I purchased a Nikon D810 pro camera body, on the 6th May 2016, via Pixmania who in turn validated Grants Electronics in the UK for the product sale as per Order No. CCL1507656189 which cost 鈧?548.56. While I was familiarizing myself with the operation of the camera I noticed a fault in the viewfinder's onscreen display which I promptly notified, firstly Pixmania then Grants Electronics about. GE subsequently stated that the problem should be dealt by Nikon UK under the camera's warranty.

Nikon UK responded by stating that Grants Electronics wasn't a recognized dealer, therefore any repair or replacement will require a payment from me. I again contacted Pixmania and GE about this and neither of them have been in anyway forthcoming about a replacement or indeed paying for the repair, so far.

After failing to get a replacement camera for one which was apparently a defective product, I eventually went with "Plan B" and sent the camera to Nikon UK for repairs which cost me 拢190.67.

This has clearly been a very unsatisfactory ordeal from the point of view that I spent a large sum of money for a brand new, fully functioning camera, purchased in good faith from Pixmania/Grant Electronics which has resulted in a repaired product that I have had to pay for.

Damn!

Rae.
