Goofbid EBay Tools

I am not sure what has happened at Goofbid but it has become a shockingly bad product which does not do what it is marketed as doing. To make matters worse they actually charge for the (non) service.
When I questioned why it did not autobid, their customer service team replied with "We are working to rectify the issue and a solution is almost in place."

As much use as chocolate Teapot. Give this application a wide berth

I used to always use goofbid and it was great and I won lots of ebay items. However, now it doesn't work. Today I bidded 拢254.79, 2 seconds snipe and item went for 拢183. Goofbid message was "unknown issue has occurred". 3 months ago I bidded 拢23.49 and item went for 拢16. If Goofbid are no longer operating this, then the website should be taken down.

This company are crooks. They have taken subscription money for… doing nothing. Three bids left undone for 'unknown issue…'. No response , no customer service. They should be taken to court and bankrupted. Avoid.

Goofbid used to work. Now it doesn't. I have lost three valuable items in the last three weeks. I have now cancelled my subscription. It is a real shame, as I found it excellent in the past.

Left goofbids on 6 items. First 3 ended whilst I was out, and none of my bids were sent. They were not sold so I managed to buy them. I was home in time for the next 3, and I bid on all of them. I'd checked my snipes and they were registered, but goofbid didn't bid for me. I won all 3 items – and then the results "you won" appeared on goofbid – as though they had won them for me! Contacted their helpline by email but got no reply. Disgusting. It used to be such a reliable tool, but I'm cancelling my subscription.

Goofbid was once a reliable and essential aid to my eBay buying but seems to have been abandoned by its creators. Every snipe fails, usually because 'an unknown error occurred'. I won't use again until the team make contact, either on a reply here or a real message on social media, not an automated reply.

The Goofbid web-site tools don't work. Quite simply its shocking, just can't believe eBay supports account links to this company. Nothing works and the technical support is terrible and there is no company phone number listed anywhere to contact? The outfit is a scam.
TIP: Close all accounts and swap to Gixen

I reset all passwords changed all ebay settings and then closed the account with goofbid and opened and paid for a new one

Dreadful company, I cannot use the site as I cannot update my eBay security but a whole year's fees taken again with non existent customer services!!! Contacted them numerous time with no reply at all. Avoid this site completely!!

I joined the new paid for service. Lost out on 2 items I really wanted. I contacted customer service times with no reply. I have cancelled my account and hope they dont continue to take my money!
Stay away

Some 'glitch' stopped the snipe, and an item I was prepared to pay 拢19 for sold for 拢11 something! Don't put your trust in it if the item is something you really want. Worse, it's a service that is no longer free.

This service does not work. Do not sign up. Effectively now just a scam company.

Paid for a year and it doesn't work at all. No response from support. This is in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Snipe never worked, no response from support via email .. They were good at one time, wouldnt touch them now ..

Snipes never work, I just get the error "Snipe Failed: Confirm your account" and their customer support have never bothered replying to any of my queries. Don't waste your time or money.

Regarding goof bid you should just take them to the small claims court, they will soon sit up and listen. Shame on eBay for letting this happen.

Scam. They continue to take my money every month, won't respond to emails requesting cancellation.

Signed up (and paid) for service. It has not worked one time with an unknown error. I had verified my eBay login information multiple times. Why this may have been a good service at some point, it doesn't appear to have been kept up. They are good at taking your money, just not placing bids! STAY AWAY.

Used it for a few years. It was great. Now it does not work at all, cannot get an answer from "help" I have paid a year's premium and cannot use it or get a refund.

Took my money for a year's subscription then continued to take a monthly sub. They don't answer emails and a message left on their Facebook page unanswered also. Have blocked the payment with my credit card and closed down my account but they still try to take payment every month. Very poor customer service.

Like all the other reviews , not snipping at all now. contacted customer services several times but no reply.
Sent a recorded letter to goofbid 09/10/19 explaining & asked for a refund or I will pass it on to trading standards. Paid 拢23.88 for the service & had nothing. The letter was signed for at goofbid on 10/10/19 by Faw—T at 09.56.
GOOFBID, once I get a refund & some customer service I will remove this review .

My last 3 snipes failed which would have won.
Same message each time
Reason for loss: An Unknown issue has occurred.
I rechecked all login details after the first failure and everything is correct.
I then contacted Goofbid a week ago about this and no reply. Have been paying for premium service for over 2 years.Have now cancelled this and will look elsewhere. Disappointing.

It started off well, but over the last few months it stopped placing snipes – even though I checks my account details and even did pre-snipes.

I tried contacting them several times but no reply despite 'we'll get back to you soon'! I paid them a monthly subscription and I've missed out on some good items – thanks Goofbid!

Avoid – not worth the risk.

This does not serve the bids up, its rubbish. I recently paid for the "professional subscription" and put bids through Goofbid on 2 occasions but Goofbid did not serve my bids. No explanation, simply bid failed. One of the auctions I would have possibly have won because the item sold for far less that the bid I had left with Goofbid. Goofbid said with the info that the bids had failed " check your ebay logins". On both occasions i had verified these with Goofbid before placing the snipe. I wrote to customer support after both occasions, no one bothered to reply.

I expect a refund as I had to open a 2nd account elsewhere with another Ebay tool and have basically paid Goofbid for nothing, just a time waste. Thanks Goofbid, you stink and I would give you nil stars if there were an option. Lucky for me, my new Ebay sniper DOES work.
