Took money from a Green Dot MoneyPak card

Received an email offering a loan. Asked for verification/application fee using a Green Dot MoneyPak card. After giving the card information received a cal back stating that they could not deposit the fund into the bank as it was not affiliated with their company so it was suggested that Western Union be used instead. Of course there was another fee. Or the funds could be deposited to a prepaid card offed but Green Dot. After agreeing called Green Dot at an alternate number and found out they do not offer loans. After speaking to them and being told they were not liable they did open an investigation. And even though they can see where the money from the card was applied they can't do anything until the investigation is complete in 7-10 business days.
