We are currently renting with Golding Estates. We have had multiple problems since moving in in August including an overgrown garden, filthy sofas that have not been cleaned, lack of Wi-Fi and a bathroom that is uninhabitable. Contractors are currently doing work on the downstairs bathroom, resulting in carpets being ripped up, no flooring, no shower or toilet and lots of noise. This leaves us with one bathroom between SEVEN students. The heating in numerous rooms has not worked since the day we moved in, resulting in the house being extremely cold, especially over the past few weeks now that temperatures have dropped. Golding have been unprofessional when replying to our multiple emails, resulting in these issues either only just being addressed, or not having been addressed at all.
Inspections on the property are not carried out to the full extent they should. Many electrical objects that are in the house have not been kept up to date with their checks, posing potential risks to us as tenants as well as the contractors working on the house.
I would not recommend letting with Golding at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
