover book. It turned out to be a download which is NOT what I wanted! I called the company only to discover that the phone number and their address: 5425 Closeburn Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28210 are not valid contact numbers.

Fraudulent!

Ordered a book online last night. Most attractive price was through this company called Grenntermo who also advertised the book as a hardcover edition with free shipping. I completed the order form including shipping address and gave my credit card info for a charge in the amount of $9.30 plus tax for a total of $10.00. I then received a confirmation email with a link. After clicking the link I saw the company had sent me a odd version of the book. This is not what I ordered! I replied to the email asking for a refund & received an automatic response stating there would be no refund and that they sell only e-books. The poor grammar & misspellings in the email indicate this is an offshore account using a North Carolina address. I am going to dispute the transaction with my credit card provider but this company needs to be accountable for the fraud that they are. I am also going to file a complaint with the BBB.

SCAMMER

Grenntermo misrepresents its sell.
Advertise selling of a hard book format.
Offers claim of a $ 0 shipping cost for the book ordered . The book will not be shipped.
They fraudulently change the sell to an e- Book format sell without consent or notice. This is a complete scam. I notified my bank to reverse the charge. There is no phone number to call this online site. I requested an immediate refund to their email address. No refund has been received to date.

I've just joined the "ripped off by Grenntermo" club! I ordered
and paid $9.30 for a paperback book that was never received.
Reading reviews of this crooked company, I note that in some
obscure place the size of a fleas underside, it's noted that all books
are downloaded separately as digital. I'm of course disappointed,
but wiser for the experience. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Did a Google search for book and specified as HARD COPY version.Advertised as FREE SHIPPING. Made purchase only to find it was an ebook via confirmation from company. All other sellers specifically mentioned in CAPS that it was an e edition. This seller hid the version only when received a confirmation email. Buyers beware. 鈥淲hen it looks too good it usually isn鈥檛 !鈥?

AFTER I purchased the book, I got the email saying it is a digital book, I can get it in Kindle or pdf format. There is NOWHERE on the listing page or the actual order page that says it's only a digital book. I checked after they contacted me. Way, way at the bottom they have a term & conditions link that says: "All books in our site is digital." Yes, that is a copy of their page. They would not refund my money but the did, however, give me a credit to spend on their site again…problem is that they have nothing I want. Just realize that you are not going to get a real book!!! CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I ordered a book for $9.30 from the Grenntermo website. After I made the purchase and payment, Grenntermo informed me that they were selling me a book download. Nowhere on the website did Grenntermo state the book was a download. They refused to issue me a refund. They told me the download information was in terms and conditions, a link in a rectangle the size of a paper clip. They were telling me I should have read the fine print, except the fine print was on a separate link. I call Grenntermo's sales tactics fraud. Stay away from Grenntermo!

Provided false information about book purchase

The Grenntermo website said the book I ordered would be shipped free. After I completed the order and paid for the book, Grenntermo informed the book was a download book. Nowhere on their website was that mentioned. When I asked Grenntermo for a refund, the representative refused. He said the download information is contained in the terms and conditions link. That link shows on the website as a tiny rectangle on the website. There was nothing to direct me to the information. Grenntermo was, in effect, telling me I should have read the fine print when the fine print was located on a separate link. Grenntermo defrauded me. Don't order from Grenntermo and don't trust the company!

False advertising. My son wanted a book so I searched where to buy it and found Grenntermo through a search engine. It listed the book for $5.50. NOWHERE on the page where the book was listed or ANYWHERE in the buying process was I informed that it was for an electronic version. I didn't realize it was an e-book until I got the email receipt with a link to download the book. An e-book is useless to my son and he spent his own money on this book. The only place that says all books are e-books are on their terms and conditions webpage. I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities and BBB. This is completely illegal.

Scam- false advertising

I am a victim of the same scam mentioned in the 3 complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. I ordered what I thought was a hardcover book with free shipping from Grenntermo using a Google link for $7.20. NOWHERE on the listing which included a picture of the hardcover book did it say that they were selling a digital book which is available on the internet for $1.95 to $2.95.The order form asked for my shipping address (which is different from my mailing address) and which is needed to ship a hardcover book.
I received an email with a link to an ebook. The ebook is worthless to me.I have contacted them twice, and they refuse to refund me.
I also suspect that Grenntermo is an offshore business using a Charlotte NC address (although they may be renting a location here in NC). I say this because of the broken English used in their emails and answers to the many complaints here and elsewhere on the internet. Also the company telephone number (which they don't answer) is a cellphone with an Asheville area code. Beware of and stay away from this business.

Scam merchandise website

This website pays to link itself into your Google search results. Example https://www.grenntermo.com/Me-…
It appears you can buy that new release for over HALF off. Instead the website simply takes your money. No product is ever received. Numerous complaints and site still runs the scam.
