Green Motion near the New Orleans Airport (MSY). Upon arrival, my wife and youngest daughter waited 30 minutes subsequent to calling for the shuttle. Then another 20 minutes at for processing at the car rental location, despite having all paper work which I prepared in order. Furthermore, the battery changer in the vehicle was inoperable, which negated the use of the GPS for their cell phone, creating additional unexpected problems getting to their destination.

Worst rental experience I鈥檝e ever had. My husband and I flew into Orlando the evening before thanksgiving. Waited about an hour at the airport shuttle area. The traffic was terrible which I understand. However, when the first shuttle that arrived, as the driver was helping me load my luggage into the back of the van, other passengers just got into the van. There was no space for us to sit, so the driver took our luggage off and told us to wait for the next one, which was another 30min. When we arrived to the facility, there was one person behind the counter. Again, it鈥檚 the day before thanksgiving. It took 2 hours to get up to the counter, and when we finally did, the woman said that our reservation was cancelled. Apparently they use military time for their reservations and my 830 reservation was for 830am not pm. I did not recall it being in military time while booking it but it鈥檚 very possible that I made a mistake. However, I figured because of how poor the experience was going thus far, not just for me but for everyone trying to get a car that night, that they would be willing to work with me. She had to call a manager because there was no one on site to reactivate my reservation. While they did reactivate the reservation, they said I鈥檇 have to pay late fees, upgrade to the next class up, and put a deposit of $500 on top of the full rental fees I had already paid. I said no, got back on the shuttle, went back to the airport and just got a car from Avis. Terrible customer service and hours wasted waiting. I can鈥檛 believe they would only have 2 shuttle drivers and 1 person working the counter on one of the busiest travel days of the year. I would never rent with GreenMotion again.

It was a good experience. Very timely at the airport pick up and drop off. We got a little held up at the counter when we arrived, but it was the unprofessional customer In front of me who was causing the delay. All in all it ran very well.

After reading most of these reviews I starting second guessing my choice of rental car companies, but decided to expect the worse remember that it was alot less expensive then the others and stick with it.
It had to be the most efficient, well orchestrated, rental car pick up that I was ever involved with. Dropping off was just as easy and would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. They greeted me by name and had the key ready for me as I opened the door to the lobby! I was in and out in a few short minutes. (I even charged my phone in preparation of waiting in line for 45 minutes like I did with the last rental car company), but was so happy that I was able to be off to my hotel in record time. GREAT JOB!!

I wish I had read these reviews before renting from this company! Our flight was delayed over an hour and I arrived 7 minutes past the 2 hour window that your reservation is good for apparently. The staff person said the car I had reserved was gone, they had charged me the full amount of my reservation and were not willing to reimburse or offer a discount in any way. They said I could rent a more expensive car (full price because they weren鈥檛 honoring my reservation cost) if I paid a $40 late fee on top of all the other costs. We gave up and returned to the airport where we were able to rent a car from a reliable company, Enterprise, in about 5 minutes without any issue. I learned the hard way not to trust what I thought was a good deal! I highly encourage you to stick with a reliable company like Enterprise or Hertz.

I would never use GreenMotion again, this company will look for any excuse to increase the price.
We were delayed in arriving at GreenMotion through no fault of our own (1 hour held on the tarmac at Orlando airport by customs and then 2 1/2 hours queuing to get through customs) we were told both on the plane on the tarmac and by posters all over the terminal building, that mobile phones can鈥檛 be used until you clear customs.
When we arrived at GreenMotion at around 11.00pm (car pick-up time was 8.00pm) we were told that because we were over 2 hours late, our reservation had been cancelled and that we should have rung to let them know we would be late.
The problem with this is that A, we didn鈥檛 know we would be late until we touched down in the USA, and B, We weren鈥檛 allowed to use our phones until we cleared customs, by which time we were already over 2 陆 hours late.
GreenMotion finally found us a car after an hour but the cost was more than double the price we had agreed on-line 拢260 on-line 拢580 on the day. When we complained about this, we were told in no uncertain terms that we either payed the price they were asking or we could leave without a car, this is at gone midnight in an industrial area in the middle of nowhere, 3o miles from our rented villa, with 2 young children, this boarders on extortion!!!
We were not the only family experiencing these problems, at least 2 other families from the same flight had the same problems while we were there.
I find this total unacceptable and would never use this company again

If there was 0 stars that would be my rating. Stay away! Service was terrible. Many extra hidden charges and fees. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money going with a reputable car rental company.

Truly horrible. Waited an hour for pickup. Bait and switch pricing, where the 鈥渕andatory鈥?insurance cost more then the advertised price of the car. Rude counter person. And a damaged car with no gas in it at pickup. I鈥檓 a frequent traveler and this was the worst rental experience I鈥檝e ever had. If you fall for the come-on pricing, good luck to you.

I hired a Greenmotion rental car through Opodo one month prior to our holiday in Orlando. The cost of the rental was very competitive compared to other similar rentals. Our flight arrived at Orlando airport earlier than expected. We located the pickup point for the shuttle to take us to the Greenmotion off airport office. The shuttle arrive about 15 minutes later, unfortunately the driver told us that it was pointless going to the office as there were no cars available. I insisted that he did take us as I wanted to sort out the issue with manager. We arrived at the Greenmotion rental office at around 14:15 only to find that there was no staff in the office and all of the lights were off but the door was open. I eventually found a female member of staff outside in the parking area. She told me that there were no cars left and I was to contact the booking agent for a refund. She was very rude and unhelpful stating that I should take the shuttle back to the airport as there was nothing she could do. There were several other customers in the same position as we were. Once back at the airport it cost me three times the original cost to hire a car at one of the hire desks. When I attempted to claim refund on the original hire through Opodo, Greenmotion told them that I was late in picking up the hire car and marked me as a no show. They refused to issue a refund. COMPLETE LIES, MY RENTAL AGREEMENT HAD A PICKUP TIME OF 15:00 I TRIED TO PICK THE CAR UP AT 14:15. ITS ONE THING HAVING NO CARS LEFT BUT THEN TO REFUSE TO REFUND ME ITS UNBELIEVABLE.
After raising this case with Greenmotion case escalation. They have investigated my claim properly and agreed to compensate me for the difference between my original rental and what I paid for the replacement rental. This demonstrates that when you right it鈥檚 worth escalating your claim even when they reject it at first

I went with Green Motion because it has good rental price, not realizing they have many hidden fees that other rental companies don't charge. Instead of charging us for the tolls that we incur, we had to purchase a $90 pre-paid toll which we only use half of it. We were asked to purchase a "lost of use" insurance which we never heard of from other rental companies. The car rental was only $91 and we had to pay an additional $202 that we did not expect. Will never rent from green motion again.

What a useless company. We booked and paid for 2 weeks of car hire with this company via Argus Car Hire. We were collected from the airport by their shuttle bus, taken to their offices out of town to be told they had cancelled our booking, rented our car to someone else and had no other cars available! To rub salt in the wound, we were told that the shuttle bus driver knew that when he collected us from the airport!! We then had to try and find an alternative car hire at Orlando airport, at midnight on one of the busiest weekends of the year. This cost us an additional 拢1000 on the first day of our holiday. Use this company at your peril. Apparently this is quite common as they make more money this way by leaving you in the s…!

DON'T RENT
For the love of peet don't rent a car from this company. They give you a price pick you up from the airport because they don't have a desk in the airport so that you are stranded and have no choice but to pay their fees with added up to $700 fore over the $200 the rental costs

It took over an hour to get car. I was 3rd in line. Guy in front of me argued with lady behind desk, he asked for a mgr 3 times and never got one until he started screaming about how bad Greenmotion sucked… one came out of office finally. Never again will rent from them. Charged me $12 for tolls which should have been for 5 days but charged me over $80. I asked and she said it was that much because of taxes. Never again!

Good customer service at the counter, had us in and out in a hot minute. Drop off was a breeze. Car was in good condition and easy on gas(had it for a 3 day shopping trip and only used 1/2 tank?). Only negative is that had to take a taxi there from the airport rental central because no one answered the phone when I called for pick up. Otherwise was a good experience.

Good customer service but that Mirage only went down the road by my sheer will. Overall basic A to B transpo at a cheap price.
