Good company and customer service is great. I firmly believe in telematics and believe it can provide a great resource for companies and other organizations in regard to their vehicles. The cost is worth the investment for the information you receive.

The software is easy to use and has a ton of great features.
We can keep tabs on our whole fleet, tell how long to their next appointment and get stats on driving habits and vehicle issues.
And the landmarks feature is the best part. We can track all the places that they go so we know the best route to send them. We would be 50% less efficient without GPS Insight.

GPS insight has made it so efficient to track, monitor and reduce texting from drivers. From starting the van to entering facilities and the length of time they鈥檙e there with a time stamp so we can use to calculate pay time.

My only thing is the devices and set up in the trucks give a lot of trouble with missing location, missing odometer, power failure, and say devices undocked when it is not.

This is a great product for an excellent price. GPS Insight will get you going and and continue with great support. It is easy to use. We have a lot of areas with questionable service. It has not been a problem. We continue to track. We can run reports and gets lots of different information. Definitely a satisfied customer.

It is cumbersome. Not fond of GPS Insight at all. The system defaults to the previous driver if that driver did not sign out which makes a mess for the administrator to fix on through the GPS Insight and for the a new driver. For a system of this capacity if the end drive time idles (vehicle is shut off) for 15-20 minutes it should do an automatic log out of the driver. If the vehicle is moved by a mechanic in the yard. There should be a mechanic sign in and automatic log off if the piece of equipment is not being driven beyond a mile radius from the shop or location where it is being repaired. And it should NOT accumulate hours towards the mechanics if they have a CDL on yard moves.
There should also be an activation of "truck in motion" where it asks who the driver is or if it is a mechanic move in the yard. if required to sign in.
Not all mechanics have CDL's which also a challenge as they should be entered to GPS insight as a mechanic.
Also, if the driver does NOT sign out (truck has stayed in idle spot 15-20 minutes and is shut off) unless at a 30 minute mandatory rest which should gain time, the GPS adds hours to a driver In which runs the driver's legal time out by FMCSA forcing them to reset "legally" even if the driver wasn't actively driving.
When we are within Air miles 150 should also should be considered as a sign in or time card preference. I understand that FMCSA wants equipment 2000 or newer to have an ELD in them, however if most of the work is in the 150 mile radius then there should be an option to select time card on the ELD verses using the ELD system. A warning to the driver could be displayed on the ELD of the driver has gone .1 miles over the radius forcing them to sign in.
As for the Administrative side of it. I waste a lot of time (which I don't have available) trying to figure out how to make adjustments as needed. In the website I have called a number of times and tried on my own to figure out how to remedy the actions. The system is not very user friendly and is overly complex.

Have been pleased with the purchase of this product. Wish I had more time to utilize the reports and many features. GPS Insight is always looking for opportunities to improve their product. Have always liked the cloud option as we need minimal internal IT support.

Great service I can track my trucks and it keeps Tripp history. Only down fall I have to keep signing into app a little bit of trouble when driving. Other than that I would recommend service

We have had absolutely no problems with this program. We have had it for many years now, and there was maybe 1 time where we needed something adjusted, and were able to get tech help fairly quickly, and resolved via email. No hassles, it was nice! We used many functions of the program daily, all day long!

Great product works as intended. Support could do a better job of explaining problems found and what they did to correct them. Local sales representatives would also be nice.
