Complete scam…going through my bank to reclaim money.
Absolutely zero stars is more apt…I think everyone should FB the gooseberry hair page, as they are partners and obviously in it together.
Another so called 鈥済one missing鈥?parcel..expected to wait 28 days for delivery company, although this is against consumer rights, as the contract is with the company providing goods and not the delivery company.
Please stay away from this company.
Shame on them taking people鈥檚 money for their own greed.
Update…try Joe Lycett….someone should shame these people for continuous taking of new orders.
I have contacted trading standards and ActionFraud and obviously Joe Lycett TV programme…馃槨馃槨馃槨

I鈥檓 still waiting for my order placed on the 8 th no delivery details or anything they just keep saying it is coming – do not use this company I think they are a scam ! Now going to ask for a refund!

Horrendous – After ordering in Feb to be told the order had gone missing in the post but there was no way of tracking it, there was no reply from the delivery company or tracking number issued. Numerous chases I finally got a reply and advised I would like a refund. Jump forward to 4 months later and countless e-mails and chases to be told 3 times my money had been refunded – it hadn't. i chased for the final time before going to trading standards or my credit card company – the money was finally refunded this week.
I understand times have been difficult and different with lockdown but customer care, honesty and transparency with this company is horrendous.

Terrible customer service, order not shipped for 13 days, when I chased after 10 days, they offered to cancel my order, which I opted for, they then asked again if I was sure I wanted to cancel, again I confirmed I wanted to cancel. They then shipped it anyway. I want to return it as it was a birthday gift and it arrived to late, no one is getting back to me and they are ignoring my email. I will never use this company again

Wrong item sent to me and customer service is worse than appalling. I had to pay for the return which will then be added to the refund apparently. I have been waiting weeks for contact and refund but no-one responds to emails. Avoid like the plague!!!

I wish I had read all the reviews before purchasing from this website. As many others have said, the order does not arrive, the refund is never given, they are fraudsters! I am initiating proceedings with my credit company to retrieve my money! Avoid this company at all costs!!!!!!

I wish I had checked on here before I placed my order with Gooseberry. I ordered 2 months ago, I鈥檝e chased my order and been told it was on its way, eventually I said I would like a refund, which I have now been chasing for 1 month. I assume it鈥檚 a scam as nobody seems to receive their goods. These people have no morals

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Have been waiting over 2 months for products ordered to value of 拢112 online. Communication has stated different things – 鈥渋t鈥檚 on its way鈥?鈥渨e鈥檒l look into this/Refund offered which is never received/complain again/鈥渨e鈥檒l look into this鈥?then miraculously a tracking number is sent which leads to Hermes site who then are 鈥渁waiting the parcel鈥?for weeks which finishes in them stating they have a 28 day policy on missing items?! I don鈥檛 believe they have ever had the items in stock and would not respond to my emails asking if they have. Am now reporting to Trading Standards as have numerous other people it would appear from Facebook. Unfavourable reviews are deleted online so do not trust their Feefo reviews.

Same as all the previous buyers, 2 months later after placing my order I still haven't got my products, nor the refund. I keep getting the 3-10 refund email but no change, Why did I not check Trustpilot before? luckily it was just 拢40 but they are my money! I am beyond sad and angry!

I鈥檝e just come on here and now found others have the same problem! Ordered on Feb 10 – Hermes Order didn鈥檛 track – made me wait a month before they鈥檇 log as lost and now have not refunded me. Keep telling me they will do it but they haven鈥檛! Awful Company. Terrible service. I have done a chargeback but that鈥檚 now sat in a queue with holiday refunds! I will take them to Court if they don鈥檛 refund me.

I ordered on 9 Feb. They took the money immediately said they had in stock, then didn't hear so chased and they apologised and Said not in stock! so I asked for a refund and they said it would process within 3 – 10 working days. They keep saying they will refund am still waiting. its now 17 April. They can't, blame Covid 19, because this was well before lockdown etc. Do not use, they are thieves. They will take your money and not send goods or refund. I have kept all the correspondence with them and screen shots showing my order is unfulfilled.

This is the worst online shop!

I ordered couple of products worth 拢189 on 26 Feb 2020, after couple of days, I emailed and was asking about. I received following day a reply, that I had to receive an email, because they were delayed and if I wasnt happy with that I could ask for a refund. Which I asked for a refund. They told me the process would take place between 3-10 working days. After the date was passed I emailed again and asking about my refund. After long back and forth. They stopped replying to my emails! I even went to their FB page and send a pm.

Long story short, I googled about complains and found out, trust pilot! I WAS NOT ALONE!!! One of the told us about, we could ask chargeback by our bank.
Which I did, Barclays were amazing. The same day, they put my money back!!!!!

So everyone struggling to get their refund, call your bank and ask for a chargeback.

Paid 拢40 for an item which still weeks down the line hasn't arrived. I have email the company and no response what so ever. However they still keep sending me marketing emails about the products. Do not use this company. They don't have google reviews for a reason, so it I harder for people to find reviews. Do not use.

Most shocking establishment I鈥檝e ever came across:
1. Placed an order on 13-Feb20 (delivery up to 7 working days according the website), 拢37.10 taken from my account immediately.
2. 28-Feb-20: no order, no update
3. 29-Feb-20: asked for a refund
4. 21-Mar-20: no refund 21 days later, no response to my emails, except 鈥渞efund takes 3-10 days鈥?
It is not about 拢37.10, which my credit card company will pay me back (just notified them) but about simple basic decency. Therefore, I am going to get a legal advice how to make sure that those individuals, whoever they are, no longer keep misleading and disrespectful costumers. It is unbelievable what I am reading here and how many people were deceived.

Please do not try to purchase anything from this company, they are a scam! I ordered hair product from them on 2nd February and of course my money was immediately taken from my account. It is now 12th March and I haven't received my order or the refund I was promised on 21st February, they are now ignoring my emails.
I have reported them to my bank who tell me that Gooseberry are well known to them and they are investigating them with a view to recovering my money. I wished I'd checked them out on Trust Pilot first instead of following the link on Google.

Used them twice. First time, after chasing them for the order I finally received it 3 weeks late, one item was missing and another was incorrect, however did get a refund for the missing item. I am quite a forgiving and forgetful person and many months later I order from them again. Same story, after chasing them again it arrived 3 weeks late and one item missing. This time I won't forgive or forget, I wished I had read these reviews first and never used them in the first place, I certainly will never use them again. I'm sure Gooseberry you could learn from these reviews and improve your service.

DO NOT BUY from this company. They take your money and never send the goods. When I chased them they offered a refund and never made the payment. My bank is now going to make a claim against them to try and get my money back. I鈥檓 reporting them to Trading Standards and Watchdog and anyone else I can think of. It鈥檚 nothing more than fraud. They should be investigated and shut down.

I have been waiting for a refund since November having returned an item via Hermes. I wouldn't even give this company one star, but unfortunately it doesn't appear that you can give a review with no stars. Lots of very polite promises to make the refund but no refund! Seriously do not use this company.

Don鈥檛 touch! Ordered 2 items from gooseberry online shop on 26 jan on understanding I would receive them within 7 business days. Money taken from my bank account. I didn鈥檛 receive any order confirmation email so tried calling and calling and calling. Only voicemail …whatever time of day. Tried calling salon…..voicemail. Sent two emails…received reply saying sorry, delay in deliveries so I could choose to wait or request a refund. I requested refund and asked for my request to be acknowledged. No response, and no joy in calling them. Will take advice on how to proceed. Not happy.

I ordered 2 items and paid for them at the start of December 2019.
Absolutely no sign of my goods and no explanation provided. I constantly receive emails offering 20% discount, less emailing and more packaging of orders that have already been paid for.

Shocking company, i can't believe they are still allowed to trade. Ordered items over a month ago, should of been delivered within 3- 5 days. When i chased they said there was a delay and offered me a refund which I accepted, no sign of that refund. I am now receiving emails saying that my order will be delivered by Royal Mail, that was over a week ago. No sign of refund or goods. So far my emails have been answered but they are standard emails not personal to my enquiry. Don't try and phone them you will never get through. I wish I had seen these other reviews before i bought from them. Order no. 109069
