GPO products only feature a 12 month warranty – possibly because they are likely only engineered to last a little longer than this. To give some context, we bought a relatively expensive Turntable from GPO Retro and within 18 months it has now started to randomly switch itself off, sometimes for hours on end. The company have been of absolutely no help whatsoever. No sympathy, apologies or attempts to replace the turntable.
So in summary, if you are looking at a GPO and thinking about ignoring the 1 year warranty because products these days don't go wrong as much, think again. I would advise you to perhaps spend a little more on an established quality brand instead of buying anything from GPO. You'll only be buying the other brand in a few months time when your GPO goes wrong anyway…
