I would strongly suggest either applying directly with your nearest Vietnam embassy, or check a trusted source like the Lonely Planet for recommended visa agents.

Vietnam Visa is not a scam, but it does not take long to realise they have very poor business practices. A quick google search will reveal that an alarming number of travellers do not receive their visas within the promised timeframe, and also questions are either not answered or may take several days.

Vietnam Visa uses a .govt.vn extension to appear as though they are government department instead of the legitimate .gov.vn extension. The website tries to ape the look of a government website too – not illegal, but definitely not good business practice.

Also your application will be returned in a group email where everyone else can see your personal details – again very sloppy business practice. Please assess them for yourself with a google search to see all the complaints.

Payment gateway failed. I paid successfully and then it just went to a 404 page. It didn't redirect back to my details. I e-mailed them to enquire ( politely ) but had no reply. Just stay away. There's many others that can do this same service and will get back to you.

The worst – I do not recommend it. The owner is super rude as well. Don't waste your time!

Please note, this is not an official government website. Real websites should have ".gov.vn", not ".govt.vn"!

I have not attempted to use this website to get a visa, but they're deploying shady practices here to make you think they're legit.

Currently, there is no official website for getting visas which are not e-visas.
