GovTrack is an open data-type website which uses government community data to track federal legislation, and information about your representatives & senators in Congress, including voting records, and original research on bills and votes. You can search by legislator or by subject, to get the information on specific lawmakers or legislation. This site should be a must-have bookmark for activists or anyone looking for the latest information regarding specific bills in Congress.

The site is supposed to track government actions. However, it has no privacy policy, it draws heavily on medium.com- which has no privacy policy and it's main script pesters people about Twitter- yet another privacy threat. Many people who greened the site didn't take a close enough look.
The site owners were contacted and gave zero response. Clearly they can't be bothered to do what they need to do.
Based on all of that this former bookmark has been delisted. Just having a site perform a function isn't enough. Execution is an issue.

I used this site extensively when I worked as an intern for a U.S. Senator. Many of the answers to constituent's questions could be found quickly with a few type strokes at this site.
