IF YOU ARE A "GREEN" PRODUCT VENDOR, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SEE IF THEY WILL ACCEPT YOUR PRODUCTS. THE OWNER IS VERY PICKY ABOUT WHAT SHE PUTS IN THE STORE. SHE HAS A "SELECT" GROUP OF "CUSTOMERS" THAT HELP HER PICK WHAT "THEY" THINK WILL SELL IN THE STORE. SO, IF THIS GROUP DOES NOT LIKE A PRODUCT SHE WILL NOT LET IT BE IN HER STORE. I FOR ONE, HAVE A REALLY BIG PROBLEM WITH THIS. JUST BECAUSE THESE FEW DON'T LIKE SOMETHING DOESN'T MEAN THAT OTHER CUSTOMERS WON'T LIKE IT. I THINK THAT A STORE SHOULD CARRY A VARIETY OF PRODUCTS SO THAT THEY WILL HAVE SOMETHING FOR ALL DIFFERENT TYPES OF CUSTOMERS.
SHE WILL APPEAR TO HAVE A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE OF RUNNING A BUSINESS, BUT SHE IS VERY UNORGANIZED. SHE WILL TELL YOU THAT SHE WILL GET YOU THE CONTRACT FOR BEING A VENDOR IN HER STORE, BUT SHE NEVER GETS THE CONTRACT TO YOU. SHE SAYS SHE WANTS TO SET UP A MEETING, BUT YOU NEVER HEAR FROM HER AS TO WHEN SHE WANTS THE MEETING. WHEN YOU DO SELL SOMETHING, YOU HAVE TO REPEATEDLY ASK HER TO GET A CHECK OUT TO YOU. SHE DOES NOT HAVE A SET SCHEDULE AS TO WHEN SHE GETS THE CHECKS OUT TO HER VENDORS. SO, IF YOU ARE RELYING ON A CONSISTANT PAYCHECK FROM YOUR SALES, YOU MIGHT WANT TO RETHINK ABOUT PUTTING YOUR PRODUCTS IN HER STORE. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A SET PRICE ON YOUR PRODUCTS, FORGET IT. SHE WILL REPRICE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE. SHE WILL TELL YOU WHAT SHE WANTS YOUR PRODUCTS TO SELL FOR. AS FOR MY EXPERIENCE, I THINK SHE OVER PRICED ALL OF MY PRODUCTS AND SHE WAS VERY PICKY ABOUT EVERYTHING SHE CHOSE FROM MY LINE TO PUT INTO THE STORE. IF YOU EMAIL HER OR MESSAGE HER ON FACEBOOK, IT TAKES HER DAYS TO GET BACK TO YOU, IF SHE EVEN DOES GET BACK TO YOU. ANOTHER VENDOR TOLD ME SHE GETS OVERWHELMED FROM MESSAGES WHICH KEEPS HER FROM ANSWERING THEM. IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE QUESTIONS FROM YOUR VENDORS THEN YOU DON'T NEED TO BE IN BUSINESS TO BEGIN WITH.
SHE RUNS THE STORE WITH THE HELP OF HER PARENTS, WHO ARE VERY NICE PEOPLE, BUT THEY ALL ARE SO BUSY WITH THEIR PERSONAL LIVES THAT IT INTERFERES WITH THE RUNNING OF THE BUSINESS AND TAKING CARE OF THEIR VENDORS AND CUSTOMERS. WHEN THE OWNER DOES APPROACH A CUSTOMER, SHE IS SO OVERBEARING. SHE WILL NOT STOP TALKING TO THEM AND SHE WON'T LEAVE THE CUSTOMER ALONE LONG ENOUGH FOR THEM TO LOOK AROUND THE STORE. I HATE OVERBEARING SALES ASSOCIATES. I PERSONALLY JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE TO SHOP AND IF I HAVE A QUESTION, I WILL SEEK OUT A SALES ASSOCIATE AND ASK THEM. PLUS, AS I SAID BEFORE IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE EXSTEAMLEY BAD BODY ODOR, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO GO INTO THE STORE TO BEGIN WITH.
