My partner bought so icing tips from Granddepartment.com for a very good price. They arrived and they are good, with an excellent selection. But, and there is always a but, 3 months later she was charged 鈧?9.95 for a membership that she didn鈥檛 ask for. We emailed the company asking what this was for and they said we had ticked a box requesting membership to them. We did no such thing. They sent screen shots via email stating that we鈥檇 ticked a box for this membership. There was no tick in the box or any evidence that we鈥檇 requested said membership. Each time we emailed telling them we do not want any membership, currently stands at 9 emails in less than a week, they reply saying they don鈥檛 understand our problem and keep offering a discount for it. First of all a 50% then 75% discount. They then sent emails stating they aren鈥檛 getting emails from us, if that is the case how do they know we鈥檙e emailing them in the first place if they aren鈥檛 getting them?!! We have to go to the bank now to get a stop put on the card we used to pay for the icing nibs so they will no longer charge us. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete sham of a company. I鈥檇 advise before purchasing anything from them you REALLY LOOK at what you鈥檙e getting. I can tell you with complete honesty there was nothing about a membership anywhere when we purchased.
