When it arrived this was not the case I immediately contacted them and explained and was told the direct drive smart trainers we a lot more (I consider 200 pounds to be a lot) I asked for refund and was told no. I asked for an exchange for 850 pound model and told no originally. Then it was agreed they would take it back less 10%. I boxed it up and returned it at my own cost.
Then my direct drive trainer arrived on the advice of the salesperson (who said he had this model himself) after using it 3 times it wasn't working any longer so got in touch only to be told he hasn't heard of this and offered no further support only to say if I can't resolve it through saris he would get involved. Fact is I brought it through him and him having same model thought he could explain what to do. It turned out item needed firmware update so nothing really that ubusal according to saris so why hasn't he done this on his (probably because he doesn't have one and lied to get a sale)
2 weeks on and after few more issues I get hold by him that the cheap and crap bike I bought from Halfords (拢280 in June 2016) had old chain n gears on it so trainer won't work with my bike. Nothing was mentioned to me about this at time of purchase and seller assumed I had 11 speed bike I since went out got 8 speed cassette by his advice yet unit still didn't work. I have been offered nothing yet item is not fit for purpose and yet again will not connect via Bluetooth to phone i have dealt with saris direct but directed back to seller.
Damon the gent who I have spoken to has offered no service at all and instead just insults my intelligence because I didn't research enough yet when buying a product I expect salesman to ask me relkevant questions to make sure I get correct equipment. Instead I just get abused I would encourage everyone to stay away
