I just paid $250 for FROZEN Pastrami, Kinish's and Matzo Ball Soup from Lidos Kosher Deli. You're f'm kidding me, right??????

I have placed 2 orders from them.
One was shake shack burgers and they arrived in good condition but I had no clue when either order would arrive until they were finally shipped.
The other one was apple pies and at first it looked like a great deal. BOGO Free but i decided to check the pie company鈥檚 website and found out the price of the pies were half the price listed on Gold Belly. Of course I did get each pie for $29.95 like posted on the company鈥檚 website but if I had only needed one pie I could have done that through the supplier instead of needing to get 2 from Gold Belly. I feel that was kind of sneaky the way they put the regular price at double the price making me think I would be saving the price of one pie.
The pie was delicious but I did feel deceived by this company.
Now when I see things on their website I go right to the supplier and check their prices and they are always lower and sometimes
way lower so I have bought directly from the suppliers.
There are some interesting items on this site but you have to check the pricing before ordering.

I have ordered from goldbelly several times and have enjoyed the quality of the food. For my last order i needed to utilize customer service. My email was replied to promptly and the issue was resolved. The customer service was just as outstanding as the food!

I almost always now send foods on destination trips that I attend to add a little fun to the event (Kentucky derby favorites to the Florida Keys for an impromptu Derby party or BBQ from different Southern greats for example). Recently had a last minute change of plans and had to change my deliveries just prior to shipments and the Goldbelly staff made all the modifications seamlessly – HUGE HELP!

Rude, inconsistent, with questionable business practices and cheapen the brands they represent. Don鈥檛 allow clients to keep their customer information so they can keep that data and sell those people other items. Run by ex-hedge fund guys. Don鈥檛 have the businesses鈥?best interest at heart.

I will never order from this company again. When they were foodie direct they were a wonderful place to get special treats. I ordered a cake from Carlos Bakery for my birthday. It was shipped ground with no dry ice in the package. The cake was inedible and suffered damage to its layers and icing as well as being hot to the touch.
The same day of delivery I contacted gold belly and was told all they would offer would be a credit to their site for the order total or a replacement cake. Obviously a special occasion cake is for a special occasion and I had to make other arrangements the day of. Multiple people online have complained about Carlos not putting dry ice into their packages.
I filed a dispute and my bank also refused to have my back in this matter. This is a terrible unfriendly and obvious money sham. How on earth I鈥檓 responsible for a company鈥檚 inability to package and ship a cake correctly is beyond me. I have pictures of the damages and proof I contacted them.
Stay far away and support a local company. I will never do business with this place ever again and i filed a complaint with the BBB.

When you have problems with Goldbelly, they will not offer a refund. In my case, I ordered well in advance of my occasion. I was delivered pizza that was terribly packaged. The package had holes in it and between the box it was in and the styrofoam, I did not feel it was safe to eat. The plastic around the pizza was cracked with big holes. It was packaged in such a way that the elements and bugs could have gotten into it during transport. So Goldbelly reshipped and the second package had the same issues. Goldbelly would only give me a credit. I used the credit to order from a different place and that also arrived terribly. I was afraid to eat it. It was scones and there were holes in the cardboard box the scones arrived in and crumbs rolling around in the box. Very unsanitary. I will not order from Goldbelly again. Also, instead of getting pizza through Goldbelly, I ordered directly from Giordanos. The Giordanos pizza arrived perfectly packaged, frozen, and safe to eat.

Got a $100 gift card, looking to spend on Goldbelly. Looking at the prices, food that costs $55 at the local restaurant costs $119 at Goldbelly! I understand a small markup, like $10-$15 or so, but more than the price of food as markup is inexcusable! I am sharing this with my company so that we don't buy gift cards from them again, this is ridiculous!
Goldbelly came back saying that most of the markup goes to Fedex/UPS and for packaging costs, and suggested trying out food with free shipping. I chose an option that had free shipping, so not sure if that holds. Moreover, I am not sure it costs $65 for overnight shipping within the US. Thanks for the prompt response, but I am still not convinced, thanks!

We ordered two Nashville Hot Chicken Family Meals for 8 from Big Shake's Hot Chicken, for delivery on Friday to be in time for a large family dinner on Saturday. Half of the order arrived as scheduled leaving me 11 pieces of Chicken, a small amount of green beans and an adequate amount of cornbread for 16 people costing me $239. The other half of the order arrived on Monday, completely thawed and starting to rot. I asked for a refund and was told that their "policy" does not allow for that. They did offer a credit for future orders or would resend the order for a future date, all unsatisfactory for me. I will say that the quality of the food was good, but at the cost the local super market fried chicken is much more affordable and close to as tasty.

I was a bit weary reading some of the reviews but so glad I took the plunge and did it! 5 stars isn鈥檛 enough! Our package was truly overnight from New York to Hawaii!! Ice cold! I can鈥檛 think of a better birthday gift then giving a Michelin star dinner from Cote Steakhouse in New York! We will definitely be telling our friends and ordering again. Nikki was fabulous to work with! 5 Stars!

Goldbelly is a disaster with rude customer service and since you can't get phone support you have to rely on the customer service agent to move that extra inch should you have a problem. Taste of Chicago, Portillo's, and Chef's Fresh Fish are far superior than Goldbelly. You have a 33% chance that 1) your order is correct, 2) it arrives on time, and lastly 3) it isn't damaged. No discount deal is worth the headache.

Goldbelly delivered a cake from Carlo's Bakery to my granddaughter's surprise birthday party. It arrived severely damaged (upside down) and not on dry ice as promised. They allow no human contact to resolve issues, email only, and it took me 3 weeks to get the issue resolved to my satisfaction (a complete refund), which happened only after I threatened to file a complaint with the BBB. What kind of customer satisfaction policy is it that makes one resort to a BBB threat in order to be heard. And shame on Carlo's Bakery for doing such a poor job in packing and shipping.

They do not guarantee your food will arrive unspoiled from poor packing and delivery delays. Crab was scheduled for two days in transit!? But delayed for a third day.
Given a local order was thawed (not frozen as indicated) after arriving on time, I cannot imagine crab will be safe to eat. Goldbelly is giving me a song and dance about 鈥渁rrival times鈥?- what about spoilage?
They need to ship faster and file fedex claims themselves. Why should a customer take on such risk??
Will NEVER buy from goldbelly again as they have no interest in food safety and customer satisfaction. $200 wasted. Hoping they鈥檒l do the right thing.
It鈥檚 a SCAM and the FDA should investigate them. Going to report them now.

Unbelievably bad delivery! We have had intermittent issues with several deliveries over the past 6 months or so. But this week was the topper. Three of four orders all trashed — we haven't received the fourth order yet so stay tuned. The first one, the box was opened and smashed like an accordion, then two (!!) separate orders from different restaurants that had to be kept cold (meats and cheeses) arrived at 65+ degrees. We used a meat thermometer to measure the ice packs. Both food and "ice packs" were too warm.

I would give them ZERO stars if it was an option. I ordered 4 cakes and a package of cannolis for my daughters first birthday at the end of July at a price tag of about $200 bucks. All the cakes were hot and the cannolis were smashed to pieces dumped all over the bottom of the box. I contacted goldbelly and it took them almost an entire month to give me the credit. They kept tell me me there was a credit but wasnt. Finally, after I got the credit, I ordered a 2nd time using $90. I did this and on AUGUST 24th my new order came in. I took the package out of the UPS drivers hands. Opened the box and the cannoli cream registered at 62 degree and completely unsafe to consume. I contacted Goldbelly with pictures and they said they would give me a credit since refunds are not allowed. Since AUGUST 24 they keep telling me they have issued a credit but nothing. I have emailed them at least 6-7 time telling them the credit has not been issued and it is now September 15 and 23 days later. COMPLETELY UNEXCEPTABLE! All they do is lie to the customer and keep them in limbo. What a poor company to do business with!

I ORDERED OVERNIGHT DELIVERY OF 24 BAGELS AND PAID $169 ON A THURSDAY NITE FOR SATURDAY FEDEX DELIVERY. MONDAY GOLDBELLY WRITES TO SAY THE DELIVERY CAN BE A WEEK MORE ? WHY OFFER OVERNIGHT AND CHARGE YOU IF THEY CAN'T DELIVER. TOTAL RIPOFF. I PUT A STOP ON MY CARD. DO NOT TRUST THIS SELLER

Goldbelly is excellent! We can't say enough great things about their customer service. There was an issue with our order and the representatives made it good! We love to travel and experience new foods, so during this time when home it safer, the Goldbelly experience has allowed us to continue our journeys and enjoy regional foods! I wish I had the same experience with Goldbelly that the other reviewers had. Unfortunately, all I got was insincere apologies and a link to their 鈥渧ery concrete鈥?return policy.
My shipment of Humphry Slocombe 6 pint ice cream arrived as soup, improperly packaged with no dry ice just some bubble wrap. I was not offered a refund at all.
Too bad I can鈥檛 attach photos here, as it was a complete mess.

I started ordering from Goldbelly during a period when we could no longer dine out, after the pandemic affected the area where we live. My daughter told me about this site where I could order amazing food, which is offered from just about any state in the country. I love to cook/bake, but was looking for some other options to my daily routine. I began ordering an array of food from the East coast, the Southern states, Midwest, Northeast and West coast. I haven鈥檛 been disappointed yet! Every order was packaged properly and all items were delivered in pristine condition.
Just recently, I placed a large order for some dear friends that own a cattle ranch and homes, that were in great danger of losing, due to the Oregon fires. When I got word that their town had been evacuated, I immediately made contact with a representative, requesting to cancel the order. I received a response stating that part of the order was already processed and on its way, but they would cancel the items that hadn鈥檛 shipped. But the most impressive part, was when they offered a full refund and credit for the entire order. Included, too, was a very kind, thoughtful email expressing their concern for our friends.
I can鈥檛 say enough for the 鈥淕oldbelly鈥?family and would recommend this notable business to anyone.
The lox and bagels and prime rib dip from New York are two of our favorite items. And, also, Im crazy about the breadsticks from Claudio鈥檚.
Give it a try- you鈥檒l be quite impressed!

I have used Goldbelly for 2 items – banana pudding and cooked lobsters. The lobsters were a day late but I planned for that due to Covid-19. The packing was perfect and the lobsters were fresh and delicious! The banana pudding was a gift that arrived as scheduled, was cold, fresh and 鈥渢he best banana pudding鈥?my friend has ever had. I have 2 more gift deliveries scheduled – hope to be able to write another positive review.
