Contracted Grays Gardens of Banchory to install a patio. Job quoted was a week to ten days. It鈥檚 seven weeks later and the contractor has been paid 95% of the job but won鈥檛 come back to finish the job or snag the wrong coloured grout. Added to the fact he turns up at 10-10.30 every day, lunch 12-1.30 minimum and bunks off on average before 4 pm daily. It was a depressing and stressful experience. Untidy work, different sized spacing between expensive slate tiles and a badly messed up lawn is just annoying. As he is a one man band there鈥檚 no point suing him as he would shut his company down. We are going to remove grout and redo the finish ourselves. Under no circumstances could we recommend Neil Gray of Grays Gardens, Banchory.
