That more than half of your donations Never reach the store's sales floor. I work there, not for long I suspect, and know this for a fact. Most is sold as salvage At pennies per pound. Most likely,your donated 20 dollar top is thrown into the salvage bin. So, instead pf charging say 299, a reasonable price, It's just thrown in w/ other tops and sold for pennies on the pound .I've taken great care to only report what I directly experienced.Facts. I go to the Goodwill store in Onalaska, WI. It is a big place where I go, very clean, great staff, and lots of items to choose from. And when you buy at the Goodwill you are also helping others out. Great place to go.
