I don't understand why the site doesn't have pictures of the bulletproof plates that come in the bulletproof vests. They should show the plates that go into the plate carriers or sell the ballistic plates alone, because they were the prettiest armor plates I have ever seen. Kevlar and aramid are your basic weave, just allot of layers of specialized fabric.

This was nothing like that at all. It was a plate that looked like carbon fiber but shiny like pearl. It had a honeycomb thing going on its amazing.

I ordered a basic NIJ IIIA set because they only have plate carriers and plates sold as a complete package. So I got that. It came with a free water system that wasn't mentioned. I was a first time buyer though, so it may have been just been because I was a first time buyer and they wanted me to come back. It may be part of it but it seems like first time buyers get better packaging and some extras so they come back like most companies online now a days.
