Bought a backpack from Greensitts.co.uk which was faulty and unusable on arrival, was eventually asked in writing by [Name] (owner of company) to return by [External reference], with the promise "Please return the bag to the address on the invoice via [External reference] and we'll refund you 拢4.20 postage paid.

Waited a week after confirmation they had received the parcel then emailed repeatedly without response; finally got my purchase money refunded after the good people at PayPal took up the issue for me, but still waiting a month later for [Name] or [Name] to return the 拢4-20 promised for postage or even to reply to a single email or phone message. Cross that someone can so blatantly ignore the law and continue trading unchallenged, especially as it seems I'm not the only one they have done this to. It's "only" 拢4-20 but more importantly the principle, and the fact that Greensitts appear prepared to trash their company reputation and alienate current and future customers is distinctly odd.

I ordered one of their cabin backpacks and it arrived really quickly, however, its back was all mouldy. I could not get a response from the company for about a week – phones were not answered and emails not replied to. Eventually, after trying the 3rd email address I had found online (no proper contact details are supplied on the order form), I received an answer, instructing me to send the item back, they would replace it and refund the postage. I did so the next day and then heard nothing. After about 2 weeks I asked for an update, but again nothing. I then threatened them with taking the matter to the small claims court and a day later my rucksack arrived. No one has ever apologised for anything and I am still waiting for my postage refund. I am not holding my breath, though…

It will arrive damaged, they will refuse to reply to your phone calls or emails, you will send it back with a promise to refund you the cost which you will never ever see. You continue to contact them and they continue to ignore you. You leave reviews on the website, they never appear on the website. Need I say more…
